Zelly spent years feeling like a burden and unloveable/unapproachable since her accident but grew her inner resilience and spirit though her studies of agriculture/horticulture and gardening.
In a lot of ways you see why she gets along with Ella (h from Princely Agreement)
They both grew up isolated from the love they never thought was possible but never let it harden their spirits.

I really adored the friendship between Zelly and Ella since they had both been through so much traumatic incidents since childhood and both lost their fathers. They both were really sweet and had each other’s backs and through the reflection of gratitude that Zelly has for their friendship, we can see just how observant and mature Zelly is, despite only being 18.
Something about her inner POV was so lovable in her vulnerability/sensitivity while being exceedingly tenacious navigating the whole arranged marriage while being a woman issue. I really didn’t think Flynn was going to be a good fit but I was pleasantly surprised!

Surprisingly, after everything Flynn endured in his childhood, he found a perfect match in Zelly who mirrored his inner strength. He was painted as this fun loving “golden retriever” type without a care in the world but he really was just as observant as Zelly and had an inner seriousness/intensity that really complimented her well. Plus, for being characterized as the man that ran around town like a party boy in Leo's book, he spent years building Zelly’s perfect estate and the garden of her dreams. He was completely uncompromising in going after the things that would bring her the most joy which was so sweet.

It was so sweet to watch these two come together after so many external forces tried to keep them apart for so long. The miscommunication was actually done really well since there were so many factors that interfered and Flynn tried so hard to get Zelly’s hand in marriage since the very beginning but because of their parents, she spent so many years thinking he didn’t reciprocate those feelings.
But not only was he trying to let Zelly heal, he was coming to terms with the responsibility for the part he played in her accident. He also didn’t fuck around with other girls while he waited for her to come of age!!!

Too many heroes are written to have the audacity to say “I loved you from the start” but fuck around with so many OW but not Flynn!
He was incredibly faithful and EXTREMELY devoted to Zelly from childhood well into adulthood. Also I loved how Zelly teased him about being a virgin just to get a rise outta him. Shit was so adorably funny. 😂

“You’re the only person I’ve ever wanted. The only person I’ll ever have.” My lips part in surprise. “What? I’ve loved you for as long as I can remember. You think there was ever another?” 
“It’s been years.” 
“And I told you. I was giving you time. You weren’t waiting alone. I promise you that.” 

Flynn really was the sweetest and was nothing like the way he was characterized in Princely Agreement.

“I gently kiss the scars along her back. 
They aren’t as bad as they were right after the accident and have faded over time. But no amount of time will make them disappear completely. They’ll always be there as a reminder to me that I could have lost her forever that night. Seeing them now, I’ll always remember to cherish Zelly and never take a day together for granted. So, I read this a while ago but did not write a review. I enjoyed it but there was no reason why the H let the h stew in anger and hurt. The reason made no sense, but I love a dual virgin romance.
The H and h knew each other since they were kids and there was a bad accident that left the h scarred and a recluse, and she is heartbroken that the H does not reach out to her for years. He gets his head out of his ass and persues her. It was all right, I did enjoy it. Read it, it is a safe DV and those are hard to find in romance. That is all I have to say really, I kind of forgot it, since I read it when it came out, and forgot to write a review. I wanted to but there wasn't a page to rate the book and then I moved on to other reads. It is the same problem with the next book in the series I just finished.

Just so I don't forget, I am putting my impressions of the 3rd book in this review because the page for it is not on goodreads yet. So most of the review is for the 3rd book, "Sleepless Pact" and I did not like it. After having two dual virgin romances we get the H that is experienced but doesn't like to be touched. Color me confused. He talks to Damian (I hope Damian gets his own book) and tells him this,
“'I would tell you to go find a woman and enjoy your night, but I won’t
waste my breath.” Damien Shadow is a reclusive billionaire who likes
being alone. I’ve never seen him with anyone else..""
The H, likes to get off with a woman but has a problem being touched.....um, what?
"Usually I’m only with a woman long enough to get off, and I don’t give
out my number." Ok, what do you do with her, bend her over, stick your dick in, thrust thrust, cum and then leave? If he hates being touched why not just rub one out?
I think it is an attempt to make the hero seem like the h is his first love and that sex in the past was meaningless and clinical to him. It did not work for me.

