Another excellent and thought out start to another great Cania series by Moeller. This one had a little something thrown in for which i wasn't expecting and was pleasantly surprised at Cania's reaction when she learned of it. Mr. Moeller continues to surprise and delight us in his books. I'll be looking forward to reading "Ghost In The Veils" when it comes out.

Great book in the series
I have always loved this series and this book does not disappoint. The twist of the children is unexpected. I am hoping one of these days something good will be given to Ciana for all of the sacrifices she has made in her life… the ability to have children would be that

The start of a new series with Caina, Kylon and their friends and allies. An attempted murder reveals a whole new mystery centred of Kylon's past, to include the attempted assassination of the Emporor, Padishah and thousands of people who just happened to be there.
I've missed most of the previous series, but slipped into this one easily. Good start to series.

I’m excited that there are more adventures for Caina & Kylon and new strange adversaries! I love all of the Ghost series and am so happy to have a new part to look forward to!!!

smashed it again
Adventures with Caina and friends are never a dull read, they’re fabulous and each time a new one arrives I can wait to fully immerse myself. Ghost in the Serpent did not disappoint in the slightest. A right riveting read! Enjoyed every page. Thank you Mr Moeller

Intrigue and suprise awaits!

The continuing adventures of Caina. Spoilers ahead for the earlier books.
It opens with her being ill, and sending Kylon off with the Emperor nonetheless, in the retinue for a state visit, because he'd be bored stiff. Then she finds out that she was, in fact, poisoned, the clinching evidence being a new attack.
She, of course, investigates. It involves opera rehearsals, an issue she and Kylon had spoken of coming in a way I never saw coming, a woman talking about how she had met Caina the same way as another woman does in this book, Kylon's being quite angry with the Surge, and more.
