This was the perfect ending to the Fouches saga. Two things Dria Andersen is going to give us is large family/community and a hero who does not play about his mate. All the couples are back and grandma Patsy had a substantial role in getting through this confrontation. I wish it was a few more chapters but overall it was so good.

Fire In The Moonlight
is the final installment (I think) of the Georgia Arcana Series and is about the 3rd Fouche Witch cousin, Vanessa, and her eventual mate, Joseph Taylor the Third, also known as Trey. We get one last magical hurrah from the cousins and their partners and another chance to witness one of them come into their power and utilize the full potential of their magic. It was fun to see all the pieces fit together in the end.

So...I waited a bit to record my thoughts on this because I was trying to figure out what exactly I wanted to say about this book. And ultimately, it came down to two main things.
The first one being that I'm happy this series is finished and that I very much enjoyed it. It ended on a high note, was extremely entertaining and engaging, and was a continuation of the enjoyment that I've had in reading the previous 2 books.
The second major thing that I want to point out is that Dria Anderson has a very unique and impressive way of showcasing the chemistry between her two main characters in her writing. The way she writes makes it hard not to fall in love with not only the characters but with the interactions they have with eachother. Every book that I've read by Dria Anderson, whether it be the Hamilton Brothers Series or Georgia Arcana, the chemistry between the two main characters is so palpable. Anytime Ness and Trey on the page together I'd swoon. For instance when Trey was trying to get Ness to stop playing games and take what they had seriously, I would get goosebumps and just have this giddy smile on my face. You can always FEEL the tension and attraction between them. Not in just a 'reading words on a page' kind of way, but in a tangible, soul moving way.
And I think the skill to write such palpable chemistry, coupled with the Paranormal/Urban Fantasy genre, only intensifies the effect, giving you that extra oomph when you're reading. These books always have that layer of ALPHA and VIRILITY, what with all the werewolvs, shifters, and whatnot. So when they're put together, it just makes it that much more intense and...addictive if I'm being honest.
Whenever I read a Dria Anderson book, I feel like she's never trying too hard...but in a good way. Even though this is the P/UF genre and I'm typically LOOKING for a lot for world building, exposition, background and set up, Dria has mastered the art of giving you everything you need with just the right amount of all of those things. She's very strategic, meticulous and surgical in her writing. Every word, page, and interaction has a purpose. There is no unecessary filler, and I love that about her writing beause it allows you to get straight to the point of the story and focus on the things that are most important, the things she WANTS you to focus on. It's quite impressive...
Anyway, that about sums it up. Overall, I really enjoyed these three books and getting to know the Fouche cousins, their partners, and all of their family and i'm looking forward to reading more by Dria.

3.5 stars. Good wrap up to the series. This one falls heavily on the fated mate, always knew you were mine tropes. Still love the cousins and the aunties to pieces.

Can’t run from destiny
Ness was a little bit of a mess. She was always in some type of trouble that it should be her nickname - trouble. Growing up the way she did was hard - a drug addict witch for a mama and all of the dysfunction, trauma and resentment that came with that as well as the adult responsibilities that she had to shoulder at times when she shouldn’t have to. She had her family but they were disjointed by their own traumas and dramas. So she was known to be in trouble with people and the law. She left and finally went legit adjacent - legitish- about as legit as she could go but skating in the razors edge finally got her cut. Now she’s in trouble again. Where do you go when you’re in trouble - to family.
Trey was almost as wholesome as apple pie but with a touch of rum for some kick. He was a football hero in the township, upstanding citizen, respected and respectful, honored his parents and was the town sheriff. His mother’s half of the family dabbled in unsavory practices but he made sure they were covered and kept the peace. But he had a sweet tooth and his wolf was ready for his mate. The problem is she kept ducking him and wouldn’t acknowledge that she felt him too.
How does trouble and the law mix? It’s like mixing the batter of a perfect cake - stir it up! Oh the trouble that Ness has gotten her family into is a big mess with deathly consequences, but Trey doesn’t mind getting into good trouble behind his mate.
I enjoyed this final installment in this series! The women are wild just like the men and their chemistry is fire. The aunties don’t play about their family and the families don’t play about all of them. It took alot but they got it done and survived.

