This can be read as a standalone but is better if books are read in order to get an understanding of other characters. This is book 6 of 7 of Untamed Hell fire’s MC series, with a HEA. Due to mature content and themes this book is recommended for readers aged 18+, this novel may contain triggers.
He fucked her sister on her birthday. There are just some things that you can’t come back from and that’s definitely in the top two and it ain’t number two.
I read this a while back. No, it didn't take me two months to read it, but I avoided reviewing it as who wants to add another 1 or 2 star review to their list.
I do remember that the H has sex with her sister because he isn't worthy, her mother and sister emotionally and financially torture her because they blame the dad's death on her when she was a child, she's raped but still a virgin. In other words, she's surrounded by trash.
We have been teased with Flame and Star’s story since the first book, and I've been so excited to get to it. And it was ok, but I was a little disappointed. This series storylines overlap so much that IMO it would be difficult to read them as standalones, so most everyone should know Flame and Star’s backstory by now, but I’ll spoiler the rest just in case.
This was crazy OTT, and I enjoyed it immensely. It was definitely longer than it needed to be, which brought the enjoyment down, but I still liked it. I am super pissed at the turn of events with the h's dad like the dude owes her his life, and he's basically turned his back on her for his abusive narcissistic wife. I'm looking forward to Hawk's book, and I think his mom definitely had something to do with Daisy hating him now.

Flame knew Star was meant to be his one and only, but with an eight year gap and Star still too young he pushed her away. Flame acted more with his libido then with his brain and continue to wave women in front of her face while trying to stay in the friend zone. It only pushed Star further away but his latest night out as friends with Star turned quite differently and hurt Star in a way she may never come back. Star decides to leave but not before one night with Flame and then she is in the wind. Flame realizes too late that he has lost Star, he is trying to find her and it takes almost a year before he does but he has no clue what Star has been up to and he is in for a big shock when he finally sees her face to face. Can he win back his heart or will he half to let her go?
Heartbreaking story. Star is like a breath of fresh air and then it is taken for her I thought out of all the heroines she is the strongest, she is a force to be reckoned with. Flame is a fool for doing what he did to Star knowing she was in love with him. His reasonings are understandable but he handled it in the wrong way. I really liked this couple once they worked through the tangled web that unfolds once they begin figuring out some of it. Great story.
This book was a bit better with the editing ,but still bad. And again, as so many have said, if you're setting it in the USA, why can't you research the language and the culture??? Baffles me. The stories have really good potential, I read most of them but it is hard. Also, why are the old timers old ladies so horrible???? I mean really.....
3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK or decent reads. ========================== Wow... no one is worth the sacrifice our heroine made. Father, mother, sister, hero, all pieces of shit. She would be better off alone raising the child away from them.
I fucking love this one. It was amazing. I can't wait to read the next one. The men of this MC just seem to keep fucking up with there woman. I love Untamed Hell Mc and I can't wait to read everything from this author.
Having read all the other books in the series thus far, I think was most excited to read about Star and Flame's story as their story is spread throughout the entire series. Trigger warning though as this one deals with sexual assault, cheating etc.
We get glimpses of how Star falls for Flame and all that he does to avoid his feelings for her as he feels that he is not worthy and too old for her (sigh...).
This is the book where there is a big improvement in the writing, story telling and completion of the overarching plots.
The club finds out who Hairy actually is and sets up Hawks book as well.
These books all follow a recipe of a club brother finding his old lady. He messes up big time. Both main characters have baggage of some sort. Grovel time and a happily ever after.
This was so bad! I honestly am not convinced a human actually wrote this, or if they did they clearly didn’t read or edit it. The story telling-horrendous The editing-didn’t exist although the note from author states it’s been re-edited. That’s more than worrisome if THIS was what was produced after the initial publishing needed fixing. The sex-lack luster, lacked thought or excitement
Literally the ONLY thing I liked about this story was that Star didn’t forgive her mom or sister but that’s a me issue. Past that she was a pathetic character, frankly every character was rather dull.
