lots of good hikes are listed, but it's not good if you don't know maryland really well as it is not organized by region at all and includes no maps whatsoever to show you WHERE the hikes are. I found that it required a computer with internet connection to find where/how far the hikes are as you read about them. that said, it DID lead me to one of the best walks charles and i have enjoyed in a while... so. it was okay.
