Gemma Moretti is the second oldest daughter of the Moretti Mafia Family. Viktor Levin is a Russian mafia boss out of New York City. He wants to make a deal with Marco and Franco so that he can have more power. Viktor made his first debut to the series in Ruthless Union when he approached Emilia at club where and Gemma were at after they snook out of the house when Emilia came for a visit. Viktor was attracted to Gemma from the first time he saw her dancing on the dance floor until Emilia told him that she was only sixteen years old. It was then that he told Emilia to give Marco a message that he wants to work with him. When Marco refused to work with him even after he kill and decapitated his housekeeper and shot his wife he knew he had to come up with an alternative plan. For two years he plotted and plan and how he was going to manipulate Marco into making a deal with him, by learning everything about the Moretti family. So on the day of Gemma's party he and his men came in guns and hold everyone hostage.
Gemma was not interested in any of the men that showed up wanting to be her future spouse, and got up on stage informing everyone that she was not interested and that they can go home. It wasn't until she ran into a handsome man in the hall that she was drawn to who came to her rescue after Franco accost her for her little stunt on stage. She He had come for Gemma and kidnapped her as his bargaining chip against Marco. Viktor is a handsome, violence psychotic, unhinged, sociopath, homicidal maniac madman. He likes to live in the now and on the edge never planning out his actions instead just acts on impulse. He's derange unpredictable and chaotic and leaves trail of bullets and blood in his wake wherever he goes. Viktor plan in abducting Gemma started out as his bargaining chip but the more time that they spend together going back and fourth and her snark he started to like her. She made him laugh and have fun something that he doesn't do. He started thinking that even if he didn't get the deal at least he had her.
He knew that if he forced her to be his wife that he will be a part of the family and they didn't have a choice but to cut a deal with him. Once he marry her and takes her virginity Viktor opens up her dark side. She realized that she likes his craziness and that it turned her on. She didn't know if they were toxic or crazy. But one thing they knew, is that they were perfect for each other and understand each other like no one ever had before. She wanted adventure in her life. He promised her that everyday with him would be an adventure which he kept from a shootout and bloody wedding clothes before their wedding, to a high speed chase, Russian roulette during sex and having sex in public on the top of the hood after a chase and killing a cop. After while Gemma realized that his violence had stop bothering her, and she wondered if something was wrong with her. The chemistry between them is erotic, scorching hot, smutty, orgasmic, electrifying, and magnetic. The longer they spent together they started to fall in love with each other.
Marco was ready to make a deal with Viktor in order to get Gemma back but Franco refused stating that she was a lost cost. He doesn't like her and couldn't care less if she came back home. Even though her mom his devastated and cries everyday over her child which makes him mad. He acts as if the Moretti empire belongs to him oh I wish Ms. Ivy hurry up and kills him off the series. Viktor was the only person that accepted Gemma the way she was and did not tried to change her something that her family has done her entire life. Her mom constantly scold her for being the way she is and they fight daily. Falling in love with Gemma has brought Viktor to his knees and once he sent her home he lost his will to live because she wasn't in his live. Gemma was willing to put her life on the line to save her husband from dying at the hands of her brother-in-law and Franco. I thoroughly enjoyed this book better than the first one and will definitely re-read it. My only constant distaste is Franco there's nothing that author can do that will be me happy but to kill him. I definitely don't like how these books does not have an epilogue.