This author is definitely going into my ‘never again authors’. I don’t usually say this but just stop, if this was published as acceptable you really need to rethink your future in writing. Typically I can give you points for courage but that was so lazy and just, bad.
Ok so I understand her giving Flame another chance. I CAN'T believe here father she saves him and he ends up siding with the abusive daughter and mother. I'm surprised she talks to him at all, I wouldn't until he gets a clue.
These books could all be so much better with an editor. Sentence transitions story transitions wrong words missing words Sometimes the story is pretty confusing because it just needs an editor
I don't read trigger warnings because, well, I grew up in foster care and anyone who comes out of that system has seen/heard just about everything. For some reason though, I can't read true crime, but give me crazy ott fiction (that isn't pure smut/porn) and I'm all in.
This heroine suffered bigly. But she perservered awesomely, taking names and kicking ass.
One thing I think the author did right, was anyone who has read previous books in the series knew what happened to her, so it's not as big a shock. All the books overlap or are even in the same time frame, so there is a bit of repetitiveness, but somehow it works.
I just... I don't know how you can come back from this one. She went through so much and everyone failed her.
I think this is one of her better books for an organic journey to forgiveness. It definitely didn't seem as jarring as some of the others and you can sort of fill in the gaps yourself but damn... I just... Could not be me.
I think the thing that sold the forgiveness angle was her questioning whether she could handle seeing him move on with someone else because that's ultimately the question I would ask myself when it comes down to it. Can I get over it or not? Can I live with it if I walk away? And her answer was no... Mine would have been different but I also wouldn't have been tied to him with a child either...
The parents angle... Again ... WEIRD. I feel like this author has issues. There's always a weird parent twist at the end. Her father not showing up to her wedding after clearly favouring her over his other daughter and arguably his wife just doesn't make sense. It's not within character. It's a weird switch up. The whole family dynamic I don't think was done well because like, why was the older sister such a bitch? We're getting bad parenting vibes here. Dad's favourite is the younger one, mum feels obligated to give the older extra attention? Like it just... Doesn't really make sense with the later parts of the book. Then the dad kicks his eldest out without caring and is then financing her life like... What? No.
Just had to come back and edit because I remembered the AGE GAP ON YHIS ONE WAS LIKE WTF. 10 AND 18... WHAT. yeah no, gross. Grooming vibes. Can't look at it fondly.
This book could have been over 60% in. I literally skimmed several pages throughout the last 40%. The author kept having characters retell things to other characters over and over. She could have said we explained everything but no she has to tell the same stories again. I liked the MMC and the FMC. FMC was feisty but did let her mom and sister get away with too much. She started to annoy me some at the end because she kept saying she couldn’t forgive him but still loved him. MMC acted stupidly at the beginning and a lot of his actions contradicted each other. I do think he was redeemable even after the pain he caused. *spoilers* -Starr’s mom blaming her for her dad’s death made no sense and just wasn’t realistic -MMC sleeping with her sister on her birthday (they were still not together yet) was too much for her to stay friends with him after -a 10 and 18 yr old being best friends is just weird and a little disturbing -Starr fought 11yrs to get her dad back and he doesn’t go to her wedding because of the mom! That enraged me and went completely against the character the author portrayed him as. He tells her mom she isn’t his old lady because of how she treated Starr then a few months later he misses his daughter’s wedding because the mom isn’t invited. That storyline was not believable and was totally unnecessary. Overall, it was a good plot and I’m glad I read it but it’s definitely not one you’d read twice.
The same review for all the books in this series below. But in addition, the abuse to one of the side characters who gets her own story is too much. It involves a razor. Just unnecessary. And repetitive. Dialogue is repeated from different points of view and its the SAME dialogue. I’m reading what I just read again. How ridiculous. And the text for the voice message is repeated over and over.
————————————- So many issues with this book (and all the author’s books - I’ve read 5 so far).
