All it took was a transfer to the United Kingdom, the lovely English springtime, and a huge dose of homesickness to write her first novel. Once it was completed and sent off with a kiss even the rejections, addressed to 'Dear Author', were gratifying.
After returning to America, she spent a number of years as a copywriter, dedicating her skills to making insurance and the agents who sell them sound sexy. Eventually, her full-time job as a writer interfered with her desire to be a writer full-time and she left the world of financial products behind to pursue an avocation as a romance author.
Her gamble paid off when she was a 2012 Finalist in the prestigious Golden Pen contest for Romantic Suspense and she received contracts for her first and second book.

I had the distinct privilege of being a BETA Reader for this book and I am so glad I got that chance. Callan may be one of my new book boyfriends. He's about the sweetness man and he's a country singer. Swoon! After a horrible divroce, Catie is starting anew. What she doesn't count on is the dreamy Callan waltzing into her life both as a client for her graphic art business and in an adorable meet cute involving a dog (so you now i'm there for it). This book checks all the boxes (1) adorable meet cute (2) a sexy cinamon roll hero, (3) a strong FMC who you root for the entire book, (4) a beautiful storyline that oozes with healing and hope, and (5) lots of chemistry between our MMC and FMC. If you want a perfect comfort read for the cool weather, this is it!!! Loved it!!!!!

Catie Marlowe left behind a disastrous marriage and moved to Tennessee for a fresh start near her best friend. When her ex husband won’t quit texting or calling her, Catie decides to change her phone number. One day she receives a sad and personal message from an unknown number.
I loved the very spicy slow burn as Cal and Catie try to keep things platonic while they are working together. Sparks definitely fly once the job is done and they both find themselves falling faster than either thought possible. Cal’s superstar life has a way of revealing the shadows of Catie’s past as they learn to navigate their new relationship.
I am so excited to read this newest release from one of my favorite authors!! I was drawn into the lives of Cal and Catie immediately and enjoyed their story immensely!

Catie and Callan’s story is a must read! This story has it all! A few twists and turns and an amazing storyline! The characters are lovable and relatable!
