Discovering the truth about herself was only the beginning.
Adelina Gray, having reclaimed her true identity as Nadia Magdalena, is the last surviving scion of Clan Magdalena. Her birth parents met a brutal end at the hands of a man she once called Father, but the mysterious vampire brotherhood refuses to seek justice. With a growing sense of unease, Nadia delves deeper into vampire society and discovers a labyrinth of secrets leading down twisted paths with no clear end.
Meanwhile, her affection for Viscount Theodore Rosetti deepens; however, not everyone is pleased with their burgeoning love, and dark forces conspire to eradicate the Magdalena clan—for good.
Nadia is thrust into a perilous dance, a fight for both her love and her very existence, as she endeavors to untangle the convoluted truths shrouding her lineage, her family's legacy, and who she truly is.
The Pureblood Princess is the gripping second installment in The Pureblood Daughter trilogy. It delves into themes of identity, love, and survival as Nadia navigates the hidden world of vampires and battles against malevolent forces while seeking justice and embracing her newfound identity. This story contains mature themes and is suitable for readers 18+.
I was so excited to receive an ARC copy of this book from BookSirens, having read the first novel recently. It was so difficult to wait for this book, but I am now left crying (not literally) because I have to wait for the next one to come out. Absolutely love everything about this series and hope there are many more books to come.

I was a little underwhelmed by this one but I can't rate it any lower because the climax was really enjoyable. I wish the whole book had been that exciting!
The first in the series I absolutely adored. I think the first 60% of this one was a bit slow. I always find the beginnings of a love story more entertaining than what comes after when the romance is established, that's just my preference. However, the first chunk of the book was quite meandering and unfocused with little going on plot-wise.
The last third really picks up and saves this book. It seems like there's yet more to come from this series and I'll still keep my hope, as I did after the first book, that the author will expand the vampire lore after what's been hinted at in this one. I had expected more from this book in terms of setting up the world, but aside from one ball scene and the climax, this book is really just Nadia hanging out at the Rosetti's house planning her wedding and simpering over Theodore.
Emberly did not letting us down with this second book ! This book drove more into character development and I absolutely loved it. Finding out more and more about Nadia’s life and inheritance was so interesting and intriguing. Let’s not forget the spice, it was honestly the perfect amount of it in my opinion. Lord Rossetti, of course, is now my book boyfriend of the month and i will not stop thinking about Henry Cavill as his irl actor. can’t wait for the final book, The Pureblood Queen !
I enjoyed the continuing romance between Adeline and Viscount Theodore Rosetti. This book has many twists and turns as Adeline explores her ancestors. I love how this book picks up the storyline where the first ended and all of the characters old and new intertwine as the story unfolds.

I'm not sure how, but the author of 'The Pureblood Princess' wrote a sequel more thrilling than the first book in the series. It's still a novella and a pretty quick read, but even were it novel length, the plot is so fast paced and edited it doesn't get bogged down in the minutia of describing everyday things like travel, food, shopping, etc. You get to allow your subconscious to fill in the blanks as the author directs it with a well chosen sentence or two. Meanwhile, the big plot points are where the book shines. The things you can't imagine, like the way the magic would look or the way a vampire bite effects a person or vampire is described in a quick but eloquent manner that allows a complete reel to play in your imagination as you read. The author writes with all 5 senses and gives you the ability to climb into the story and experience it with the heroine. Those are my favorite of all books and Ms. Wyndham has knocked this one out of the park, past the parking lot and onto the Interstate.
Adelina Gray has settled into life as her birth identity of Miss Nadia Magdalena of Clan Magdalena. She's escaped her duplicitous adopted father's home and is living with her betrothed's family, the Rosettis. She still has many mysteries to solve with regard to her birth family and why they were killed and at whose orders. She also is dealing with the Viscount Rosetti's ex who makes crazy ex-girlfriends everywhere look rational and the picture of sanity. The thing that makes this story so fantastic is the author manages to tell this story and wrap up major plot points extremely neatly with no holes I could find within 240 pages. It wasn't done with tired tropes and hackery either. The author allowed me to suspend my disbelief in magic and paranormal creatures and brought the ending right up to where you only have two major questions leading to the third book in the series. Ms. Wyndham is one of the great storytellers and she should buy her editor an emu or something in gratitude. I have full expectations she will eventually be listed next to Sherrilyn Kenyon and Donna Grant as a super popular paranormal romance author of the era.

