NOPE!!!
This book started off on the wrong foot…but I kept reading..Sophia and Olivia storyline instantly put me in the mind of too many previous reads…Priest being powerful and connected as he was made it hard to accept he wouldn’t have ran a background check on the person he’d make his wife…But I kept reading hoping it would make sense…Jazz moving foul and suspect jumped off the pages upon her introduction..Them getting shot and Darius dying had me ready to close the book..DK and Daisy…add Shayla to the mix extra unnecessary drama…Killing off Sophie and Priest…Olivia orphaned..Nah not feeling it all…Daisy and DK story a super hard no for me…Truthfully I feel duped for investing my energy into this book…

Excuse me!! What the fuck did I just skim through? At first I was like I'm not connecting with any of these characters but I'm gonna keep reading cuz I wanna know what happens between Dakari [fuck nigga] and Daisy. But how the end ended... I'm pissed so I must've connected with some damn body. First off, the title is misleading! Saved by a Naptown Hitta....ummm... probably should've said saved for a lil while. Both the mofos DIED!! I read romances cuz they end in happily ever afters. Where TF IS THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER IN THIS BOOK?! At this point I don't even care about Daisy and Dakari asses [the next book]!! It appears that Sophia [Teagan] and Pharaoh are dead! This is their book? Then why TF they dead?
So Priest [Pharaoh] is supposed to be a hitta. How?! He didn't know for sure if Jace [Sophia's ex] was for sure dead or not. I mean, towards the end of the book,...Sophia was still being harassed...sooooo.... take care of that Priest. He didn't! They ended up getting shot up at towards the end of the book and dieing🤔
I will probably only read the next book to see for sure if these idiots are really dead. As for Daisy and Dakari... who the fuck cares?! The dude been cheating on her since the beginning of their relationship! This time he created an outside baby! Ok yea sis be done with his ass. WTF therapy gonna do?!

Questionsssss
Let me say I’m high key irked !
It’s not even about what actually happened to Sophia and Priest. I mean I have so many unanswered questions and I’m just so confused on how if Priest had all his motion in the streets how he sleeping with the opps . I wanna know how she was able to like be all of his business, and why she was working with the cops.
I honestly wish that Sophie and Priest were at least able to have five more months. I was legitimately in my feels , but happy they were together.
Whewww don’t get me started on the drama between Daisy and DK. Lord they need help because the way that she was dumb silly for this man ain’t no way. The way he was delusional 🙄.
I just think most of this could have been prevented had they acted like the bosses they presented themselves to be .

Well damn..... Why??? I was not happy with Priest. He kept saying he would figure it out, but damnit when? That was working my nerves so bad. Jazz got ghost after he found out she was married, and when things started happening, I don't think he moved fast enough. Sophia/Teagan went through enough and I was happy when her life turned around. The minute she knew Jace was coming for her she and Priest should have been more careful. Priest had no proof of Jace's death but kept telling her she didn't have to worry. That was a lie. Daisy and Dakari worked all my nerves. That man cheated their whole relationship, and he still expects her to understand and stick with him. Boy, go run in front of train. I guess because I love HEA that I wasn't too happy about the ending. But sometimes life happens and not all stories end well. Nice job, Tina!

momma and Priest were a great match considering how they met. Too bad they weren't totally open with each other about their pasts because things could've worked out differently. The relationship between Daisy and DK was good except for his cheating ways and getting caught up when he had a real one at home. Now what I never understood is how the heck your mother is so powerful and has so many connections (as do you) that you don't know you supposedly married a snake who is already married!? Just plain ole blindsided every step of the way. Also what about the connection between Jazz, Jace and her husband? Nobody was safe. The ending is beyond belief for all the stuff that happened. The only thing wrong with standalones is that sometimes all the prices don't come together.

Wow
For all that Sophia , Olivia and Priest had been though I would've thought they would've ended up with a happier ending. Dakar I and Daisy are really going to need therapy, prayer and family support to make it through all of this . I knew they should have verified that Jace was dead . Olivia saw Jace near the funeral .Jace literally didn't want anyone else to have her plus he probably never forgot how she left (which he fully deserved!!) I can't wait for Dakaris and Daisy book and I hope that one has more happiness in it .

Omggggggg wtf I'm so hurt this book was damnnnnn good I'm so glad pj is ok only thing is they won't be able to enjoy him babyyyy whyyyy she said have was still alive don't ever leave loose ends open you have to tie them up that boy didn't want my girl to be happy at all but I'm super glad she found it and him also Sophia deserved that and priest also dk was a hot mess but I love them this book WILK have you on an rollercoaster frfr great book

Man oh man
I just can't believe it. Why just why! I just can't get over it. That dang Jace needs to be stopped. Man this ending can't be real. It really brought tears to my eyes. I just can't get over it. I should have been petty and gave one star because the ending could not be real! My dang heart stopped. Tina B you was so WRONG! Good job over all, I could not put the book down. I know my boy is BK is coming to kill everybody.

I don't even know where to begin because the ending just took me completely out like I don't understand why she "Sophia" couldn't have her happily ever after. Smh and I know that bi### ass do boy wasn't dead smh and to have Olivia have that reaction to seeing him she remembers perfectly well what and how he was. I was rooting for her and Priest.. I'm sad and I cried real life tears because it shouldn't have ended this way.

Not for me
This book was not for me, I enjoyed the storyline until the end, but I expected a better outcome-it could just be me personally but I hate when couples don't get their happily ever after when they deserve it. This book was full of messed up things happening and not really understanding why. Then everyone dies without giving answers. Please read it for yourself, but it does not extend my curiosity.

So Good
This well written story is so good. With drama at every turn, from the streets to the friends life. Surviving an abusive relationship and running away to build a new life that was safe for a while. The storyline has a little of everything and some crazy love. I didn't see that ending coming and will definitely be reading the next book.

I know you lying.
This book had me in my feelings, when I say I was on an emotional roller coaster I mean it. The karmas and montegas were a family that was full of dysfunctional yet overwhelming unconditional love. A lot of things happened good and bad, but through it all lovd conquered all.

all over the place
This story was never fully flushed out and it kind of dragged. I am so confused on how we got to that ending from the middle of the story. This kind of have me aggravated that they are supposed to be bosses in their own right and they didn't know certain things. They couldn't confirm certain things. I'm just at loss......

Girl, I like romance urban romance to be exact. How you kill the two main characters, ugh! Then got another book coming out about the other more toxic couple??? The only day is read the next book is of these two come back from the dead and get their happy ending.

A page turner for sure! I really enjoyed the book! I was going through all the emotions right along with the characters! I would have never guessed it would end like it did, but I liked that it was unpredictable!

This is one of the saddest books I have read in a long time, It was unfair, we still have not idea who killed them, it the next book is as sad as this one, I have my doubts about reading it. So a Nap town person did not save her,now did he!!!!

This was a great read, I just hate it ended the way it did.

This was soooo good!! It held my bc attention from beginning to end. I was happy that Sophia had found her happily ever after even though it was short lived after all she had been through. Can’t wait for the next book!

I guess Naptown actually meant the main characters were going to take a permanent nap! Why did you waste my time with this? Who did he save? I won’t be reading the next book; matter of fact, I won’t ever read anything else by this author.