Another magnificent addition to the Union Series. Brilliantly written with a wonderful cast of characters which makes this book a great page turner. It has drama, action, as well as some thrills and steamy spicy romance which has a happily ever after ending.
A young mafia woman is kidnapped by the Bratva boss so at first to be a bargaining chip that her can use against the woman’s brother in law so he can get into business with him so he can get power but the brother in law who is a mafia boss from Los Angeles refuses due to the fact that the Bratva boss is unpredictable and also because the Bratva boss is a loose cannon that likes to kills people.
During the time after the Bratva boss kidnaps the woman he locks her up, she gets hurt and he locks her up for a second time, he arranges a meeting with Los Angeles mafia boss as well as the mafia boss at the time of New York due it’s her uncle even though the two refuse to him terms, the Los Angeles mafia boss sends men to kill him even though he kills the men, the woman tries to escape and also tries to kill him and he decides to marry the woman to get her family to do business with him but before the wedding he killed a biker gang and the New York mafia bosses men but the New York mafia boss escaped.
When they went home he took the body of one of the men with them. The newlyweds talked, ate and the bratva boss gave her oral sex next to the dead man which he put on the dining room table. They wound up going to his bedroom which became their bedroom where they had sex before falling asleep. At this point the two are getting closer. The Bratva boss even thought that he may be falling in love with his new wife but he didn’t know what love felt like so he wasn't sure, the woman only thought that she felt the way she did due to the fact that she was starting to care for him.
They couple started getting real close. They had sex alot, they even started telling each other things about them like stories of their childhood even though the Bratva boss didn’t share much. The Bratva boss took her out to have fun but even though they were having fun her family showed up where they were at and her uncle, who is the mafia boss of New York started shooting at them. During the shooting the woman got hurt so the Bratva boss had to run with her in his arms, he took her home before he called the doctor. At this time he figured out that he was in love with the woman and since he loved her he wanted her to be safe so after the doctor tended to her even though they had to take her to his office he decided that he was going to let her go back to her family. They had one last night of sex together before the next morning he took her and the clothes that he got her home to her family's house, they told each other that they would see each other again even though neither one believed it.
It’s been a week since the Bratva boss dropped her off, she was trying to go back to the way things were before she was kidnapped but she kept thinking about her husband, she tried to talk to her mother several times about what she wanted but her mother wouldn’t listen so she kept everything to herself for the time being. The Bratva boss during the week started drinking heavily and while he was at one of his bars the Los Angeles mafia boss found him as well as the New York mafia boss, the two men argued about what was going to happen to the Bratva boss but the Los Angeles mafia boss took him to his home in Los Angeles.
The Uncle went home and informed the woman that they had her husband and that they were going to torture and kill him. The woman pleaded with him not to do it but he wouldn’t listen so the woman was going to follow the uncle to Los Angeles to get her husband but before she left she talked to her mother.
When she got to Los Angeles she found all three men at the Los Angeles mafia boss’s home in the basement. Her husband was bleeding badly and was chained to a pipe. The two men that were her family tried to stop her but she would back down. She protected her husband even with her uncle pulling out his gun but before long her brother in law agreed to do business with her husband and the uncle soon followed even though he didn’t want to but they came upon an agreement. The woman told the two men that she was in love with her husband. Her husband was hurt so badly that he stopped breathing so her brother in law called for an ambulance.
The woman wouldn’t leave her husband’s side. Her sister came and her husband woke up. The couple talked for a bit, they told one other that they loved each other. The brother in law as well as the uncle came to the hospital and they all talked even though the uncle still didn’t like it he agreed to everything.
When they got back to New York they had dinner at her family’s house. Even though her husband did some bad things to the family he was still welcomed. When they got back to their home as soon as they got into the door they started kissing and before long they were having sex against the wall before they went up to their bedroom for round number two.

I am shocked that I liked Twisted Union more than I did Ruthless Union in The Moretti Mafia Series by Ivy Davis. This was one crazy read that was as fun as it was entertaining. Ivy delivered an original plot that was intriguing with plenty of action and intimate scenes. Viktor and Gemma were honestly perfectly matched. Yes, Viktor was a psychopath and the anti-hero of the story, but I just could not help loving him. Gemma was a little brat with sass who stuck up for herself and fought Viktor to gain her freedom. These two shared an intense and powerful chemistry that drew them together like magnets making their intimate scenes super spicy and extremely hot! This is a series that is interconnected and all of the characters will be part of one another's stories. The books should be read in order.

Viktor is a psychopath who did some pretty horrible stuff in Ruthless Union. He kidnaps Gemma in order to use her as a pawn in his plan to force her brother-in-law and uncle to work with him so that he can gain more power. Viktor has been trying for some time to accomplish his goal to no avail so he figures this is the perfect plan to force their hands. Gemma wants no part of this and attempts to escape, but Viktor stops her every time. She wants to see her family. However, Viktor cannot allow this because it will certainly end with his death. Viktor has another surprise for Gemma - she is to become his wife. The more time Viktor and Gemma spend together they discover there is more to their relationship and they begin to develop genuine feelings for one another. What will happen if they catch Viktor? Is it possible that Gemma will be able to find a happily ever after with Viktor? Most importantly - will her family ever accept Viktor as her husband?

