In Prey We Trust

Rate this book
My second year at Apex is going to be different. That’s what I’ve been telling myself, but I’m no fool. The Council can repair the damage to campus from last year, but it won’t change the rot beneath the surface. Someone is killing students and we don’t know why, much less who. My gut tells me my mother is paw deep in this nightmare, but is she the one pulling the strings or there a darker force at play? With my besties and the five professors who have sworn to protect me, I’m coming back to a viper’s nest of enemies and dark secrets. Until we figure out who the murderer lurking in our midst is, I’ll never be safe. ‘Run, rabbit run’ isn’t just a taunt anymore. It’s the only way I’ll stay alive.

What a THIIIICK read first off lol.. but it was so good.. it kept me hooked on what's going on.. there are still some u solved questions, but the ending did an amazing job letting the readers in on some of those answers.. the ending definitely made the whole book amazing because it let the reader in, but also there is still more mystery to what happens next.

Once again / still, this is a fun series, packed with ALL the supernaturals and set in an academy. What could possibly go wrong? :)

Honestly, this whole series really has too much going on to list every fun trope, highlight, trigger, etc.
What I will say is all 3 books are basically non-stop drama and almost non-stop action, there’s lots of scheming and corruption mixed in and … did I mention drama? ;)

Academy.
ALL the shifters.
Mean girls.
Pack politics.
Villainous parents.
Banter.
FMC is a book girlie! Fun.

Overall: a fun world to disappear into for a little while.

4 stars.

Fantastic audio—smooth overall sound, high quality and great narration. 4.5 stars.

"In Prey We Trust" is book three in the "Apex Academy Capers" series, and this book is massive! Still, I had a hard time putting it down. I absolutely love this author's crazy humor, and occasionally couldn't help but chortle or snort while reading this book. With the funny quips usually coming at the most unexpected times, reading this book while drinking coffee should be listed as a possible danger to your life (or at least your dignity when there are other people around). I can understand why this type of humor might not be for everyone, but I honestly love it and always end up with a happy feeling after finishing one of this author's books. Even the occasional cliffhanger can't change that glow of happiness for me.

I already fell in love with Fitz while reading the first book, and I just keep on falling harder the longer this series takes. He's more than a ten, even though he's way out of my league, and unfortunately fictional as well. His dedication to his family, the crazy way his mind works, his psycho tendencies, how hard he loves, ... It all makes him into the perfect book boyfriend. But besides him, some of these other characters definitely grew on me as well. They are slowly becoming a wonderful family together, and a girl like Delores deserves it all!

I have no clue how long the author is planning on making this series, because there is so much more to unravel! It feels like we're only seeing parts of the bigger picture right now, and I have so many questions... Still, I love watching Delores grow into her powers and become more selfconfident along the way and I'm definitely not done with these characters myself. I can't wait to find out what's next for them!

So, I've been slowly losing my mind waiting for In Prey We Trust. Cass wants to say it's the second book in this series but it's really the third, that prequel was a full-blown book and it's important to the series so it counts. Anyway, I've been dying for this book and it surpassed my expectations and I had some pretty high expectations.

Dolly! My girl has come a long way since Come Out and Prey. Sure she still has moments of vulnerability and doubts but with the support of her guys and her BFFs, she's steadily working on her issues, overcoming a lot of her issues. Dolly is finding herself, finally, without negative interference. D has more confidence and insight, she's using her intelligence against their enemies. It's glorious.

They're a family and it's all because of Dolly. The guys have their issues too and just like they've been helping Dolly she's been helping them as well. The changes in them are noticeable. Fitz can focus, Felix is playful, Renard is more mischievous, Chess is more confident, and Aubrey is happier. All thanks to Dolly being in their life, they're more cohesive as a group. It's obvious that each of the guys loves Dolly, although she's not ready for it yet but she's getting there. Which is good they are a fantastic group. The dates are great, movie nights, smutty reads, group shopping trips, a costume Halloween party (they had a group theme, Disney villains), Thanksgiving, and more. Dolly is living the dream. Fitz is still my favorite. The best thing about Fitz is that he gives absolute zero shucks. He's gonna like what he likes, do what he does, and love who he loves. And if there is a threat he's going to become a bigger one. Gods, I love a psycho.

