Loyal was exactly like his name Loyal. Loyal meets Tyeis when she’s late picking her son up. Loyal becomes interested instantly. Tyeis did a lot of running 🤣. One thing a Graham man will do is love you with his whole heart. Loyal stepped up as a father figure to her son. Loyal went from no hoes having my heart to being madly in love.

This was a good, quick read! I like how Ty & Loyal’s relationship developed. And I loved how his family loved her and her son and welcomed them into their lives with open arms. Loyal was really that dude!!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Loyal and Tyeis had me a little stressed out in this book. Tyeis was on her “She’s a runner. She’s a track star” for the longest. Had me yelling at her through the book telling her to let that man love her. Loyal never hesitated to jump in when he was needed in Tyeis life. He didn’t play about his woman nor Orion. Once they got on the same page I love how Tyeis ain’t play about Loyal either. She was quick to check anyone who tried to talk down on him on belittle his accomplishments. I love how they were both attentive to each other’s needs. The connection between these two was so endearing.

Kami, Loyal is just my latest book bae and apparently when it comes to these Graham men I’m gonna love em all (Except Papa Truth😒 I’m still on the fence with him) Thank You for the opportunity to read your book in advance.

Kami!!!! I love Justice, but Loyalty…. whew! I had a feeling that he would be a bit complicated, however, he was beautifully complicated! You just giving us the one, two punch with the Graham brothers huh? I am here for every second of it. ❤

Loyalty, had that middle child syndrome, rebelling and wilding out trying to get attention from his dad. But it felt like it was more to it than that. Mannnn, there was so much more! Loyal was strong, resilient, and making his own way, until he lost his queen. His mother was the one he could always count on, gave him unwavering support, and unconditional love. When he lost that, he hid behind jokes, liquor, and women to shield his heart from the immense pain he held there. There was no more room for love, as his mother took it with her when she left him. 😥💔

Tyeis! Lawd, your parents were beyond trash sis! The way they treated you, berated you, and tossed you aside was shameful! 🤬 Although you were young, you knew you had to make a way for yourself and your son. For Tyeis the struggle was real, and I could almost feel the desperation in her thoughts and the way she moved, until……

When Loyal met Tyeis, something about her moved him, and he didn’t understand it. A chance meeting soon after, and Loyal just attached himself to Tyeis and wouldn’t let go. These Graham men are something else. I loved the patience (for the most part) that Loyal displayed with Tyeis while she got herself together. But when he had enough, he turned on the crazy, and got his woman! These two went hard for each other, and no one was safe from the wrath of mistreating either.

Papa Truth got me giving him the 👀 with his behavior, and things he was saying. Even after the revelations, I gave him an ounce of grace, but mostly disappointment. Cause sir really????? 😤 Thank God for Granny Lula! She held the family together with her Sunday dinners, tough love, and sharp tongue. 🤣

This set-up for Wisdom’s story got me intrigued, and terrified at the same time. I loved that he and Janae were getting to know each other on the low, without everyone in their business, as I figured they would. Then all the ish hit the fan at dinner. What the hell happened to Janae? KJ?? Did he make it, cause Wise beat that ass? Can’t wait to dive into the next story. Kami you got me in a chokehold ma’am! Eating up these stories like hot cornbread. 🤣 Great job! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Lolo and Ty💕

Bring me to tears why don’t you. My goodness. Just when I thought I had everything figured out with these two there’s more thrown into the mix. Ty and Lo were made to for one another and not just in love, but also in healing. They’d both experienced their fair share of trauma and disappointments, so I was happy when they decided to choose their happiness. Ty’s family was trash and I have no other words for them. Papa Truth and Lo needed that heart to heart because man…there was a lot to unpack. My only other qualm is not getting more of Lo’s relationship with Orion. We saw a little bit of it, but I wanted to really feel like they’d established a relationship. It didn’t take away from the story though.

Justin and Yani and Messiah and Yaya were still hilarious. I’m going to be waiting in the daylight with a flashlight for Wise and Janae. I have a feeling it’s going to bring me to my knees because what was revealed had my mouth wide open. Renegade sounds like he may have a story to tell as well and ya girl will be waiting.

