Perfection!

I love this grumpy x sunshine romcom! Honestly I wish I could visit Coal’s Lake to find me some of these men! Holy crow! I love the little moment between these characters! And the nods to some of my favorite indie authors is priceless! I was smiling through this whole story! Can’t wait to read more by Eliza Anne!

To say I thoroughly enjoyed this holiday novella is putting it mildly! The fact that Jules fought so hard to keep this situationship strictly about the smeggsy time, even with the intense chemistry, because of her past relationship, shows how strong she was and how much she wanted to try and protect herself. But sometimes…you just have to know when a good thing shows up at your door…to deliver that package! 😍😍

The plot fell a bit flat for me, the potential was there but it just didn’t really deliver (pun not intended). Crossed another one off the goodreads goal though, I guess.

The beginning and the ending were missing. The story starts with them already well into their situationship, as the heroine said. I thought that maybe we'd get their backstory in flashbacks or something, but no. There was only one sentence saying how her friend saw the hero in the coffee shop and she asked the barista about him and that was that. How did they actually meet? How did they get together? Why did they get together? How did they decide to only have friends with benefits situation? Nothing. But there were so many stupid details and too many scenes completely irrelevant to the romance. Very few scenes were actually them together. I didn't understand why they wanted each other, let alone why he wanted something more with her. Also, this wasn't grumpy/sunshine. She was an average woman who put up boundaries and wasn't overly cheery, which doesn't make her grumpy. And the hero was on the verge on being an asshole.

Sometimes, I'd read acknowledgments and it makes me wonder who these people are. Because, they supposedly read the book, and no one said anything. How did no one notice that this was an incomplete book, that it missed the beginning and the ending? I really don't understand.

I absolutely adored this delightful reverse grumpy/sunshine romantic comedy novella. This was my first read from Eliza Anne. I'm thrilled she was part of this Anthology, so I could experience her wonderful writing style! I'm definitely diving into her other books! "A Courier For Christmas" had me in stitches with its humor, fantastic banter, and undeniable chemistry—a perfect holiday novella!

Wow! This was an awesome quick Christmas novella! If you'd read anything by Eliza, you know that this is a totally different vibe she writes this time.

I absolutely love Jules and Samuel! Jules is a hard@$$ who has a lot of interior walls built up and only wants someone to fulfill her needs, no strings attached. Samuel is happy go lucky all the time, with a bright smile across his face too.

He feels that this is more than just s€xual tension, but he knows Jules won't have that. That is until this mysterious Christmas party brings the two of them together without notice and everything changes.

Eliza - please for all things holy, write more about the two of them! I'm going to NEED more and more of their sass and sexy time adventures!

Jules has it all, the new high powered job, apartment in a small Canadian town near Calgary, hot courier situationship to keep her warm at night… Samuel doesn’t want to be a part of his dad’s firm so he is a delivery driver and he frequently delivers packages (yes, I went there!) to Jules!!

This is a short, smutty, low-angst novella that is such an enjoyable read! I not only loved the EXCELLENT spice but also how Jules and Samuel’s relationship developed - especially when Jules realises he’s the boss’s son!!!! I loved how Jules was determined to keep Samuel at arm’s length but utterly fails when faced with the amazing golden retriever that is Samuel!!!! He is freaking amazing - particularly because he is actually pretty dominant in the sheets!!!!!

A short, smutty, low angst novella from Eliza Anne is just what I needed after her other books. And boy, did she deliver! It’s spicy from beginning to end, but I did love how their relationship developed. Jules was definitely not looking for someone to capture her heart, but Samuel burrowed his way in anyway. Sweet and attentive AND dominant and filthy. He was the best of both worlds.

This was a grumpy x sunshine novella. This was part of a collaboration/series with many other talented authors. It did not disappoint. Eliza Anne, my friend you have done it again! The little moments between the characters was perfection. The little cameos/nods to other Indie authors was incredible. Smutmas left me mind blown, and I couldn’t be happier. It was absolutely incredible. Eliza Anne, you don’t fail. You’re amazing! Jules and Samuel are amazing, and I love them! 12 days of Christmas? I only know 12 days of Smutmas, and on the 7th day of Smutmas, Eliza Anne didn’t disappoint.

Eliza delivered!!

Holy hotness, Eliza!!! This book is every bit swoony as it is spicy and I'm here for it all! Samuel and Jules are so dang cute, and their chemistry was off the charts, even if Jules tried denying it.

Even for a quick holiday novella, there is a great plot and storyline surrounding it. So much so that I found myself wanting to keep reading for more of them. It's all wrapped up in a perfectly holiday themed bow and was exactly what I needed. I absolutely recommend you give this book a read!

I absolutely loved this book! It was a mix of spice, secrets & a hidden identity (but not on purpose)

I loved every single thing about the book! This author writes great spice and great scenes to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Also the humor and banter in this book is priceless!

Listen, we all love a grumpy sunshine. Now flip it from what the “norm” is in that scenario, and if done right it’s such a hot dynamic. This delivered that for sure and Samuel was just so.. hot lol. On top of being so nice (weird when you normally love the jerks haha). Definitely enjoyed!

I wish there was a bit more before it ended! I thought it was funny that Jules was the grumpy one and not sunshine. I thought the addition of names of some of the other authors in the 12 Days of Smutmas and their book titles was cute!