I have to pay omage to the side characters. Rufus and Cori are D's best friends. They hang out with her and the guys, doing all sorts of things from dinners to studying to plotting the destruction of their enemies. They are true friends and I loved getting to know more about them this time around. Rufus and his gangster family come into play and we finally learn some of Cori's history too. One of the things that I got the most joy from is the ever-changing/rotating nicknames of Rufus, Cori, Dolly, and the guys. It's the best ever and I crack up every time. Also let's not forget about Raina, Captain, and the crew. These Prey animals are major support for the gang, they had a key role in the story and deserve their props.

The Pred Games was big in this story. There's training, teams, matches, bets, drugs, fixes, and more. It was far more interesting than any sport I've seen, Cass managed to keep me interested in a sport which is a feat in itself and I enjoyed it. Besides that, there was the mystery aspect that was simultaneously slowly unfolding while also keeping us guessing. There are so many enemies coming from all kinds of angles and the gang is gathering clues trying to figure things out. There are more tunnels and vaults to explore, more missing kids, attacks, and a major cover-up. We finally get more information about the magic users in this world. The casters are witches, mages, wizards, and elementals. They can use spells, incantations, and etc. However, that's not all, apparently, this world has not only demis (descendants from deities) but it also has the Fae and I am stoked. I'm slowly piecing things together and I have a theory that centers on my favorite Frenchie. The one major question I have is who/what is Dolly?

Gods, In Prey We Trust was spectacular and it made my soul happy. I love these characters, the humor was superb, and the plot was fantastic. I'm a mystery lover and Cass has created a mystery that gets deeper as the story goes. Apex Academy Capers is one of my favorite series, I'm completely addicted and I'm not sorry. However, I will be a sorry soul while waiting for the next book, Eat. Prey. Trust. I'm already freaking out.

After the explosion at the school and as all the students are split up to other schools, Delores/Dolly has spent the summer under lock and key. Fritz has arranged for her to train in jujitsu along with proper eating. However Dolly has been kept in the dark all summer long that she will not be going back to Apex as it still has not been completed. Lucille has not given her any information and has kept her in the dark. The former school is having major problems with rebuilding due to some mysterious illness that affects the lesser prey, so the men are busy moving all their stuff out in secret. Thank goodness Dolly's men are letting her know what is going on. They want Dolly to be in the Pred Games to show everyone who's in charge at Capital Prep. Capital Prep has quartered Dolly in the reptile dorm, however Dolly's has a wonderful room waiting for her with the men and they will just put some duplicated clothes at the reptile dorm to make it look like she is living there. She will go over and mess up the bed and leave things around to make it look like she is living there. The guys arrange it so Dolly leaves two days earlier for school and on the way her group is attacked by magic welding things it takes everything Dolly's group of friends that are accompany her to drive them off. Between the professors making her life hell with impossible school work load, and what Dolly finds in her bed at the reptile dorm, along with the the prey they assign her in the Pred Games, Dolly is really developing physically and mentally and she is acquiring new gifts for her bunny. The development of her men and her in their relationship is wonderful. The mysterious disappearance of students, what, why, and how are yet to be answered. This book kept me glued finding it difficult to put it down and of course there is a cliffhanger! I will be keeping an eye out for the next one. I assure you this book does not disappoint.

4.5 ⭐️

Another amazing book in the series. I will say, the dialogue at the beginning was a little too cheesy even for me. And definitely unnecessary in the growth of their relationships, but that definitely improved later on. Another down side to this book, there were a TON of typos. However I didn’t include that in my rating because I like to focus more on the material.

That said, I LOVE where this series is going. It’s got a ton of tropes I love to read about and (so far) they’ve all been done really well. I like how in this book compared to the previous we get to see scenes play out to more completion. In the previous, a scene would happen in one chapter, but the next would be so much time later and you’d get told what happened following the mini cliffy of the chapter prior. That wasn’t really present this time which I really appreciated.

The plot progressed faster in this book than the previous in my opinion. We definitely found out a lot more, but there are definitely still wayyyyy too many unknowns that I’m dying to finally get answers to!

The relationships are developing beautifully. I love that the FMC is really coming into her own power and how supportive you men are about it. I also love the message of the book about women supporting other women. It’s not talked about much in books. You’ll see mean girls and maybe the FMC doesn’t act that way with women herself, but this book she actually talks about how she doesn’t get why women always feel the need to tear each other down.

