Why can't Kylo Ren give this a 5-star score?
Because he's always against such a good REYting.
It is hard to quantify puns on a numerical scale: they need to be bad to be good, but not too bad that they're bad. The artwork is nice, and the scope of characters (films, comics, TV) is great.

Some of the jobs are surprisingly clever, and most of them are aimed to fans who have at least a minimum knowledge of Star Wars. There’s even one about Doctor Aphra who only exists in comics.

Cheesy, as to be expected. some are recycled and made into Star Wars jokes, others are replays of each other and separated. But entertaining for a casual Star Wars fan

Absolutely hilarious. A couple of the illustrations were kind of "eh" in my book (pun intended) but for the most part I loved them as much as I loved the dad jokes.

This is a fun book for the entire family. I wrote a longer review on Dork Side of the Force, but the short version is that it's a riot. I was surprised by the deeper cuts of Star Wars lore, though bummed there weren't more nods to animation. Johnny Sampson's illustrations truly compliment Kelly Knox's words, many of them standing on their own as hilarious. Definitely recommend. It's a delight. Longer review here:
