I loved it!!!! What a fabulous start to this new series by Beck Knight!
I truly love anything mafia or Bratva and this short story was both forbidden and hot! With a age gap vibe and the whole godfather theme it had a great edge and the couple's chemistry steamy as fuck!
When Bratva princess Nikoletta decides to sell her virginity to the highest bidder to gain her freedom from her father and evil step brother plans of marrying her to Ivan Petrov who's a even bigger monster then them.But when Konstantin Malikov her father's best friend and her godfather thaws her plans a war that that's been building between erupts and a long with it a passion that will not only bring down a alliance but could put both their lives in danger! This is just the first book for these two lovers and I can't wait for more!!! Nikoletta maybe only eighteen but being raised in the bratva world and you don't stay innocent for long! At least she had the guts to change her out come and what better then the sinfully hot sexy Konstantin!!! Damn is he fine! And the scene with the scars and how they were all from years of watching over her! Made me melt!! Can't wait for more of this couple and book two "Twisted Cage" is right around the corner! I've read a couple of Beck Knight's short stories. And each one not only held my attention with great storylines and writing but intriguing characters as well and knowing theirs more to come has me locked and loaded. Until next time Luv's😉💋

This ticks almost all my boxes. Not only is this age-gap, but its almost guardian/ward as she's his god-daughter that he's helped raise. The transition is done well. Their first time is hot, and the place where it happens is two fold, because of the physical spot and the 18 yr significance. Definitely looking forward to the next book.
That's what the other reviews I agree that the characters in plot are well developed in such a short time.
The FMC has had some trauma by one of her brothers that isn't your typical run of the mill Mafia sibling angst. I hope she stays the mix of brave and sweet and doesn't turn bratty/ weak, vulnerable is fine but I hate when a character is described one way and never acts it.

Godfather and god daughter....
He rescues her from a club where she was selling her v-card. She is trying to free herself Russian Mafia family especially her brother. He has been torturing her ever since she was little and he already arranged her marriage to another powerful family.
She was always drawn to her Godfather (who is same age as his father.). She secretly wanted him to be her first. When she finds out he has been protecting her all her life, she is determine to have him. However, things will turn for the worst when she finds out his first love was her mother. It ends in cliffhanger. It just felt too short.

This is definitely a darker book. It’s not crazy violent or bloody, but definitely more intense and aggressive as it’s set in that mafia style world. There’s more stories in the series that I can see featuring more of the violence. It’s definitely not for everyone but for those who like reading these styles of books it’ll be a good quick read.

Well, there is a warning in the first page, illicit sex between godfather and god-daughter - LOL.
And the story… well, you need to find out by yourself. Then come the ending… its’ very disappointing for me.