When I saw the second book was available to read I eagerly grabbed it!
This book is the second in The Pureblood Daughter series. This story picks up where the first book ends.
Adelina, now called Nadia has to learn about her place in the vampire community and has to meet the mysterious Brotherhood, the government of sorts of this Vampire world.
She is torn between who she was as Adelina Gray and her new life as Nadia Magdalena.
I felt like so much happened in this story and yet nothing happened at the same time, aside from her and Theodore making love as many times as they could find time alone. The spiciness in this book is low to mid level to me, it's mostly tame compared to other books I've read recently.
Most of the action takes place in the last half of the book and so much happens at once that it kept me reading until the very end, and left me groaning when it did end, because I didn't want it to end.
The world Ms. Wyndham created in the first book in the series is expanded upon in this book and we learn more and meet more of the Vampires of her world and more is added to draw the reader in.
We are introduced to more of the Kazamir clan, but I feel that we didn't learn enough about them to make them seem like a proper antagonists. Perhaps in the 3rd book, we will learn a bit more about them and finally get some answers to all of the questions that I feel are burning in my head.
I still love this series very much and I will of course devour this series and read the next one too!
The Pureblood Princess by Emberly Wyndham is the second book in a regency-set vampire trilogy, placed between The Pureblood Daughter and The Pureblood Queen. It picks up shortly after the events of book one and continues the story of vampires Nadia Magdalena and Viscount Theodore Rosetti.
At 238 pages, the pace is brisk and there's absolutely no filler here. The couple is already established so book two has frequent spicy scenes that show the developing relationship between the two characters, but actually I thought that that the last 15% of the book was where it really sang. The action was so well described that it was was so visually clear in my mind, like watching a film.
I love regency fantasy/supernatural stories and for me it was another fantastic example of the two genres merging. It was such an easy read, and I read it all in one go. I'll definitely be reading The Pureblood Queen when it releases in July 2024!
Disclaimer: I received an ARC from BookSirens, but this is my voluntary and honest review.
The word tenses are the same in this book as the first book—third person present. I’m not used to reading books in that tense so it was a little strange for me. But after I was in the book a while, I got used to it. I just wanted to mention it because it was so different to me.
Anyway, the passion between Theo and Nadia burns brightly, even through some of Nadia’s doubts and fears. Which is completely understandable, what with her adoptive father being the horrible person he is, trust issues make a lot of sense for her.
We knew Honora was a *itch, but we find out why in this book. We also find out that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Looks like the Kazimirs have been up to more evil doing with more ramifications than one might’ve imagined.
And the ending. Oh. My. I didn’t see that coming. I’m looking forward to reading book 3 to see just how involved certain characters were in the original plot to wipe out Nadia’s parents and why.
I'm pleasantly intrigued. A new and interesting take on the vampire genre. I thankfully was happy to find that Nadia's character became less of a whiny child and more of an independent thinker. But I was again disappointed in that again Whyndham provided no character development and I can see writer growth Theodore was a blip on the page even when Nadia goes so far as to ask him background questions they are merely glossed over and/or rushed for an explanation we learn more at one point about what a robber stole from the courier then we do about the male lead character. Its seems odd. I'm looking forward to what I feel will be the conclusion of the story in the upcoming book I just how it is more flushed out and that the wrap up is a well thought out ending and not something rushed and rather something Whyndham and can do right for the start of what I predict will be an exciting writing career.
The Pureblood Princess - Emberly Wyndham 5⭐️ Well damn! I did not see that coming! Emberly have outdone herself, I thought the first book was good, but this one? Well this one will be on my mind for the next months! The story keeps me on my toes, it’s well written and I love the characters. Adelain or Nadia as we now her, is turning into a real force. Unraveling her past and who she is, while dealing with a jealous “ex” of Theo and planning a wedding, what could go wrong? Hehe alot it seems, here is what you can expect, ✨Vampires ✨Ballroom & ballgowns ✨Secrets ✨Regency
Thanks to Emberly and Booksirens for this ARC! I am leaving this review voluntarily💜
I thought book 1 was good, but this one stepped it up a notch!!! I knew Honora was a bitch but my goodness, she's insane. Her and her entire family. I knew things were fishy with them. There's a lot of convoluted mess in this story, and I loved every second of it. I didn't know what was going to happen when I flipped the page, and that ending? Omg, I was not expecting it!!! Nadia and Theo are perfection together, and I adore the Rosettis. They really came together for Nadia. I can't wait until book 3!!! I'm so excited to see its conclusion because that ending was not funny!!!
I really enjoyed reading The Pureblood Princess. I loved watching Nadia and Theodore's relationship deepen and evolve, especially given the challenges they face. Nadia's kidnapping and imprisonment were brutal, but the way it resolved was very satisfying, and then there was that bombshell ending. I'm eager to read the next book to see how everything concludes. If you enjoyed the first book in the trilogy, you should enjoy this one. Highly recommended for fans of vampire romance with a regency tone.

The Pureblood Princess Book 2 in the Pureblood Daughter Series by Emberly Wyndham is a great addition to the series. It's a unique take on Vampire Hierarchy and comes with many twists and turns with romance thrown in for good measure. I can't wait for the next book!

This second installment of the series was well written and kept me entertained from start to finish. I can't wait to see what Emberly Wyndham has in store for us next.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I cannot wait for the 3rd book to be released! The story is unique with unexpected plot twists. I have not been able to put these two books down and I'm counting down the days until it's released. FABULOUS JOB EmberlyWyndham!
I liked this one even better than the first one. It kept me on the edge of my seat for the last third of the book, but it ended too abruptly; I can’t wait for the 3rd book in this series!
I have read a few books by this author and was expecting more of the same "sweet", easy read. But it's not. It's much more dark, angsty then her other books I have read.
Billed as Bridgerton meets Vampire, the FMC is lied to and abused a LOT in this series.
Book two draws us deeper into the world with more info being revealed. Another episode of kidnapping and abuse.