Part of The Moretti Mafia series each can be read as standalone with an overprotective mafia man and the girl who decides he wants so hang on and double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Victor sexy as all get out tad bit crazy ….okay he is a whole lot of unhinged, he is ruthless, has no fear in fact he is the one that other’s fear, deadly every day and decides to take who he wants to get what he wants despite the cost. Gemma is sweet, feisty, a little stubborn when she wants to be her mother, her ruthless uncle decided to throw a party for her to pick a man to marry since she is of age now and when the crazy man comes in threatening her family kidnapping her to save her family not realizing fate has stepped in ensuring the two unlikely people end up together but not without going through every twist and turn possible all while the attraction between them grows the magnetic pull between them continues to grow stronger but it all comes to a head with her knowing the truth about his feelings for her, him knowing her feeling for her, are they willing to be honest with one another despite their beginning, and where are they headed happiness?

What I liked- the exciting, intense love. The way they accepted each other. The story focused on the relationship between the two main characters rather than on the crime families, and I liked that. Viktor is crazy. As someone who lives slightly south of Sanity myself, I can appreciate that he sees the world in a way that is different than the norm, and I’m down with that. (I’m not down with his murder-y impulses, but it’s fiction, and you do you, Viktor).
What I didn’t- Does it make someone a bad person if they hate Franco with the heat of a thousand suns? Asking for a friend….
Verdict- this book will never bore you.

This is second story in The Moretti Mafia Series where we see Viktor the villain from the first story appear only to cause more death, destruction, kidnapping and pain for the Moretti family. When Gemma turns 18 it’s her turn to step up and marry so her mother and ruthless Uncle throw a party giving Gemma a choice if suitors. Well Gemma is stubborn refusing to continue with the party only to be involved in Viktor coming in at gunpoint causing mayhem and Gemma walking away with him to protect her family. There is a darkness about Viktor that we learn about and when he changes his plan they end up married and their growing attraction towards each other intensifies to a tipping point of mutual feelings neither know what to do about. Their crazy adventure finds them causing death, Viktor showing no concern for his actions and pure psychopathy way of living! When Viktor makes a decision about his life input changes everything and Gemma becomes a part of it. What a twisted story full of emotions, death, family and love! Viktor and Gemma are a perfect couple. They can be insane, unhinged and free together. We met Viktor in book 1. He is the psychopath whonis know for beheading people. He wants to pair up with Marco. Having failed to get his way in the first book, he kidnaps Gemma to use as a bargaining chip.

Being with Gemma unleashes feeling in both Viktor and Gemma. Viktor allows his feelings for Gemma to show but only to her. These new feelings confuse him. As he reveals himself we learn he is a bit psycho but does have a heart when it comes to Gemma. He accepts Gemma for who she is and what she needs. Gemma learns to love someone with all her heart and stand up to her family.

Their romance grows so does the crazy. The story grows as their relationship. Crazy, steamy fun that kept me turning the pages to get to Gemma and Viktor's happily ever after.

Gemma has just turned eighteen and is old enough to get married in the mafia world. Her mother is allowing her to choose and has a party with all the eligible mafia men. It will be arranged but with the man she chooses. She doesn't want to get married at all. The chose though is taken away from her when the Russian mafia comes calling and Viktor Levin has decided he wants Gemma. To him it is a business deal. This will make her Uncle Franco and her sister's husband, Marco work with him. He is a psychopath and will kill at the drop of hat. What will he do with Gemma? When he threatens to kill her siblings, Gemma decides to go along with him until she can figure out a way to escape. Will she be able to do it? What will happen if he forces her to marry him? He is crazy. She wanted an adventure in her life but is this a bit much? Good mafia read.

My sister Emaline Aldi warned me about Viktor Levin, he's a very dangerous man and now he's set his eyes on me. Gemma Moretti has just turned eighteen now and it's her responsibility to marry for the good of the Moretti crime family. We met Victor in the first story, he's nothing but death and destruction in his in his attempt to work with Marco Aldi, Gemma's brother-in-law. Viktor's a walking, talking psychopathy on a mission, but he soon finds Gemma is not exactly what he expected. She's beautiful, willful and very opinionated and not afraid to voice her opinion. She's not afraid to stand up to him and he likes her feisty attitude. What's the best way to form an alliance, marriage. A captivating story as these two as their attraction continues to grow. Will Vicktor end up murder her or will his kind of love be enough to bring them together? I loved this dark twisted mafia romance. Gemma’s turn to get married now that her older sister already fulfilled her obligation. Gemma wants nothing to do with getting married and is a little brat about everything. Things have been happening that she is unaware of and believes everyone is against her. When she is kidnapped from her birthday party by Viktor, she is forced to marry him – all Viktor wants is to work with her uncle and brother-in-law and neither one of them wants to work with him because he is a psychopath! But what happens when the feelings start to get real? And who is after Gemma and Viktor trying to kill them? Will Viktor be able to protect her and keep her safe, or will he have to give her up?

