Sugisaki's face is rarely seen, as she prefers to draw herself with a rabbit face or mask in her manga profile images. She also seems to have developed a trait of leaving her series unfinished before moving on to different projects (Notably D.N.Angel, which has seen multiple month-long droughts between chapters. She has just recently done many Lagoon Engine installments, including the Japanese release of volume 7.
Previous to that, she completed a small series entitled Eden, which had its debut in the October 2006 issue of Shōnen Ace, and finished in February 2007. It saw a departure of sorts from Sugisaki's previous series, with a darker, sci-fi noir theme and older protagonists.
Currently, she finished D.N.Angel in 20 volumes (5 released only in digital).
Her work
She made her debut in "Asuka Magazine" with "Namaiki no N". Her other works include "D.N.Angel (13 volumes, unfinished) ", "Rizelmine (1 volume, finished)", "Lagoon Engine (7 volumes, unfinished)", and "Lagoon Engine Einsatz (1 volume, unfinished)". Her "D.N.Angel" manga and "Rizelmine" manga have also been adapted into anime series. Because the D.N.Angel manga was incomplete at the time, the anime has many differences to the original manga, most notably the ending.
Sugisaki is also the artist of the "BrainPowerd" and "The Candidate for Goddess" manga, both of which have been turned into an anime. Her "Neutral" artbook contains artwork from "D.N.Angel", "BrainPowerd", and "The Candidate for Goddess". Her second artbook, [FEDER:] (which is no longer available for purchase), contains newer artwork solely from D.N.Angel. She has also penned the well-known "Sotsugyo M", and created doujinshi for series such as "Tenkuu no Escaflowne", Neon Genesis Evangelion, Lets&Go , and King of Fighters.
Most of her works feature young, cute main characters and elements of Yaoi, though not considered Yaoi.
Her current project is D.N.Angel, which has finally begun serializing in Monthly Asuka again.

WOW! This was an absolute blast to read!
I'm officially adopting Daisuke because what a precious little bean he is!! He has such a big heart, and I appreciated seeing him get super emotional at times because he felt like such a real character to me! Though my goodness, my heart was breaking for him near the end, and anything that really brought him down! He's so sweet that often I couldn't help but want to break into the story and protect him myself! LOL!
On the flip side, Dark was a lot of fun! Daisuke is easily my favorite character, but I confess that for all the trouble Dark gives him, I still enjoyed him on page! LOL! He really brought a liveliness and danger to the pages that I found myself looking forward to their transformations! (Again, except the end because Daisuke needs to have his happiness protected at all costs!)
I think the most surprising thing to me, though, was how messy and complicated the "romance" was! Goodness, talk about a love square! I, however, wasn't turned away by it because I found the two twins helped make the story compelling in that aspect, even though what a certain twin said at the end leaves me VERY curious as to what will happen next!
Lastly, the "commander" was a fascinating character! I'm honestly not sure what to think of him because he is crazy smart, and it seems he already has things figured out? I'm not quite sure what that means for the rest of the story, but I eagerly look forward to finding out!
I am DEEPLY thankful that I was encouraged to pick up this first volume because I had an amazing time! I'm already looking forward to volume two, and I'm so thankful Yen is reprinting this series in such an amazing edition!
If you're a fan of the magical girl genre but want a magical boy instead, you need to check this one out! It's awesome!!

Además de que la historia es re linda y los dibujos impecables, esta edición es lo más hermoso que vi. Las páginas color intercaladas, el relieve en la sobrecubierta, todo ❤️

Avevo preso i primi due volumi per vedere che tipo di manga fosse. Dovrei aver comprato di seconda mano anche la prima edizioni a prezzi accettabili ma poi, come al solito, l'avevo accantonata e mi ero dimenticata di lei. Così ne ho approfittato di questa nuova, ancorché costosa, edizione.
Che è fatta benissimo, per carità. Addirittura con le pagine a colori all'interno, all'inizio dei capitoli.
Per quel che riguarda la storia, sarei orientata verso le 2,5 stelline. Perché si i personaggi sono simpatici ma la storia ha confuso enormemente il mio povero cervellino e non sono sicura di aver capito tutte le sottigliezze di quello che Daisuke deve fare. Senza contare che devo concentrarmi ogni volta che voglio distinguere le due gemelle. Ma è causa mia.
Per adesso continuo.

Abgebrochen auf Seite 59.
Wenn schon auf den ersten 10 Seiten ne Beziehung abgelehnt wird, weil der Typ nicht männlich genug aussieht und sie ja nen heißen Freund braucht, weil ihre Schwester größere Brüste hat und sie ja auch was vorweisen muss, weißte Bescheid.
Hat mich aber auch so nicht gecatcht, Zeichenstil ist auch nicht so meins.
(Hasst mich nicht, ich lese Mangas hauptsächlich für die Arbeit und bin schwer zu überzeugen in dem Genre)