The sexy scenes…. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ll leave it at that.

Excited to continue reading this series and see where this plot is going.

In Prey We Trust by Cassandra Feaherstone is a phenomenal academy shifter fated-mates tale. There is a focus on the division of predators and prey along with popularity contests.  Reminiscent of high school on its worst day!  This is book two in the series Apex Academy Capers and really needs the background to make sense.

Dolly is a bunny but attends a pred Academy, and it seems trouble follows her.  When she attended Apex Academy met the 5 men destined to be her fated mates.  However after.magic users.blow up the campus they are forced to all move to another campus with all new haters.  As Dolly discovers who she is with the help of her men they begin to realize she's no ordinary Shifter. With possible.war with magic users on the horizon she needs to survive school first.

I absolutely LOVE this series.  The characters are wonderful.  They are unique, quirky, funny, and a little bit crazy.  The world-building is amazing and personality continues to learn more with new twists and reveals. There is plenty of spice with this story.

I rated this 5 out of 5 stars.  I didn't want to put this down as I discovered new enemies twists with every turn of the page.  I love the humor in this book whether it be little quips,  or cute nicknames. There are laughs a plenty.  If you enjoy  shifter romances with fated-mates, academy series, mythical creatures, and found families you must read In Prey We Trust.

In Prey We Trust is book three in the Apex Academy Capers Series by Cassandra Featherstone.

💜 sassy, smart FMC
💜 found family
💜 fated mates
💜 why choose
💜 forced proximity
💜 mysteries
💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy spice

We pick up in this book at the ending of the summer break with Dolly at her parent’s home. Grateful her parents really haven’t been home most of the summer, it’s still super lonely as there guards following her wherever she goes. With Apex Academy still being put back together, they students will all be sent to different universities. That means she will be sent to a new university and thankfully with some string pulling so will her friends and guys. Will this year be better? Will there be more attacks? Who were the hooded figures from the end of the school year? What happened to the students that were taken?

So many things happen again in this book. As always l, the banter between characters had me cracking up. I love the found family and how much her love for those close to her grows. The world growth and added characters to this story adds so much depth to what is going on. This book ends in a bit of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait until I can get my hands on the next one to see what happens next.

Good Book

The issues piled up on this one, like coming at them from all sides. It’s written cleverly though. The pressure maybe mounting but there’s enough hijinx and comedic quips that it keeps it light most of the time. Dolly is stepping up, owning her weird new shifter abilities and I’m so here for it. I love reading how she realizes her potential in each of the situations she faced and hurdled. The guys were there for her every step of the way. I did find that again, there was a bunch of references to people and history or actions that didn’t make sense and I had to re read a few pages or chapters to see if I missed anything. I’m not sure maybe it’s grammar errors or what but it threw me off a bunch of times. Which is the only reason why I rated it 4 stars. Her relationships are coming along. Aubrey fell to her charms, and she got to experience a knot but again, the sexy scenes were short as per Cassandra’s fore note. I enjoyed it but I’m not sure how they are going to handle all the different war groups and still come out victorious with all their lives intact. Can’t wait to read the last book. If the last book wasn’t out already, I’d be even more grateful that there’s an introduction at the beginning of each book of what the previous books have covered.

The narrators are both really engaging and although its a long book, it was really easy to get swept up in their performances. The same things I enjoyed about the previous book are still here; Aubrey's snack related nicknames, Lucille being a moustache twirling villain and Fitz being an absolute menace. Felix should be my guy on paper but Fitz has stolen my heart. His reaction to stumbling onto a certain secret was hilarious and I just love his unmatched energy.

Dolly is well on her way to becoming a force to be reckoned with and I love how she has had to actually work for it through training and it really comes across that she has earned her place. She has come so far from the Delores of book one. Ruru and Coco have made it onto my safe list after being a little sus in book one and I am here for it. There are some new players on the board though and I am ready for some revelations in the next book - looking at you Remy!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

Every time I think Cassandra’s books can’t get any better she manages surpass herself. I fell in love with Fitz, Dolly, and the rest of the guys in Let Us Prey and that love has only grown in In Prey We Trust.