Betrayal, suspense, danger, mystery, secrets, complications, all types of abuse, loyalty and possessiveness are plenty. Great story and I look forward to the next book in this series.

From the get go the author had me hooked in the relationship between Gemma and Victor. I loved that both characters were strong and they fed off each other and I especially loved the humour running through it. Victor is all about violence and mayhem as it feeds a need in him. Gemma is determined never to marry and be subservient to a husband. She wants to live her life the way she wants. Victor kidnaps Gemma as a bargaining chip to make Franco and Marco make a deal with him as he wants to be powerful like them which we find out in #1 of the series. Victor likes Gemma feistiness and even though Victor's 'craziness' frightens her at times she can't help fall for the man that lets her be herself. Can they be together with all that has happened or will the family rip Gemma out of his clutches and kill Victor once and for all.

Unexpected Pair but Works Perfectly

This second book in this series is amazing! Gemma is the outspoken Rebel of the Moretti family and when she draws the attention of Viktor the head of the Russian mafia there is nothing but drama, angst, danger, and passion! Gemma loves her family and will do anything to protect them which is why she agrees to go with Viktor instead of endangering her siblings. However, the more time she spends with him the more she gets to be herself and he accepts everything about her and it is beautiful. But her brother in law and uncle want him dead and Viktor has to figure out how to stay alive and keep his woman. Their story is intense and at times hilarious. This book will have you laughing, crying, and rejoicing by the conclusion of their tale. Happy Reading!!

this book was fine but i felt off. it started with gemma having a party to find a suited and victor came in and kidnapped her. i felt the lack of attempts and attempts to rescue her were bad. i also though the chemistry was off. the smut scenes were good but if felt like gemma gave in quick and it felt like victor did the bare minimum and won her over with his jokes??? idk! the try on scene was gooood! i thought the going to the carnival but have to leave scene was bad and also the third act breakup. this book could have been better with more bodyguards and more harsh treatment from the mmc. i felt they fell in love too quick. also the sudden idea to marry each other was fine but gemma didn’t have to give in so easily. prob would not read again.

I've said it many a times that I like psycho men not just in books but in real life. So I don't take issue with Viktor. I actually quite like his psychotic ways. I take issue with Gemma. She claims her sisters are best friend but she falls through the man that shot her sister and beat up her brother as well as your brother-in-law. So as much as I like him I do not like her I feel like she has no family loyalty. I also take issue with gemma's Mom. When Gemma says that she cares for him her mom gets angry saying that he forced her into marriage. Yet her own mother was in the process of forcing her into marriage

I really enjoyed this book. To be honest I did not like Viktor at all in the beginning, I thought he was a very twisted man. Only when he took Gemma it was just to get his way. Only he underestimated her and she gave him a run for his money. Gemma kept him in line and on his toes. I didn’t like some of the things Viktor did during this book. I thought he might have been caught but he didn’t. I’m glad they found their way together and that Viktor got a little bit of his own medicine at the end. It was an exciting read, it was a fast paced read, I did think somethings were a little over the top, but over all it was enjoyable.

Okay, I will be the first to say I loved Viktor in book 1, but I love an unhinged psycho. I will also be the first to say I hate Gemma in book 1. I can handle spoiled h, but I can not handle a bratty, combative, whiney h. In Twisted Union, Viktor and Gemma are explosive in the best way possible. The way Viktor loves Gemma and the way Gemma tries her hardest to not love Viktor is the sweetest and the most twisted love story. One of the best books I have read in months.

I have to say if you don't like dark twisted books With graphic depictions of death then Pass this one right on by! Because There is A LOT of it And Viktor seems to enjoy every moment of it. He kidnaps Gemma @ her 18th birthday party at gunpoint to use as a weapon to get more power.
If you read the first book Viktor's character shouldn't shock you at all or all the death in his book.
However his complete walking the straight and narrow at the end was a tough sale..But he did fall in love with Gemma and love makes you do funny things right?
I did like the book given all that but it most certainly Is Not for everyone!!