have loved these Fouche cousins witches so much. The family still tight knit even after tumultuous events pushed them away from each other in their teens and the three cousins, Nicole, Audrey ans Vanessa coming back home to bury their beloved grandmother, to solve her murder and rekindling their bond in the process and also finding love, is *chefs kiss*❤️
Vanessa *Ness* and Joseph Taylor the third are such a beautiful closing the curtain couple.
I loved Ness's aka Vanessa Fouche personality and the drive she has in the way she did her things. Yes, she may be seen as a thief but really is taking something stolen and giving it back to the real owners really stealing..? *ponder with me*🤨
Enter Trey aka Joseph Taylor the third, wolf shifter, and the town's Sheriff. He has been checking for her for a minute but she won't give him time of day. *I mean look at the stats... she's a thief of sorts, he's a cop, she's may or may not have RETURNED an object that was previously begrudgingly owned by a ruthless and dangerous Necromancy gifted warlock...* you see why she wants to make his job easy...* makes for a good read though😏
Fleeing home to her hometown, upon her family's summon after her grandmother's passing was a reprieve until said warlock found her. Her mother dreams and paintings of a night sky burning are more or less the foreshadowing of Vanessa's chooks comning home to roost as her previous life catches up to her.
Will she let her family in before it's too late or will the guilt of wanting to take the brunt of it all be the undoing to the beautiful town?

Please don’t be the end…
I’ve immersed myself in the world(s) of Dria Andersen almost the entire month of March and of all her characters (series) finale’s this one was hard to say goodbye to. Ness mating with Trey was the final Fouche granddaughter to mate and it was beautiful. Ness made an enemy of a very powerful warlock in the life she’d been living as a Witchy Robin Hood and he showed up to collect. Patsy, their grandmother raised amazing daughters and in turn they raised 3 amazing girls who possessed power unrivaled and grew their family’s legacy to higher heights. The Taylor’s and Fouches were meant to be entangled for generations to come. Let me tell y’all about JT…that man was about his business and he was stepping hard behind his Kitty Kat. I was as upset as he was when he learned the lengths his mom went through to stop him from being with his mate, but everything has perfect timing and he didn’t have to work too terribly hard to get Vanessa on board. To Mrs. Andersen, should you ever see this I’m thinking we may need a 3rd gen book, and I need to know if Dante finds love and maybe Eli too. Think about it.🤷🏽♀️🤔

I’m writing my reviews after completing the series. Book 3 of the Arcana series revolves around the third cousin of a trio of witches. With the family curse broken, the families (there are two intertwined) face the last threat to all their “happily ever afters”.
Dria Andersen does a great job of making each story unique and interesting. The close knit family, traditions, love, and (unrelenting) good natured teasing resonates so much with Black family traditions. I love this paranormal series with an all-Black cast. The heat is great too! Another great series. I look forward to reading more by Ms. Andersen.

I loved it
Vanessa Fouche has too much on her plate to be taking on a soulmate. Trey Taylor is ready for everything that Vanessa is and ever will be. Too bad a bounty is a part of that.
I absolutely hate that this series is over. I think I would have enjoyed more stories from Springbrook. More Taylors, more Fouches, just more. I want more.
Good thing Andersen has other novels.
If you like soulmates, bounties, and moms with good intentions, then this is for you.

This made my heart smile
Vanessa might be my favorite of the fouche girls, right next to her mama. I loved this book and I love the message of acceptance and home that seems to thread among the three. Plus, Trey is adorable and perfect. This might be the first time I wished a book was longer so I could stay in it a while more

What a beautiful closure to this amazing series! Fouche/Taylor Gang for life! Book 3 had me on edge waiting for what was to come, yet in the end, nothing is stronger than family! They were some fighting folk and search beside each other. I love the way they love! Such a great series!

I wanted the story to have more description and details, especially as it related to the main conflict and resolution. It lacked much necessary background information about Vanessa "Ness" and Joseph "Trey," especially their previous/current employment and family/intimate relationships. I also found the romantic movements between Ness and Trey to lackluster.

This series was everything! I didn't want it to end, but this story brought it to the best conclusion. Trey and Ness were perfect together. It was rough going at first, but things worked out. The story was filled with romance, action, magic, and familial love. So wonderfully great. Black paranormal romance makes me happy.

Vanessa’s and Trey’s is by far my favorite. The banter and chemistry they have is spot on. I enjoyed their love for family and how everyone got along seamlessly. Is Danita’s story next??? Great read.

I am sad to see this series end! I loved the world the Dria Andersen created with the Fouche's. There were a few points in which I wanted to shake Vanessa. Her keeping secrets was putting everyone in danger and I need my people to be safe! But I also understood why she didn't they have all been through a lot and she didn't want to add to that drama. I loved that everyone was in this story and we got to see the whole community interact and be together.
A thing that Dria always does really well is create a community around her characters. While all the family interactions might not all be positive (his mom can roll down a hill of glass) or they are in the process of repair, no one person is alone in her world and I love that.
I read books for the banter and Dria never misses.