One of the best parts of IPWT is the expansion of the Apex Society world. After the explosive and magical ending of LUP, Dolly and the rest of her fluffle (look it up, it’s a thing I promise you) head to Capital Prep to start her second year of university. And With a new year and a new university comes new challenges for the crew. There are all new teachers, new classes and a new campus to safely navigate for our beloved prey, and of course a new set of mean girls to manage. All this on top of the mystery and craziness that seems to be centred around our favourite bunny and follows her wherever she goes.

The best part of this series though are the characters. I fell in love with them in the beginning for their quirks and charms and differences. But what keeps me coming back to this series and keeps me so engrossed is the development and growth of all my favourite people. I loved how Dolly didn’t start out as this amazing, kickass woman. She starts out a naive, sheltered, innocent, kid deliberately (as we find out) kept oblivious to the truths around her. Throughout the books, she is slowly finding herself, her power, and her place in the world. All of Dolly’s men also go through an evolution, becoming the best versions of themselves with Dolly’s love, support and understanding. I don’t know of any other author that truly gets you into the characters heads and makes you feel like you’re growing with them.

Add in a whopper of a whodunit, moments of laugh out loud humour, a counsellor using their patient’s trauma to write a romance novel, a truly amazing lowcountry lawyer I want to represent me if I ever needed it, and some high flying train riding spice (wink*). In Prey We Trust is one of the best books you’ll read all year. You won’t be able to put it down. You’ll also keeping wanting to come back to find all the subtle clues and Easter eggs for Cass’ other series. I can’t wait to see where Dolly and the gang end up next, and the havoc they’re going to cause.

Cassandra Featherstone does it again with In Prey We Trust, the third sorry in the Apex Academy Capers series. If you love steamy, paranormal romances featuring sexy unique shifter and lots of laughter and hijinks then this is the one for you!

This story continues where we left off previously with our snarky bunny shifter Dolly and takes us on yet another adventure with her hot alpha predator men. The chemistry between them all is still off the charts, and I absolutely love their development! Especially Dolly’s as she’s truly coming into her own and finally learning how to navigate this cutthroat world—with the help of her sexy men of course. ;)

Full of drama, intrigue, action, secrets, betrayals and enough sexy steamy times, emotional angst and hilarious banter to keep you intrigued till the very end. Featherstone is a true master at creating a fabulous immersive entertaining world and this one was no exception. Can’t wait for the next adventure! Because after that ending—i need it now!!!

This series is my new comfort read: it's got reverse harem spice, shifters, nefarious foes, magic and mystery! I haven't been able to listen or read anything for a good while now.

In general, I'm not even really into shifters, but this is different from your usual alpha pack wolves story. I liked how there were many species you wouldn't typically expect. I mean, Dolly's got a crafty designer polar bear and a sassy mobster badger for besties. :P

Some light gets shed on the unknown players involving the disappearing students towards the end. Dolly levels up in new abilities. I wonder what the creepy "guidance" counsellor has to do with the story. I have a feeling it may have been just a cover for something else.

As per usual, the female narrator’s voice for Lucille and the male narrator’s Aubrey/Renard were my faves. Though the Cali-dude bro voice for Fitz was alright. Again, I wanted them to be a true duet where the female only did the female characters.

** Note: this is solely for the audiobook. I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

OMG this was so worth the wait!! Dolly I absolutely love her!! I'm telling you our girl has come a long way since that amazing prequel. Of course she still has some doubts and insecurities but with the support of her mens and her BFFs, she working on overcoming lot of her issues. Love the development between Dolly and all of her mens as well as the increasing mystery surrounding her magic and who she actually is. Also so many things happen again in this book just when you thought you had it all figured out. Also can we talk about the banter between the characters. Hilarious!! I'm telling you it had me laughing out loud constantly. The book does end once again on a cliffhanger. Still I can't wait for what the next book will bring. Oh I also highly suggest reading the bonus scene. As always my book reviews are completely voluntarily no monetary compensation was received. The opinions I have expressed are completely my own.

I’m love this bunny. From the prequel and through to this book I have been riveted to what drama will happen to Dolly next. This girl has both the worst and best luck. With all the terrible things that seem to gravitate towards her you would expect her to have broken. But not this bunny. She has only gotten stronger both mentally and physically. And then there is her men. Holy!!!! Do they make things hot and each book gets hotter. The story has followed Dolly from finding her bunny to making it through the academies. With more than one evil bad guys making things deadly. And don’t get me started on her so called mother. But she has made so many friends and allies. She will need them all to survive the insanity her life has become. I can’t wait for what the next book will bring. I also highly suggest reading the bonus scenes.

Apex academy is being rebuilt, so you would think, no more mean girls, drama and deadly plots right? You would be wrong. Moving to Capital Prep just means Dolly now has two groups of mean girls, more teachers with dubious intent and definitely some crazy, nasty plots going on. At least the giys have managed to get moved to Capital Prep too. Fitz keeps everything slightly, crazy but fun. Chess keeps them all eating while he stress bakes. Renard and Aubrey use their many years of experience to somehow help them direct their investigations and Felix, well Felix continues being the King he is and directing them all. With everything going on, its a wonder Dolly finds time for her found family - but im so glad she does. Dolly's mother continues to be a giant pain in everyones behind and inbetween the love and the laughs, the thrilling never ending danger hits out at them all. Great book!

Grab the 'Oh Sh*t' handle and get ready for the next EPIC chapter in this ride!!
The master has done it again!!
Dolley's world has been turned upside down. With a move to a new school, that adds new baddies to her ever-growing list, our bunny has to think on her feet, and she just has to get over her fear of not being enough for her guys!
Speaking of the hot-headed alpha team! The five gorgeous preds command her body with tantalizing, sensual torture that will have even us readers begging for more!
With the magic caster ramping up their game, Dolley needs the embrace all that she is to win the fight against her mother, the magic casters hell bent on revenge and the society that deems prey as the lesser being.

Can't wait for the four book, this series is a must have in every reader's library!!

Oh my gosh, book 3 in Apex Academy Capers is amazing. I love Dolly and this book picks up right and the end of summer break, when she's at her parent's home. She's got guards following her wherever she goes but her parents haven't been home which is the silver lining.

Apex Academy is currently being put back together, so they will split the students that were previously attending between different universities. Luckily Dolly goes to a new university with her friends and the guys. Maybe this year could be better, without the drama and attacks.

The banter between these characters is top-notch and I liked that I felt like I am getting to know them in these books. The world-building is great and I love the depth the characters add in.

The cliffhanger isn't too bad in this book, but I still can't wait for what happens next!

These books are just too long, especially when there are so many of them. And yet it still seems like we are missing so much of it. Like something important is happening, and in the middle of it the chapter ends, and we go to the next chapter and it’s never mentioned again. There are also so many errors it started getting frustrating. I don’t expect a whole lot from books like this, but consistently missing words, wrong word usage and complete cutting off of sentences is just lazy, and why would I pay to read that. I stopped a little past halfway through, so I’m not sure if this is resolved but Renard having suspicions about something coming back from his past that is somehow involved in the dangerous threat to his family and mate, but being unwilling to tell them about it because of his trauma from like, hundreds of years ago, was unacceptable. Will not be continuing this series.

Fantastic third book in the series. It has all the feels and also gives you a lot to look forward to in the next book. The world building is interesting and solid. You can actually visualize the story. The character development is a central theme and Dolly is a FMC I can really get behind.

The chemistry is hot but she’s not quite ready to move things that way. But the dates are awesome and her guys are really something. Fitz is my favorite though. All the guys have their issues just like Dolly but she’s helping them work on it just like they are helping her. It’s a lovely thing to see.

There’s plenty of action and drama, intrigue and suspense to keep you turning pages. The only sad part of this book is that it ends. I can hardly wait for the next one. Definitely recommend.

This is book 3 in Featherstone's Apex Academy Capers series and should be read in series order. Featherstone delivers another well written paranormal romance. Dolly has come so far and while she's experienced hardship after hardship she keeps on attacking life with gusto! This book, while long won't feel that way when reading. This book gave me all the feels with amazing steamy chemistry, wonderful twist and turns and suspense and drama all of which will keep you turning page after page and staying up way past your bedtime! So much going on in this read it's hard to pick any one thing as a favorite! I loved all the character and world development and growth and am super excited for more!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.

In Prey We Trust is such a great addition to the Apex Academy Capers series! Not only does our bunny heroine Dolly get one hell of a character growth with some wonderful moments showing she has really started coming into her own, but all the other characters were just as entertaining to read about. Beyond that, we also get some incredibly steamy moments between her and her men that took this romance read to a whole new level! I am enjoying the story itself too, of course. This world is mesmerizing, and the continuous twists and turns throughout really keep readers on their toes with the main characters. All in all, an incredible read that has left me itching for the next book!