Loyalty over everything

I gave it 4.5 but rounded up to 5 stars. The story was cute and i liked how the author explored multiple prosectives on love and grief. I loved Loyalty and Ty relationship, it was mature. I see that all the characters maybe getting spin-offs and I'm excited! Wise and Janea is who I'm looking forward too.

okay

The overall plot of this was interesting and the author told a compelling coming of age story of grief and love and growing up and accepting yourself without family approval. I think I struggled a bit with understanding the characters, Loyal and Tyeis, and their motivations. Loyal was a borderline alcoholic which was never properly addressed. Tyeis got a man and a dream job and I was thrilled for her but never quite felt like she fully came into her own in this book even though we were told she did. There was a large external group of characters of Graham family members and I liked their complex, messy family dynamic but I felt with all the banter, a little more seriousness was needed in some parts. This also needed some extra proofing/editing because there’s were a few typos and some of the transitions between scenes were awkward- for example- a scene with Tyeis’ son Orion would contain Ty and Loyalty exchanging some highly sexual banter which made you wondered where he was and hope he wasn’t around.

Overall, I thought this was a compelling read and I kept returning to it once I started. I’m new to this author’s work but would read more.

Star: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Spice: 🌶🌶

I have been loving fast paced books recently and this is one that can be added to that list. This story was beautiful and heart warming. I loved this story and everything about it. I loved how the story went from Tyeis pushing her feelings for Loyalty to the side into to them being so in love that their broken hearts healed each other. In ways they haven't thought was possible. I understand her need to keep her circle as close as possible. When you been hurt by the people you trust the most. You really can't trust anything one else. I'm glad she decided to trust Loyalty and given him a chance.

Tyeis Jessop

I loved Tyeis so much because she didn't let her pass get in the way of who she chose to become and moving forward to be. Something about seeing women who's families try and break them down and not letting get to you always makes me happy. Cause her parents and aunt can kiss ass for the way they treated her. Especially when see needed them most. They were trifling and ugly souls through and through. But enough of them. I'm happy that Ty got to start doing things she loved. Because through out the story we see as she healing she is healing others with her beautiful gift. I also loved her relationship with her son and just how close they were.

Loyalty Graham

Now I love me some Loyalty. I just wanna know were I can get me a man like him cause oh my gosh. He seen Tyeis once and was like she was not for me but his head and heart was like yup that's all me. Something about see a man that was in the street get star struck any one women. Ty was just it for him. I also liked how when pursuing Ty he also thought and included her son at all times. And seeing how harsh his relationship with his dad was to them slowly fixing it towards the end I love. Because relationships between a son and a dad should always be able to confine in each other.

Ps. I loved the part were that nasty ass man got them hits from Wise. He deserves some much more.

healthy love can help heal all wounds

Loyal was loud, uncouth, brash and gave it to you straight no chaser. I don’t think he knew what having a filter meant because it was nonexistent, probably got it from his granny Lula. He was a loving brother and cousin as well as a whole hoe in these streets and had no intention of changing. He was also a hothead with a troubled past that some people wouldn’t let him forget.

Tyeis was a sweet heart who became a single mother at very young age. She was judged and ridiculed for this by people who should have loved her unconditionally. She became a loner and didn’t trust or open herself up to nobody because all she ever got was judgment.

Two people who made some mistakes that they were moving past encounter each other. The interest of Loyal is peaked and Tyeis is running from his interest to protect her heart. Loyal has never been into a woman the way he’s into her.

This story is about how a man is and a woman getting and giving love and support properly. It has the ignant mouth and antics of Loyal, the blossoming of Tyeis amongst people who truly love and accept her, beautiful relationships amongst family and friends, a lot of laughter, drama and healing.

“It’s you and me forever. You know that?” “That’s right, Baby. Loyalty over everything.”