OW mentioned (he gets a naked pic from a woman he fucked after a party, only he did not give his number to her so he wonders how she got it. I don't get what that adds to the novel, other than he fucks em and dumps em). That whole thing ruined it for me, including another woman who runs up to him and the h, thinking he recognizes her, but he doesn't and then hurries away to the bookstore with the heroin. It seemed like the woman and he had sex, and she was bummed that he didnt recognize her and we never know what the hell that was all about. THe h and H have a conversation about it and this is part of it...
“She seemed to think she was more than that.”
“When you have money, that tends to happen.” I stare up at him as a
knot forms in my stomach.
I really don't like all this unecessary OW popping out left, right and center, it made me not like, or be invested in the rest of the book. That is where we get that he doesn't let people touch him ever, and no explanation why. If he can fuck other women when he has the itch to scratch, then he enjoys touching and being touched so I don't believe in his BS. One positive is I did enjoy the erotic love scene where she was covered in jewels.
This felt rushed and it seems like AR either goes romantic or erotic, but she can do both beautifully but this one was not it. I am really hoping the next one is with Damian and his story is a DV one, with romance and erotica. Here's hoping.. *crossing fingers*
I would pass on this 3rd book and read the first two in the series. This 3rd one was a bummer.

Argumento:

Este es el libro de Zelly, hermana de Leo, libro anterior, y de Flynn, mejor amigo del hermano. Amor de la infancia, segunda oportunidad, versión de Rapunzel moderna,

Tenía una gran curiosidad por saber qué sucedió entre Zelly y Flynn desde el primer libro y... Se amaban y los dos pasaron tantos años separados por un malentendido y culpa, sufriendo y anhelándose desde lejos. Él porque sentía que fue su culpa el accidente y ella porque pensó que él se alejó porque le desagradan las cicatrices. Quería golpear a Flynn y Zelly por asumir y dejar que siga el malentendido! Me daba pena tantos años perdidos.

Sin embargo me emocionó cuando aclararon todo y enfrentaron juntos otro obstáculo que era la madre de Zelly, una mujer bastante prejuiciosa. Flynn ya es parte de mí larga lista de novios de libro ❤️ No era el tipo desinteresado que mostró ser ni el fiestero playboy. Él fue leal y se guardó para Zelly porque no había otra para él. Me derretí con eso! Esperó a Zelly y mientras lo hacía le construyó su casa y jardín soñados para llevársela con él. Lo hizo con un pequeño engaño pero sirvió para que pudieran hablar de sus sentimientos los cuáles nunca cambiaron por el otro.

Me gustó la pareja y su historia fue muy dulce.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Flynn and Zelly have loved each other for years, but an accident leaves Zelly with scars. Feeling guilty about the accident Flynn distances himself from Zelly breaking her young heart. (He was not responsible for her accident but feels guilty cause she was trying to be like him and her big brother.)
Done with waiting he hatches a plan to make Zelly his. He has already bought her a castle and has been remodeling it and putting in a garden for her. She loves her garden at her brother’s house.
Flynn’s father is an abusive jerk who loves to use people and Flynn is worried he will use his love for Zelly against him. So he gets her brother to agree to let her set up his new garden. When she arrives at his place she’s stunned by how beautiful it is. He designed it for her.
Their love and chemistry is still there and soon they are kissing and making out. But Flynn won’t give up his virginity until Zelly agrees to marry him. Lots of cute oral sexy times while he convinces her to marry him.
She agrees and they go talk to her brother and mother. His mom doesn’t approve of Flynn because she worries he’s like his father but Zelly tells her he’s nothing like his horrible father. They confess their love and get married without her family there. Their first time is in the car at the courthouse after the judge married them, she was an eager virgin who couldn’t wait. More sexy times at home and her mother comes over to apologize for hurting her by not accepting Flynn and forcing her to marry for social traditions and to further their standing and wealth. It was good that Flynn was very wealthy and smart.
Epilogue with Zelly teaching and working in her garden to help feed people.

So this is based on rapunzel but Im unsure how. The heroine is upset with the man she has always loved, her brother's bestie, the hero. He coerces her to work for him, the immediately resolve their differences and we jump to ending.

I suggest reading ‘Princely Agreement’ before reading this story. There is important information in it. I loved this story. It has the good, the bad and the WTF ugly. A young crush slowly burns that neither one of them thought the other would have. A bunch of truths are revealed, and a happily ever after that’s perfect for them ensues.
