Part of The Bratva Billionaire’s Forbidden Darlings series sometimes fate shines down and gives a second chance but know once you start this you put it down until the last page has been turned so hang on and double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. These two met in school and fell for each other hard and he hurt her, but she never forgave him, or she didn’t understand why he hurt her, so she locked her heart away never really forgetting her hurt or forgetting how she loved him. Fast forward to today Sienna works as a fashion photographer for a boss who doesn’t take the time to learn her name or anything about her for that matter, she also works catering part time to make ends meet and she happens to be working the welcome home event for her best friend Ana her ex. (yep same one who broke her heart) sister. Ana’s brother Lev asked her out on a date and stood her up the other kids took pictures only to bully her for the rest of the school years when he never returned to school to answer why and so she has lived with the hurt for years now but that didn’t stop her from loving her best friend his sister. Lev sexy as all get out now head of the Bratva watches her get hit on by the western charter she avoids, denies them politely but they are used to taking what/who they want he isn’t going to allow that to happen so he steps in, he is ruthless when needed, deadly every day, has never forgotten her still cares for her despite the fact that she is fighting him he isn’t leaving her there and so he puts her in the car takes her his home informs she needs to stay put for about a week until he can calm things down. Now that they are in close quarters things are hashed out, but will she listen to why he didn’t show up, will she understand, will she forgive him, can she see that fate has given her that second chance she has always wanted deep down, will he keep her safe, and can they find their happiness the second time around?

Barbi Cox has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Sienna and Lev. Sienna and Lev knew each other when they were in school and he did something to hurt her and now she can't stand him. They meet again when she is working at a party and a couple of the guests start giving her a hard time. Gregor is the guest who is giving her a hard time and when Lev comes up to Sienna, Gregor gets mad. Lev lets Gregor that Sienna is his and to keep his hands off her. When Lev tells Sienna to come with him, she tells him no that she is leaving and going home. Lev tells her that she is going to go with him since she just made an enemy with Gregor. He tells her that Gregor doesn't plan to be nice to her. Sienna tells him that she hates him for the way he treated her and allowed his friends to treat her back in school. Lev takes Sienna back to his house and tells her that he should have the problem taken care of by the end of the week. Lev has not forgotten Sienna and he still wants her but he is now the head of his mafia family. At first, Sienna tries to get away from Lev but he won't let her go. They make a deal for the next week. Sienna and Lev have a long talk and he tells her everything about what he has been doing since he last saw her. Lev talks to her about her work as a photographer and offers to give her her own show because he thinks she is really good. At the showing, Lev is flirting with another woman and this upsets Sienna and she doesn't know why. She is not happy with him and she lets him know it. Lev has had enough of not touching her and he lets her know how he feels. He tells her what happened the night he was to take her out. He told her about why he didn't go back to school and taking his classes online. Sienna is finding it harder to keep her feelings for Lev locked down since she doesn't trust him not to hurt her again.

Vasily stole Sienna’s heart when they were young, only to destroy it by standing her up on their first official date. She never heard from him again and the rest of her high school years were full of bullying stemming from that incident. She’s hated him ever since.
Little did Sienna know, but she stole V’s heart as well. He had their date all planned but was forced to no-show when his mafia boss father made him go on a run that ended with him being severely injured. He’s never stopped loving her.
They meet a decade later when V saves Sienna from the clutches of another mafia faction and claims her, thereby starting a war. She wants less than nothing to do with him but he kidnaps her and says she must stay until the situation calms. He does everything possible to get Sienna to admit to wanting him as much as he wants her. Sienna puts up a damn good fight trying to hold onto her hatred but ends up losing in the face of V’s sincerity and honesty. But can their relationship survive once bullets start flying?
I loved this couple. V is charming and sexy, arrogant and sweet, and just plain adorable with the way he supports and builds up Sienna and professes his love. Sienna’s confidence grows as a result of V’s love and she learns it’s OK to be vulnerable and to demand respect.
The only bit I didn’t like was the party scene when Sienna walks in on V getting some “attention” from a random woman. I hate when male characters attempt to forget or distract themselves from the woman they want by doing sexual things with other women. It’s gross. I’m disappointed in V for doing it, knowing Sienna was at the party, but in the grand scheme of things it was only a minor annoyance.

Their Unexpected Second Chance -
Even though Vasily stepped in to save Sienna from being harassed, she didn’t take kindly to him taking her away against her will, as she still held a grudge against him from their high school days. Vasily had never gotten over his feelings for Sienna, but he knew being with her would be dangerous because of the life that he led. However, Vasily realised as he spent time with Sienna, that she made life a lot more exciting and his attraction for her would make his life difficult, if she decided to leave.
However, their path to happiness didn’t run smooth, as their lives kept getting interrupted outsiders, but this actually only brought them closer to each other. It also allowed Sienna to let go of the past, so she could get the happily ever she had convinced herself she would never get. Vasily may have been apprehensive about Sienna finding out about his dark and dangerous life, but he soon realised she was the light in his life that healed the dark part, so did everything within his power to ensure they got to live a happy life together.
I didn’t think I would really enjoy reading this book, but I was hooked on the story by the time I finished reading chapter two. By the time I got to the end of chapter three, I was itching to find out what happened in their past and if they were able to resolve their issues. Grab a copy of this book now and you won’t regret making it your next weekend entertainment.

Mafia stories aren't ordinarily the genre I read. That being said, there's just something about the ones written by Barbi Cox...
Vasily Lev Ogievich, or Lev as he's now called, is many things to many people. He's head of the Mafia and his family, dangerous, a killer, ruthless, vengeful, evil and even the very Devil himself.
To Sienna he's V, the man she's loved since high school. The man who asked her to be his date for a HS dance and then never bothered to show. The man who did nothing when she became the target and laughing stock of the school. The man who never contacted her again. The man she loved then and the man she still loves.

I was unexpectedly surprised this was my first read of Barbi Cox.
I started reading it and wasn't quite sure of the kind of content it had but the more I read about it the more I couldn't stop reading it
The story of Lev and Sienna was quite the Mafia story.
Sophia was so unsure of herself and the things life threw at her. She was in love with a young man named Vasily. They were supposed to meet one day and he never showed. Her world fell apart, she was bullied relentlessly. and had to leave.
VASILY was young and in love but he had family obligations that took him away from the only person he might ever care about.
10 years later things take a different turn..
What will happen between Sienna and Vasily
This a must-read written by Barbi Cox
I loved this story between these two characters and will want to read more. Their chemistry was undeniable and remarkable. Barbi Cox is one heck of a writer who leaves you wanting more
Oh by the way. Make sure you bring a cold drink with you because this book is sooo hot and spicy. Your gonna need something to cool you down..

Sienna and Lev are made for each other! When they run into each other 10 years after he stands her up for their date they find danger, anger, jealousy and so much more.
Sienna is angry and believes the Lev stood her up on purpose. Standing her up & the bullying she received after, the rumors that classmates spread shaped how she viewed herself and questioned the motives of everyone except her best friend. She’s mistreated by her boss, told she’s worthless and isn’t any good at her job.
Lev has to work to make her believe in herself and her abilities. Her confidence grows beautifully and she begins to stand up for herself.
Sienna & Lev do have to get thru some danger before they get their HEA.
Barbi did a great job on the writing and I can’t wait to read more of her work.

This had all my key elements wrapped up in a really quick read. A bit of angst had me a little edged, some nice dark elements being mafia and all, a big giant possessive alpha 🤤 and some really good spice.
When Lev ("V") and Sienna were alone, the sweetness that seeped from our possessive, mafia, alpha was just to die for!! I also loved how our FMC was not the least bit afraid to put the MFC straight in his place and how he loved that she did it. Their love story unfolded beautifully, and best of all, there is more from this world in the next book in the series.
When Lev and Sienna finally make the move from enemies to lovers, it was so swoon worthy. The spice was hot, dirty, and sweet all at the same time. A solid 🌶🌶🌶🌶. Great, quick, hot, read!!!.

Another Great One!
I just love reading Barbi's Mafia books. I like the way she incorporates the characters from other series into her current story. 'Stolen Hearts' is a dark Mafia story; but, it is also so much more. Reuniting after 10 years, Sienna and Lev are thrown together when Lev saves her from some cruel men, rekindling their high-school romance that went horribly wrong. The strong FC and the softer side of the MC permeate throughout the book and makes it well worth reading even if you aren't into reading mafia-type books.

One of the things I love most about Barbi Cox’ writing is that she always gets right into the meat of her stories. There is no reading one third of the book to get to the heart of the story. Her main characters, Vasily (Lev) and Sienna have so much natural chemistry together and I love all my book boyfriends in her books. It’s so much fun to live vicariously through her heroines. The supporting characters, Karik and Lindsay weave into the story with ease and believability. Honesty, I can’t wait for the next book in the series, Stolen Kisses!

I really enjoyed this book. Vasily was introduced in the last RH book of Hunter, Chase, Lief and Valerie. Vasily is dominant, arrogant, and rough in the best of ways, but can be incredibly sweet. He knew what he wanted and didn't hesitate much to get it. I also liked Sienna, she had strength in her own ways. The only thing that didn't feel right was how fast Sienna capitulated to V. I feel that if she hated him so much at the beginning, the struggle and surrender should have lasted a bit longer. Otherwise, as I said, it was a good, well paced read and I look forward to seeing more of V and Sienna.

From the wonderful author Barbi Cox comes a new Mafia inspired romance series with the release of Stolen Hearts, to capture readers both loyal and new to her sensuous world of storytelling. Again, Barbi creates such well defined plots filled with interesting characters that will hold your interest and capture your hearts as you follow the trials and tribulations of their journey throughout the story. Love the sense of devotion that Lev demonstrates towards Sienna.
Barbi's previous romance stories have been involved in the reverse harem genre so it was a welcoming return to the idea of one love interest.

This is sienna and vasily(lev/v) story.
Its a mafia book and very spicy.
I understood how sienna didnt want to know vasily after he ghosted her 10 years ago(or so she thought,things werent what they seemed)
Vasily was the devil when dealing with other people in his world,but with sienna he loved and protected her.
There was one point when his sister was having a party at his house that i could of throttled him for what he was doing.
I loved how he supported sienna in making her dreams a reality and making her see what she was really worth.
I actually loved karik aswell and would love to see if he gets a story along with vasilys brothers.
I cant wait to read the rest in the series

Passionate and compelling read.
This was a great read. The characters had depth and passion and the story was intriguing and compelling. I really enjoyed the push and pull between Lev (V/Vasily) and Sienna, the unravelling of their history, the contrast between Lev’s public and private personas and the tender HFN ending, and am already looking forward to book 2 in the series - Stolen Kisses.

Sienna (FMC) and Vasily (Lev) have a history that isn't exactly a happy one. So when their paths cross again Vasily ends up kidnapping her in order to protect her. Only he's just as dangerous as they are being involved in his family's business. I loved how Sienna had no fear of Vasily even with knowing who he was. It was that dynamic and all the sexual tension they had together that was so hot! As well as kept me glued to this book. Loved It.

not to bad
A pretty good read. I enjoy this author and her writing. Only reason it’s not a 5 star is because of the scene where he intentionally hurt her, having her watch him get a blow job from another girl. Can’t stand men like that. Can’t stand women that just forgive them and end up in their bed right after. Still if you can get over this scene it’s a good read.

Barbi Cox kicks of The Bratva Billionaires' Forbidden Darlings series with a bang with book 1, Stolen Hearts. A hard on her luck/billionaire, grumpy vs sassy, forced proximity, second chance mafia romance. The book brings all the elements of suspense, along with a FMC whose no push over and a MMC who will stop at nothing to both protect and win back the woman he loves. This book has great characters, storyline and plot twists that keep you guessing. It's a slow burn with a lot of pent up tension and chemistry, but when fire ignites it's definitely worth the wait (🌶️🌶️🌶️).
FMC Sienna didn't have it easy growing up, and as an adult not much better luck having to work multiple jobs to pay the bills. What she really wants is to be a photographer, but her current boss under-appreciates her and puts her down constantly. While working one of her many odd jobs, a cocktail waitress at an event, she comes face to face with her past. She tries not to make a scene and go unnoticed, but a few of the male guests have other ideas. When she stands up for herself, she has no idea who she rejected or how much danger she has put herself in. MMC Lev, also known as Vasily or V by those close to him is the boss of the mafia in the area and he runs a tight ship. Not everyone is happy with the way he runs things and some older generations are missing the 'good old days'. This was more of a second chance than a mafia romance. There really wasn’t any mafia related plot to it. There were parts I liked and others I felt like they had potential to be a lot better.
I liked the second chance, enemies to lovers trope. I would’ve liked to have gotten a little more back story to Lev and Sienna’s past. Exactly how did they become friends when it was obvious they were from two different worlds. What and why did Lev change towards in high school and allow her to be bullied and laughed at while he did nothing. And what happened to him that night that put him in the hospital for weeks.
One thing I didn’t like was that scene when after Lev had taken her and she was living with him, she walked in and found him getting a bj from another girl. For a guy who professed his want and desire for her, and claim that for a decade the only way he could come was to think about her, and then he literally has her back in his life and living with him, and he chooses to turn to another woman?!
Lev said all the right words, but his actions didn’t back them up. And that shit with Annik, she should’ve been fired. He knew she had a thing for him, and out of respect for Sienna, that alone should have been enough to get rid of her.
Overall thoughts, not a bad read, but not really great either. It definitely had potential to be a lot better.

