One of my deep dark secrets is my love of Sanrio but mediocre photos and haiku do not make a book. Devout Hello Kitty fans will love it.

Nice little book. Hello Kitty is great. Some of the photos are quite fun. The haikus could be better, but many are pretty functionally cute and nice—great for kids. The goal of being cute and friendly while teaching kids about the seasons, and a love of all different activities across those seasons I find nicely achieved. Any Hello Kitty fan will like this. And many others I think would too. Friendly stuff. Thanks, Guardian Kitty!

I freaked out a little when I saw this book at the library--a whole book of posed HK pictures?! Though I understand that Sanrio and haikus are both Japanese, I didn't really like the style of everything being in haiku. I went through the book a second time though just to look closely at the pictures.

Great for teaching students the different seasons. Really great illustrations I would use this book in a kindergarten class.