Viktor wanted more power for his bratva and after failing to get that with Marco and Emilia he sets his sights on Emilias sister Gemma but in taking her and making her his bride, neither could expect the feelings that would develop, and the loyalties that would be tested. Viktor is a true psycho in himself and when it comes to Gemma nothing can stop him, but will love change him? Or her? Well written this dark, captive, twisting story has you hooked!
I Would have liked some more chapters from Viktors pov as he only has 5 out of 20.

It's Gemma's time to be matched with a husband but she never "saw" the unexpected the surprise of Viktor Levin showing up in her life and kidnapping her. Gemma is feisty and she might be more of a handful than Viktor had ever imagined. I mean, she's a mere slip of a girl and Viktor is a ruthless Don of his own Bratva and one that I didn't really like in the previous story. However, what a difference a book makes, and I came to where I really liked him, allot. When Viktor announces that Gemma is to become his wife, then we really see what a power couple these two become.

Awful read

I don't even know what to say about this book. The MMC was a true sociopath killed animals and thought nothing of killing people women it didn't matter. At first I thought the author was trying to be humorous. MMC was totally unredeemable. He kidnapped the MFC and made her strip he was a sociopathic pervert. I did not like the MFC either her emotions were strange also. This is the first book I've ever read that I couldn't stand either one of the main characters. I just scrolled to the end hoping it would get better. I don't think I'll be reading anything from this author again and I definitely would not recommend this book.

This is the second book of the Moretti Mafia series and will have you turning the pages to see what happens to Gemma and Viktor. Viktor wants more power in New York City and wants to join forces with the Moretti Mafia. He comes up with the idea of kidnapping Gemma and using her as a bargaining chip. Will his plan work or does it backfire on him? Will Gemma be able to get away from Viktor and go back to her family?.

Mafia - Lowkey Kidnapping - Cutest Psycho

VIKTOR 🥺😍 Gawsh I love his energy. He was the villain in book 1 and when I saw he was the love interest in this one I swooned. He is choas wrapped in cute packaging. Within the first pages, he stepped in with a machine gun and ready to do what ever it took to close a deal.

Gemma finally turning 18 wasn't looking forward to getting married. She wanted adventure and she got it with Viktor. They are the perfect reflection of each other and bring the balance and love they both needed.

I was dying to meet Viktor after reading the first book. From the very first chapter I was hocked up with this book and enjoyed every part of the intense romance between the main leads.

The author has really taken it really well with all the characterization and the dialogues that each character convey to the audience.

Especially I loved how the author took Gemma's character from being a brat to becoming highly mature. Also this is a treat for all Mafia romance lovers.

As always this author has taken us on another intense, dark journey with Gemma and Viktor. It starts out as business but Viktor Levin soon finds that Gemma is exactly what his dark, twisted soul needs. Twisted Union definitely has an abundance of action, chaos, danger, surprises, twists and turns and there's absolutely never a dull moment. This story will keep you gripping the edge of your seat to the last page.

Victor takes Gemma to force her family's hand into joining forces with him. The rebellious Gemma finds a soulmate in Victor, even though he's a psycho killer with a penchant for decapitation to get his point across.

I enjoyed this book even though it's not really an arranged marriage. This twisted tale is well written.
There's lots of action and plenty of plot twists to keep your attention.

Twisted union has your regular angst going on. Gemma is not too keen on getting married to a man she doesn't really know. She is taken to force her family into a deal but the more she is around Viktor the more her guard comes down and feelings begin to grow. Will their arrange marriage become one with love and a happily ever after.

This book is good! Really good! The writing is top notch. The story, itself, is interesting and grabs you and your feelings.
The two main characters were introduced in the first book. They have lots of chemistry, which means some spicy scenes, they are both strong people who find love when they least expect to.

Not keen at all

Didn’t like this at all. I love enemies to lovers stories, but this was not one of those times. The so called hero was nothing more than a psychopath. Even if a woman is feisty, that doesn’t mean she would find a man more attractive as he kills more and more and gets off on having those dead people in view and get turned on because of them. Did NOT float my boat AT ALL.