O-M-G. This was absolutely awesome! Barbi's best so far (I think I say that every time.) I started it and couldn't put it down. Vasily/V/Lev is SO sweet (well, he's brutal, too, but not with Sienna.
This is the kind of mafia story that I personally really like. It has the rough mafia elements, but the male protagonist is brought to his knees (not yet, but he will be eventually) by a good woman. It's a bit of a slow burn but not enough to frustrate the reader.
The characters are thoughtfully engaged together, like a good puzzle with big pieces. The secondary characters each and all compliment the main ones, and the plot is easy to understand and follow. You don't have to scratch your head, wondering what is going on.
If you like stories built around tough mafia characters and the women who love them, you will absolutely love "Stolen Hearts.".

The book starts off with Sienna. Having run into a past ex love Lev during a work event, her emotions are all over the place. He left her, stood her up, and when she is forced into close proximity to him, that past grudge resurfaces. Full of anger, frustration. She battles with her growing attraction.
I found Lev frustrating at times. He was very possesive of her on one hand, but seemed quite happy to use women to his own ends. His character does grow throughout the book, he learns to be less selfish and to think of others and Sienna. There is a lot of baiting, teasing and some very steamy moments between the two. There is a lot of build up to the steam, but once it happens, the passion between them is palpable. Nice little book, with a plot, you don't see much of the action, until later on in the book once we start getting the back story on Lev and where he disappeared to, when he basically stood her up.

OMG this book was fantastic. I was hooked and I loved it. Barbi Cox did it again with another great and steamy story of Lev and Sienna. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down not even for a moment. Their love was forbidden and their were so much of emotions and feeling going around between these two characters. This was the Russian Bratva Mafia family. Will Sienna have a broken heart after all these of complication of all he was the bad boy. There chemistry were intriguing and the physical attraction was lust and intimacy and spicy of pleasure. Will something so surprising will be the unexcepted of actions. I highly recommend this book and you won't regret reading this story it will take you into their world and more.

Lev and Sienna each had deep feelings but at their first official date, he was a no show and did not return to school. Years later, he is now head of the mafia and tries to protect her from a rival group that does not take no for an answer. He whisks her away and during that week, they open up and learn what happened to the other. Will they get a second chance? Has her heart hardened too much? Will she believe he was seriously injured during the mission his father sent him on? The characters are well developed, with great backstories, determination, entertaining situations, banter and chemistry. Great storyline that grabs you from the start. Plenty of drama, danger, twists, secrets, revelations, steamy moments, deep feelings, and a good ending. Can not wait for the next book.

In this book, Sienna unwittingly reconnects with Lev. They were once inseparable best friends, but as they entered high school, he crushed her heart and left her with a hatred for him. When their paths reconnect, the attraction between them is hard to deny. As Sienna finds herself in danger, he becomes her protector.
This was the first book I have read by Barbi Cox, but it won't be the last. I found this to be a quick and easy read, with just enough spice and drama to keep readers engaged. At times, it did feel a bit choppy and bounced around without completely fleshing out the arcs within the story. Other than that, I really enjoyed the overall vibe of the book and look forward to seeing how this series will progress.

Stolen Hearts is a fantastic forbidden mafia romance. This book focuses on Vasily, a.k.a Lev who was first introduced in the Three For Me series, and Sienna. Vasily broke SIenna's heart 10 years prior due to family business obligations and they haven't seen each other since. Until one fateful night where Sienna is working at Vasily's sister's party. As old feelings resurface so does the hurt and hatred. Will Sienna be able to overcome the hurt and hatred? Will Vasily get the chance to explain what happened that fateful night 10 years ago and make it up to her? I absolutely love Sienna and Vasily! This is a fantastic new series and I can't wait to see what awaits in the next book, Stolen Kisses!!.