The potential was there for a really great story. Strong heroine, troubled her. But what held this back from being a 4 star was:
1. Grammar and sentence structure issues. This books needs strong copy editing. 2. Plot is not well developed. So much potential, but it failed. 3. Continuity issues - character ages, timelines 4. Believability (however one spells hat) - no MC books is believable but this more so. Characters act in contrary ways that don’t make sense. There is a sort nice cluelessness to the characters which doesn’t make sense for an MC story based on the around 100 MC books I’ve read. I’m all for being different and unique in one’s writing, but the actions etc. don’t make sense separately or as a whole.
I’ll still read the others but where I would have bought this it remains a Kindle Unlimited.
Okay so I was actually enjoying this book. Well enjoying might not be the right word. But I was surviving this book more than the others.
Right up until Emma visits Flame at work. Then the whole “he’s my man” “no he’s my man” started. Like seriously? This just reduces all the female characters to idiots. Like the rest of the series.
I have no doubt there are women out there like that. Low EQ and act like teenagers but seriously. This many in one MC clubhouse? No.
And again. The dysfunctional families. This MC is so toxic they don’t need enemies. CPS needs to be called on all the parents, all brothers need to go to how to be brother classes, the women need how to grow up classes. It just ruined my happy surprise at liking this book.
Yes still in dire need of editing but that aside I got into this more because the main characters weren’t behaving like dicks.
The dad needs to kick the mum and sister to the curb. Why hang around trying to fix it. Surely everyone is not so dumb to not see the manipulation etc.
And yet again we have an MMC who screws his love interests sister. Man. These guys need to grow up and man up.

I wanted to read Star and Flame’s story right after book 1. And to be honest; I wanted to skip all of them just to get to this one - I didn’t, I read them all lol. But boy was the end result worth the wait.
This story, for me; was the most angst filled of them all. Star has loved this man forever and him in return…but because he’s an idiot man from an idiot MC, he had to f it alllll the way up before he got his head out of his butt.
I really loved these two but I feel like so much didn’t make sense - for example; Star risked her entire life and that of her child and over; to save her dad. It was her life’s mission. And then for her dad to take her mom’s side and not walk her down the aisle? I feel like that ruined the image I had of this father daughter relationship in my mind. The author kind of messed that one up. How do you make a father worthy of his daughter’s efforts in saving him, but then make him out to be such an idiot?
This was an unpleasant read. Maybe I next time I decide to read a MC book I’ll avoid this author as she tends to put all her FMC through hell while letting the MMC be whores and what nots. It’s the 21st century most women who are sane don’t retain feelings after being cheated on multiple times like that especially with their sister.
This story takes place as the same time as the previous books, and all the conflicts from the previous books are brought up again in this one.
Flame was 8 when Star was born and he instantly became "her person." They are BFF even with their age gap. When Star is 10, she and her dad (Bones) were shot while out riding. She survived. The dad is presumed dead, but the body wasn’t found. Star never believed he was dead. She thinks he was kidnapped alive and is being held somewhere. She spends her life finding out who took him, and where they're keeping him.
Her mother and her bitchy, mean girl older sister Emma use the dad's death as an excuse to abuse Star, saying she owes them because she "killed her dad." For example, her mother takes half her wages. The weird thing is, even after Star turned 18, and even after she moves out, she continues. There's no explanation why. It's not like Star feels guilty for killing her dad, she doesn't even think he's dead.
So, Star has a crush on Flame but never acts on it. Flame develops a crush on her, but he decides Star should leave the MC lifestyle, and he has to make her hate him enough to leave. It doesn't make any sense to me, because her uncle is now the MC Pres. Why would she leave the MC? She doesn’t like her mom, but there are other people there she does love. Well, whatever, Flame even has sex with her sister to end Star’s crush on him. (He also doesn't realize her sister is a mean girl, because Star never told anyone. That didn't make sense that she wouldn't tell her BFF.)
