Cocksure
"Cocksure Cody."
That is what everybody calls Cody Blake. He's the star quarterback of our town, the eighteen-year-old hero of our football program. He's the ultimate jock who strolls the school hallways with a swagger. He's cocky, and he seems to effortlessly get whatever he desires.
And then there's me; the nerdy eighteen year-old just biding my time until I can be 1,000 miles away at college. Never mind the fact that I am also juggling a few less-than-straight desires. It's bad enough that I even find Cody attractive, but his cocky personality makes me want to scream.
My plan was to avoid him. But thanks to a football field injury and my role as a physical therapist for the football team, I'm about to collide with the very guy I despise--in more ways than one.
As part of his rehabilitation, Cody needs massage therapy, and I'm the "lucky" guy assigned to do it. It's a choice between doing it or facing the prospect of late graduation and summer school.
I know keeping my cool around the attractive jock is going to be hard enough. But when a massive "tent" forms in his towel, my plans go right out the window. Because now Cody is craving a release. And it doesn't matter that he's straight, and I'm a guy.
He wants me right now in the most unthinkable and dirty way. And I know I'm in serious trouble, because "Cocksure Cody" always gets what he wants.
