Sweet Mate….Family….
This book is just really amazing. I wasn’t very happy with it when I started reading, then all of a sudden it took me. I loved it. It was just absolutely phenomenal. You need to read this. It is definitely a must read.

Diego is the alpha of his pack. His first wife died when their son was young. Diego tried to raise his son Tyler to be a good man but Tyler was not good and he ended up being killed by a member of another pack. The members of Diego’s pack think he needs to find his mate. There is a group of young men who were friends with Tyler who think that they need to get revenge on the pack that killed Tyler. Quinn is living with her friend Gina in the pack that Gina belongs to. Quinn was raised by humans and has never had a pack. One night Quinn goes for a run and she ends up being surrounded by wolves from the pack that Diego is alpha of. The men kidnap Quinn meaning to give her to Diego but Marcus is thinking he will take her first. Diego comes in and he can see what Marcus is up to and when Diego sees Quinn for the first time his wolf knows that she is their mate. Diego takes Quinn to his cabin and he puts her in his bed and then he sleeps next to her. Quinn has a sex dream about Diego that turns into the real thing. Diego locks Quinn in his cabin because he is afraid that she will leave him. Quinn realizes that she is mated to Diego and they begin to have a relationship. Diego is still struggling with the death of Tyler and Quinn talks to him about how Tyler was his own person and it shouldn’t reflect on Diego. Quinn discovers that she is pregnant and that is when Diego starts thinking about the future. Diego and Mateo, alpha of the other pack begin talking to prevent a war. Will Diego and Mateo come to an agreement? Will Diego and Quinn stay together as bonded mates? Will Diego and Quinn find love and happiness in their pack?

Quinn finds herself mated to an Alpha shifter she has heard about, but never met. She is understandably scared and not just of him. As Diego and Quinn start to finally chat and get to know each other, both their views start to change. She sees who he really is and he starts to think that maybe, revenge and bloodshed is not the way to go.
Such a great story: Quinn desperately wants to be loved and have a family of her own and feels very guilty when she starts to hope it may be with her best friend’s enemy. Quinn has always tried to do the best by his pack, but the death of his wayward son has changed him into a bitter, angry man. The road they travel is not an easy one: Quinn has to be braver and stand up for herself and Diego has to look at who his son really was, not his idealistic view of him.
I loved this book and can’t wait for more.

I loved Quinn. How she in her quiet way helped Diego become the leader he was meant to be. Don't get me wrong she was a strong wolf. But she also saw things others did not. The chemistry between the two was off the charts when he first met and rescued her.
Diego had a reputation of being cruel and ruthless. But things slowly changed after meeting Quinn. I liked the things he did to make Quinn accept him. Although locking her in his house , not so much. There were a few reasons for this action.
I liked how she proved she could be trusted.
Action throughout. Steam to the romance, the flow was good. You want to continue to see what happens next. And of course a wonderful HEA.

I really enjoyed this book and getting to know Diego. He is not as bad as I thought he was. Of course letting his pack kidnap Quinn was not the smartest move but it did prove to be good for him and his pack. I really enjoyed when he tries to whoo Quinn and get her to like him. A really good read showing you the other side of the story. I received an arc and the views and opinions are my own.

Quinn and Diego
Diego is bent on revenge for me death of his son by the Silverstar wolves even as he realized that his son was not who he hoped he would be. Quinn is visiting when a faction from Diego's pack kidnapped her.
However, on meeting their wolves know their mate. More tension developed between the packs and within Diego's pack.
Exciting story!

Loved it!
This book was entertaining and captivating. The characters had a mixture of emotional disposition. The twist in the story gave it an edge. The ending was absolutely beautiful.