A good read!

idk what to say for

right before I found this book I said I needed a book where we get more cute moments after the couple gets together. i was so sick of seeing epilogue after the couple got together and got they happily ever after.

now ty and loyal ain't get happily ever after completely but they definitely got really happy after ty stopped running from ole boy. i was definitely shocked throughout the story and it definitely put me through the feels from happiness sadness laughter anger and definitely longing.

I'm just so glad that the love that they had for each other and their family helped them become the people that they needed to be for their kids and themselves.

all the moments that they had were so cute and I just want to say that they admitted to each other they loved each other before that little tent date but hey maybe my memory is bad

anyways this book was so good and soo freaking sweet. i wish we had gotten a wedding out of this but hey it whatever. and I definitely expecting the baby daddy to show up again but I'm glad that he didn't cause they deserved to continue being happy.

✨ New to me author ✨

I definitely read this series the wrong way round & started at the end , currently working my way back to the first book.

I think this is book 3or4 but so far although I love all the books, this one stood out to me because I love seeing the under dog coming out on top!

Loyalty “Daddy Lolo” Graham, a sweetheart, loud mouth ladies man, really dealt with the pressures of being the middle child & overcoming personal barriers which seemed to hold him back in some ways. His character development was amazing to read & I just loved how he developed into the very definition of his name. You know how the Grahams do 😉

Tyeis, a soft spot instantly for her as she was a single mother, who’s been doing it on her own for a while with no real support system. She was failed from a very young age and she was just SO deserving of all the good that Loyal brought to her. I just loved seeing her open up and find a new family that accepted her.

I will say F her trash family though. Wicked people 😢

Overall, this was a beautiful story, I love how faith was incorporated into this, how they healed through love & faith. The theme of loss is also heavy in this so please check TW.

Must read ✨

loyal 🥹😩

Now, if you been here before we knew Loyal was a bit of a fool but that man worse than Wisdom! I loved every second of it!

Kami honestly captured two souls who needed each other so well.

Loyal was everything! He saw his lady and said “it’s her. She mine and I’m not resting till I get her!” I love that he fought for her and didn’t let up! Do yo thing Lolo!!

Teyis my girl…I just wanna hug and squeeze you!! She deserved all that love that came at her! From Loyal to Ciyana (a friendship I didn’t know I needed!!!) to the whole Graham family. Her and her bby boy needed and deserved it! Orian just made my little heart melt 😩 raised right!

Thus series is awesome 👏 the Graham men are protective loyal and straight fools….his was written so well the secondary characters were written so well that they following their story didn’t outshine the main characters… Tyeis parents were twisted how you love the side piece baby more than your own then give your child to said side piece cause she fit your image but pastor set her straight now Loyal had that middle child syndrome but his dad planted that seed I was so disappointed in Truth but he was getting it together….the story made me laugh cry angry laugh and cry again ……now granny Lula dropped som jewels on the ladies job well done can wait for Wise /Janae

Loyal Graham and Tyeis Jessop

(The Graham Family Saga book 4)

I ❤️ this series so hard. At one point in this book, I sat it down, and I was like "who hurt you, Kami"??

These parental figures these ladies experienced were some of the worst I have ever read!

On a happier note 📝 when Loyal said: "I love you too. Understand that my love for you means that there’s nothing that I won’t do for you, and no battle I won’t fight on your behalf. You don’t have to go through anything by yourself. Let me be your armor,”....
😊 I. Was. Screaming!

Loyalty over Everything, I love that Loyal & Tyeis got their own story and found love! His grief & her distrust, omg her parents pissed me off! Shadir was a predatory. Loyal offered her love, assurance and was there for Orion!
Loyal and Granny Lula are foolish you hear me, I was cackling 😂🤣. Granny Lula’s wisdom and the church service scene were the most beautiful parts to me.
I want more of these two!

“You haven't even seen my crazy side, Love. I have never been in love before, so if I give you my heart, just know that I’ma act straight up stupid behind you. I believe in pop-ups. I don't care if you're at bible study with your Granny. I'ma tuck my Glock in my jeans and flip my bible right to Galatians. King James Version only, of course." Loyal ❤️🤣😂

Loyalty!!!!