So, one day Flame and Star go out, since they haven’t hung out in a while because he’s being such a douche. But he leaves with a club whore (Ginger), leaving Star to find her own ride home. Star ends up being raped by a rival club member. She decides that since Flame left her defenseless, she really should leave the MC. She doesn’t trust the MC anymore.
A few weeks later, she spends the night with Flame once, informs the club President Axel that she was raped as a message to the club, and leaves town. Flame wakes up later that day to be told by Axel that she left town. Then they all watch the CCTV footage to confirm she was raped by the rival. Flame’s very distraught but doesn’t know how to find her.
Star has already IDed the guy who kidnapped her dad, a guy named Hairy (not Harry). Hairy is also the rapist. She intends to go to where Hairy lives and figure out where he’s keeping her dad. So, she moves to Illinois and stays there for over a year. I don’t know what the fuck she’s doing there, because the book never actually describes what she’s doing, or how this is helping her find her dad. The events of the previous books take place during this hiatus, so it gives the author the opportunity to rehash everything that’s already in the previous books. But nothing about what is happening in this book, which is supposed to be the search for her dad. However, she does have a secret baby (Theo). She doesn’t tell Flame. She intends to tell him once she finds her dad. But when will that be, like, 20 years from now? This didn’t make any sense.
One day, a couple from the previous book gets married, and Star tries to go to the wedding without Flame noticing her. But someone tells him she’s there, so he follows her home. Once home, Flame sees Star take a baby out of her car. Her reason for not telling him about Theo is because she didn’t trust him or the club, since she was attacked there. So, he gives her more time. He stays in town and has visitation with Theo, but doesn’t pressure Star for a relationship, for a few more months.
At this point, their baby is 5 months old, and Star has somehow figured out where her dad is being held, in an abandoned house. She intends to ask Flame for help to rescue her dad. But coincidently, Flame chooses that day to drug her and bring her back to the MC clubhouse, because he can’t live without her anymore.
When she wakes up, she’s mad but says he has years “to make up for,” which implies she’s going to let him make up for it, so there’s no angst. Then she tells him they need to turn the car around and save her dad from Hairy first.
When the club members arrive to help, she explains to them why Hairy shot and kidnapped her dad. Hairy’s mom was caught cheating and claimed Star’s dad was the affair partner, even though he wasn’t, to protect the actual guy. Hairy’s father killed Hairy’s mother for cheating, and Hairy blamed Star’s dad, the wrongfully accused man, for his mother’s death.
And remember Ginger, the club whore Flame left the friend date with? She had arranged with Hairy to get Flame to leave Star alone, so Ginger is a traitor, too. Star says Ginger is the real reason she didn’t tell Flame about the baby, because Ginger is obsessed with Flame and would have hurt their son.
When they get back to the MC, her evil mom and evil sister are there to greet her dad, and Flame has his parents there, so Star decides to pack up her son and leave them. I guess she was lying when she said she would let Flame make up for the past.
Flame tells the MC brothers, including Star’s dad (Bones) everything that really happened. And I mean he tells him in the exact same wording Star told him, back when she asked for him to help her rescue her dad, so it’s almost a whole chapter repeated word for word. Then they all show up at Star’s new place soon after to win her back. She goes with them easily, no real angst.
The MC puts Hairy and Ginger in the torture room and kills them.

****************************************************************************** Summary: The FMC and MMC have been friends since childhood. The FMC has had a crush on the MMC and he fell for her when she was 16 years old. The MMC feels as if the FMC deserves better than him and his lifestyle-so he sleeps with her sister and so many others. This goes on for years until a tragic event happens and the FMC leaves.
Disclaimer: This is book six in the Untamed Hell Fire’s MC Series. Last year I read Hawk, which is book seven in this series. At that time I rated Hawk as two stars. Having joined a few mc lovers Facebook groups I found that this author is a favorite. I decided to reread Hawk but to read it in the order of the series. Having done that I changed my rating to three stars. Although the books state they can be read as standalones I find that reading them in order helps for a better experience as the book characters cross over in each book. If you are a fan of mc books and are looking for a quick read in which you know that they are going to have an HEA this is the series for you.
