New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cathryn Fox is a wife, mom, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She loves dogs, sunny weather, anything chocolate (she never says no to a brownie) pizza and red wine. Cathryn lives in beautiful Nova Scotia with her husband, who is convinced he can turn her into a mixed martial arts fan. When not writing, Cathryn can be found Skyping with her son living in Seattle (could he have moved any farther away?) shopping with her daughter in the city, watching a big action flick with her husband, or hanging out and laughing with friends.
There was lots to like about Kai and Jami, and there was lots to make you want to sit them down and have a long talk about too! These two were carrying some baggage, and had on some pretty thick blinders as well. The beauty of their story was watching them unload and open up to what was in them and all around them. That they became each others safe place to figure things out, and then supported each other as changes were made, that was wonderful to watch and be part of. The fact they had wild chemistry and fell in love while all this was happening, that was the icing on the cake <3
Reading Cathryn Fox's next installment in her Scotia Storms hockey series, Opposing Teams was a great way to escape from reality for a few hours and into the lives of Kai and Jami. I am enjoying this spicy Rom-Com hockey series that is set in my home province of Nova Scotia and I am looking forward to the next in the series.