Loyal is true to his name Loyalty. That man is Loyal to those he loves. Tyeis is a young single mother who has fallen on to hard times. Loyal wants her and to help her. She fights him at every turn. He finally catches her and they fall hard. The Graham Family loves her and Orion feom first meeting, that is a Blessing because her family is Straight Trash. Those are so cold hearted people, she is definitely better without them. I love this Graham Family especially Granny Lula. I love the update of the rest of the family, but I would like a update on Rule and his family. I have a feeling Wisdom and Janae story is next. I can't wait. Great Job Kami👏🏾

Good read

This was a great story! I loved Loyal and Tyeis! They both had so much pain and healing to go through. I loved how they were there for each other. I appreciate that Loyal didn’t give up on Tyeis when she was running from him. I love that he embraced her son! The relationship with the parents was crazy! I am was disappointed that there was no answer about Orion’s dad calling out the blue. Also, it was never said but what happened to Janae should have been said point blank. That affected everyone. This was my first time reading from this author looking forward to reading more. Would love to read Wise and Janae story.

AMAZING BOOK

Just went I thought the Graham family couldn’t get any better, Kami drops this book. I love Loyal so much he’s hilarious but also sweet. Tyeis is such a wonderful woman who got dealt a rough hand but she grew and became better because of it. I think Granny Lula is probably my favorite in the whole series though lol she’s wise and hilarious while still showing love. Papa Truth definitely disappointed me at first but by the end I was boo hooing and wanting to give him a hug. I can’t wait for the next book in this family series.

L.O.E

This is an amazing story. I laugh, cried and laughed again. I really enjoyed how this story touch on how there is no timeline on grief, you just learn to live with it. I also appreciate how Tyeis didn't let Truth think it was cool to judge her man off of pass mistakes. Although I want to line Tyeis mom, aunt, dad, sister and brother up for a family beat down. I'm glad she left them toxic folks alone "sometimes it be your own family". I can't wait for Wise story so we can find out about him and Janae and what happen with Ren.

5 star read

Whew lord. I laughed. I cried! I laughed some and then I cried some more. This was a great read and I love all the characters. The way the story was told it seems like there will be more books to follow Since it was alot of unanswered questions with the supporting characters. However the story of Ty and Lolo was a great one. That ending has my eyes red because I personally know how it feels to lose a mother and I’m still healing. So I felt that on so many levels. Job well done and I definitely recommend this book.

This was a great read emotional and funny. I didn't realize Truth and Loyal has such a strain relationship from reading the other stories. I'm glad Wise is home and can't wait to read more about him and Janae. I love how loyal loved Tyeis and I loved that he didn't judge her for her past. Her family was a mess. I look forward to hearing more about the Graham family in the future.

My Goodness

What a story. Got to dry my tears to do the review. I just love Loyal through and through. He was a real man raised by a real woman. Loved the way you wrote this. It flowed and it made sense. All the characters main and in he background were great together. Wish there was a wedding but the ending was still perfect.

Oh and it’s “the LOVE of money” not “money” is the root of all evil.

Happy Reading‼️

LOE

Mann I liked this was funny and it made me cry. To see the different family dynamics but to see how much both Loyal and Ty have in common was crazy. I just wish I knew to read about the others in a few books before. I think that would have let me in a little more on the family parts. It did not take away from story though. I see we definitely gonna need a Wise book especially with that Sunday dinner craziness. First time reading from this author and I am glad I did.

These Grahams

I’m loving the Graham! These men and women are a mess but this story had me shedding tears. The family dynamic in this story had many challenges; however Loyal refused to allow the noise to interrupt the direction he was taking. Then here comes Tyeis! Loyal had no idea what to do and his crazy cousins were giving him advice on the next steps but finally he got the woman he wanted. Let the fun begin!

Girl, Kami, you didn't have to do me like that!! The ending scene was BEAUTIFUL. Loyal and Tyeis were two souls that connected at the right time in their lives. This book reminds me of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. We definitely got to see the seasons of life throughout this book. Do yourself a favor and one-click!
