Monsters & Muffins: A Sweetfang Sweet Cozy Monster Romance

Rate this book
Hazel Sanchez loves two things - flowers and her full-figured body. As the owner of Bewitching Bouquets, she delights in crafting floral arrangements that spread joy throughout the quirky little monster town of Sweetfang. But at the end of the day, Hazel retreats to her cottage garden, wishing she had someone to share it with. When a new bakery called Crumbs & Cream opens on Main Street, Hazel hopes to drum up a floral partnership with the owner. She meets Felix, a bashful yet charming blue beast with horns and a passion for crafting decadent cupcakes. Though timid at first, a romance blossoms between Felix and Hazel as they bond over their love for sweets, nature, and self-acceptance. Yet when mysterious mishaps plague Hazel's enchanted garden, she worries Felix’s monstrous instincts could be to blame. If Hazel and Felix can work together to uncover the mystery and embrace their differences, this spellbinding sweet cozy monster romance might have a chance to thrive. But they’ll need to think outside the cake box and dig deep to nurture the roots of their love. Sweetfang Sweet Cozy Monster Romances offer readers clean romance stories full of heart and happily ever afters. Each book is a standalone story and can be read without knowledge of the other books.

I thought the author had moments of descriptive bliss, but I had no compassion for the character and, was thoroughly annoyed with the way the female protagonist got through her relationship. I will not be listening to the AI narrator for the remainder of these author’s books.