This is the perfect read for this cold wet weather, you can just cosy up in blankets ad not leave for hours!
After the explosion at the school everyone in Apex is sent to other pred schools around the world and Dolly is sent to the Capital, filled of even more rich entitled kids. But at least her guys and friends can go with her!
The Heathers continue to try and make her life miserable but Dolly is now stronger and her own person and she's ready to go on the attack and not defensive. More worrisome than the Heathers are the hooded figures that keep trying to get her but who are they? and why???

I am absolutely obsessed with this series! Dolly is one of my favorite FMCs. She gets knocked down but still gets up each time! Despite her past, she still has a hero’s heart. The hits, both literally and figuratively, keep coming in this thicccc book! We pick up a few weeks after the Apex Explosion and Dolly and her crew of misfits are heading to a new school, full of new enemies and dangers. Unfortunately, her bloodthirsty parents and OG bitch crew are still coming for her, as well as an army of hooded freaks, who may be using magic that hasn’t been seen in quite some time, a new group of mean girls, and she gets assigned to live in the Reptile dorm(a perfectly terrifying dorm for our bunny)Literally this story is a roller coaster of non-stop action, interspersed with lots of puns and some deliciously spicy scenes. My favorite thing, though is the relationships that continue to deepen in this book, between the main and side characters. Take a breath and dive in, you won’t regret getting lost in this fantabulous world that Cassandra Featherstone has created!

Oh. My. Word!!! Trust will see them through, but how can you trust anyone in this?
My head is still so flipping all over the place, that I can hardly straighten out my thoughts. I LOVED book 2 - this one has me anxiously waiting for the 4th LOL
Dolly and her misfit band of shifters are on new ground here. Besides a select number of trusted prey animals from Apex, they have no idea who can be trusted.
Events are fast-paced and the cliffhanger brutal. I was hooked from page 1 in this mammoth book.
I have to trust, that things will somehow end with an HEA once all is said and done. I'm so add1cted to this series. It had me both laughing and crying - it's got ALL the feels.

Another great book in the series!! These books are so long and I really love that because anything shorter and I feel like I need more! You can tell that the author really put a lot of effort into perfecting this series and it is obvious with the quality, the audiobook is wonderfully recorded as well. And when she says it’s steamy, it sure is, but it’s all very tasteful and goes with the storyline. I also loved the character progression in this book, and I’m hoping for more spinoff novels for some of the main-side-characters that we don’t get a lot of details about. Highly recommend this series!

I have this book an e-book and audiobook. I prefer the audiobook because it’s read to me and I can just sit there and lick my eyes closed, snuggled under a blanket and just let the narrator‘s voice draw me into the story and picture it in my imagination is become so vivid because it’s got a fantastic storyline and amazing world building and the characters are just amazing. This is book 3 and a series. I would recommend reading from book one and I am looking forward to book 4 if there is one and I would highly recommend this author’s book series, so please check it out.
The narrator did an amazing job

More Prey Queen Please!!!

Oh man Dolly is starting to come into her own in this one!!! She's leaning more on her bunny and starting to really become one with her....
but is she a normal bunny??.... Or something altogether different???
I'm seriously in a book hangover after that cliffhanger!!! I need more Prey Queen now please!!!
If you love alpha males who will do anything to save their mate and a snarky yet loveable bunny who can be just as vicious as her predator mates then this series totally for you!!!!

Cassandra does a great job with recaps, but if you need more of a refresher, go to the back and look at World Guide and pronunciation. I didn't realize there would be a book 4. So, as I was getting closer to the end I was starting to worry, but I should have known better. Dolly keeps unlocking more powers and the friends and her men become a strong family unit. I love the chosen family including Raina and her men. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds in book 4. Can't wait to see Renard's past either. Definitely 🔥 scenes.

This is the third book in the Apex Academy Capers series and I can’t get enough. Dolly is finally figuring out her bunny and is rocking it. There are all kinds of chaos going on this time around. School kids are being taken, mysterious hooded creeps trying to hurt Dolly, new school bullies to contend with and new dynamics with her guys. I adore these characters and this world. I crack up at the silly puns and nicknames they call each other. I look forward to reading the next book. I hope it’s soon.