Review: I really felt for the FMC and to be honest I am not sure I could forgive the MMC. I am not big on books where the MMC has repeatedly slept with a relative or friend. The writing is great in this book. You really want the FMC to get justice and just maybe here justice includes forgiving the MMC. However, I still am upset with her father---the FMC deserved better.

Unfortunately this was a disappointment as I was looking forward to this one the most. The book was all over the place and had plot holes everywhere. Also, how are a 10 yr old and 18 yr old best friends? I'm sorry that's just weird. At first I thought it was just them satisfying a little girl's happiness, but no they're serious about the best friend relationship which has me asking questions. Anyways, Star was all right. She's blamed and abused for her father's "death" by her mom and sis. Which these adults are idiots. Blaming your child when you know it's not? Her sister is the town sleaze who Zayne aka Flame sleeps with twice to distance himself from Star because she's caught feelings when she's 16. Her sister had the clap 🙃. Yeah, he's an idiot. Honestly the first generation MC men really need to reclaim the club back. The new generation are morons. Something that completely doesn't make sense is Star collecting all this info on her dad's whereabouts after his kidnapping. Like why not tell the club right away with all the video evidence? If the club got involved they could have found him. Saved Star from getting raped etc. It was just a whole lot of miscommunication and idiocy that made for a weak plot. I wasn't even entertained and that's a first with reading this author's work. I mean she even had video evidence of Hairy's mom assaulting Snake's father from this author's next MC series. It's all there. I don't know. An I the one that's dense? 🤭 And Ginger... I really wanted to see her evilness come out and she was so anticlimactic it wasn't even funny. And Clitter is still walking around. 🤷
Overall this was ok. Was expecting more of a bang, but that didn't happen. Flame was mellow compared to heroes prior.
Safety: Flame's time with Ginger and Star's sister is on page. Star's raped anally and it's detailed so be aware.

I tried to finish it I really did but, I just couldn't do it. This "author" is horrible. I don't want to be mean but she can't seem to form proper sentences and would benefit greatly from some creative writing classes, editing and beta readers. Her stories have no timeline. For example, In this book the h, Star, gives birth, accepts a phone call and is discharged within 2 paragraphs. Really? If only childbirth was that quick and tidy 🙄 Unfortunately, it's like that in every story I've tried to read of hers. The dialogs and monologs are cringy as well! Who talks like this??? Several times I had to reread just to try and figure out what she was going for.
It's also very very apparent she knows nothing about American culture or MCs. Not sure how it's done over in the Uk but, we don't go around oversharing peoples private business such as R-A-P-E. Star letting it be known she was "raped anally" over and over again and then the H decided he was going to share her private business with others. Seriously, how many times does it need to be casually said that she was "raped anally"? This is one of those stories where rape was not written well at all and tbh, it was horrifying the way the writer went about it.
There's also this gem. As someone who loves riding I took offense to this... "She hasn't stepped foot on a bike since her dad was taken" 🤦🏼♀️
Anyways, that's my rant on this particular book and author. I've attempted to read Snake, Smokey and Hawke hoping the writing would improve. It did not friends. It did not 😏
I know it's my fault cuz I didn't read the series from the beginning, but there are so many ppl and so many other storylines mentioned in these books that I can't keep track of who's who. Flame was so awful, sleeping with Star's sister on purpose knowing Star has a crush and wanting to push her away. I get this is an MC, and they're all manwhores, but siblings are always off limits. There were a lot of inconsistencies in this story, and I hate that Star blames Flame and the club for her being raped. The only person to blame for the rape is the person who did it. Well and Ginger who helped Hairy get access to Star, but Star is letting Hairy off the hook when he's the one who actually raped her, and that's wrong and gross. I think the most disappointing thing in this book is Star believed her father was alive for all these years, and she was the only one who kept looking for him, found him, and she's the reason he was saved and brought back to the MC, but she tells him to go to therapy with her awful mother. Then her father actually starts treating her badly, not as bad as her mother and sister, but for all she's done for him, he should tell the mother and sister where to go.
I gotta say at this stage have you ever met a more stupid set of bikers? They're all idiots!
Stars mother esp how she is still getting away with shit i dont know, very annoying.
Only issue i had notwithstanding the spelling and confusing conscience with consciousness and misgivings rather than i presume she means misdeeds and which mean two very different things.
The painting scene is plain silly. I'm not sure what medium she's painting in, but I doubt its watercolour which dries the fastest but still not that fast. Painting THAT many paintings in 3 hours is silly and unrealistic, then taking said paints and giving them to people immediately after, even worse, they wouldn't have dried for a starter, they would easily get marked etc it was all stupid and I had to suspend my disbelief.
Some things this author gets really right, whilst others honestly its like a teenager. I dont know if its inexperience or what but it let's down, what is otherwise a great book

TW: FMC is 🍇 badly (not by MMC). No warnings are given, so be prepared. It also talks about other characters and their traumas. Tropes: best friends->lovers
So while this storyline is good and makes me want to read the others (I started with this book), it needs a LOT of work. Grammar is terrible in a lot of places and at one point I questioned if it was a translated version, then decided it couldn’t be because some parts were just better than others. I felt that so much of this story was just repeated (ie. How many times do we have to hear it explained the order of events? Flames pushed Star away, Star did this, Star got 🍇, Star ran away). I appreciated the years going by making Flame grovel for what he had done. I wouldn’t say there was cheating since they were not together, but be warned- Flame does have lots of fun time with other women and shoves it in Star’s face, knowing they both love each other. It’s a classic, he’s an idiot that you want to walk away from, to a devoted and loving bf/husband. If this book (and I could only assume the whole series is the same) could go through a good editor, you’d have a fabulous book/series.
The story itself was excellent. I enjoyed the character development, and there was a good amount of angst. I've read several books from this author, and they're always entertaining. I do have some problems that seem to be a theme in all her stories (that I've read so far). Tenses and punctuation aren't great, which can make it hard to get through. She also repeats things A LOT. Pages of one character explaining a scenario with the following chapter doing the same thing (with exact same wording) from another POV. This happens over and over again throughout all the books I've read from this author. Lastly, the author spends a ton of time explaining scenarios/relationships from other books. I know this is done to help readers connect with side characters and understand different subplots better, but it wasn't necessary. If all the extra writing was removed, this would be a solid 5 star novella with about 160 pages.
I have been waiting to read Flame & Star’s story since the Axel & Annalise’s book & wooooow I was not disappointed. Not going to spoil it for others but boy did I get a few good shocks! My heart was hurting with Flame everytime he got that damn voicemail but after everything, he more than deserved to suffer for what he put poor Starfish through. But like always, I’m a sucker for a happy ending, and I was cheering for them from the very beginning. Sad to know its ending soon, will we get next gen Hell Fire’s? Also I have to say when the heck are they gunna kick those damn sweet butts out? They really are more trouble than they’re worth lol
And another thing I’ve noticed and appreciated is that these big men aren’t afraid to cry in front of their people, it makes me happy to know they let their tears free no matter who is around.
Anyways on to Hawk & Daisy, bitter sweet getting to the end.
The vindictive OW and prolonged groveling in this book really worked for me. I have trouble with MC contexts as it's hard to condone violence and mysogeny. The H flaunts his women and intimacy with her sister in the h's face to drive her away because he thinks she deserves better. Ten year old h and her father are shot at while on a motorcycle. The h believes her father is still alive and is being held. For ten years she has been hacking computers and to track the attacker, a member of a rival gang. For ten years her mother and older sister have blamed the h for what they believe was her father's death. They stole her inheritance from her and emotionally abused her. The h gets brutal revenge but still gives herself the right to bring up the H's misdeeds during fights and to not forgive her mother who continues to do hurtful things. This is the sixth book in the series but it worked as a stand alone.
