She thinks she knows me—her Mom’s ex, but she’s wrong. I’m a bad man, and I’m going to make her mine. When Lena’s mom goes missing, she’s left with a ransom note and one hope—me.I wanted Lena back then, standing at the door, perfect and curvy in all the right places. But I didn’t want to make her mom’s life more difficult. Now, there’s no choice. My job is to do bad things, and it’s catching up with me.“I’m doing this to keep you safe,” I tell her when I lock her up in my penthouse apartment. That’s what I tell her. This is about her safety, and that’s true. It’s also true I can’t stop fantasizing about her thick, perfect body.I don’t care if she’s only twenty-one and I’m forty. I don’t care if I had something with her mom. She doesn’t know it yet, but she belongs to me.*Kidnapped By My Mom’s Ex is an insta-everything standalone romance with a HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger.
I struggled so much to get through this. I didn't care for the plot or characters. It was just boring for me. Lena and Jamie made me super uncomfortable. The whole tummy spanking thing was such a turn-off for me. This is the first time that the smut literally gave me the ick.

This is an age gap romance where the MMC may (or may not have) had a previous relationship with the Mother of the virgin, 21 yr old MFC. He apparently has wanted her since he first saw her, but held back because of the age gap amd she was still young, maybe 18-19. She always wanted him, but denied her feelings believing her mother was in a relationship with him, but then he disappears from their lives.
She's almost 21 when her mother mysteriously disappears and she receives a strange message about a "wallet". With instructions not to involve the cops, she contacts the H, knowing he was former military special-ops, hoping he will save her mother. And now all bets are off, he's going after what he wants. She's torn between wanting to believe him yet not believing her mom could have, would have, lied to her.
But there's so much more afoot, people even more evil than just the ones who took her mother. Because after mom is found and the people who took her dealt with, she's taken again, and these kidnappers may have ties to the H and they have a much more devious purpose than just wanting money. The H and h get into some dire circumstances before they get their HEA.
I loved the concept of "the answer", the secret organization dedicated to special jobs helping people. Where clients and targets are veted and researched to make sure both are deserving of their particular outcome. An organzation whose operatives are willing to go above and beyond to accomllsh the goal. Where the police have to draw the line, " the answer" can take it further, doing whatever is necessary to complete the task or get the answers.
I had mixed feelings about this one. The storyline concept was good, but I found the execution lacking. Some things just seemed to abrupt or not natural, too contrived. Then there was the repetition of words...it was always, bad, bad man or good, good girl. For me the intensity of emotions was missing. 3 stars.
This kept getting recommend to me thanks to kindle and I love silly little reads so why not, but what the fuck. This had to of been written by a 13 year old who discovered wattpad for the first time. The story lacked and was super confusing. I just…I wish I could burn this from my brain.
I made it 62 pages... the writing was cringe to say the least.. no 40 year old would call his dick his manhood 😂😂 and the overuse of italics.. anyways.. I tried
Kidnapped By My Mom's Ex was about 21-year-old Lena Harwood and 39-year-old Jamie King. Lena first met Jamie when her mother, Simone, brought him home when Lena was just 19. Her mom and Jamie dated for a month, but then things ended. Two years later, everything in her life went sideways when her mother didn't return home from a girls' trip to Las Vegas and Lena received a ransom note from an unknown source. The only person she thought could help was her mom's ex, who had a military background and had a dangerous feel about him. Once Jamie had met Lena, he couldn't forget her, so when she called to tell him her mother had disappeared, he went into survival mode, kidnapped Lena, and went on the hunt for her mom and her mother's kidnapper(s). This story was more a thriller than a romance novel, to be honest. While there was heat and chemistry between Jamie and Lena, it was a very, very...very slow burn. Most of the story was about the kidnapping of Lena's mother, her prior relationship with Jamie, and how that affected Lena's relationship with the two of them. There was entirely too much focus on the mother and not enough on the romance between the two main characters. It was quite suspenseful, full of angst and drama, and it had way too many plot twists that seemed to go on and on without end. The emotions were all over the place, and there were so many twists and turns in the storyline it made the head spin. The main characters were well-developed and mature, with a bit of growth occurring with both of them. The FMC was a strong woman who had to grow up early and she continued to get stronger with each new development in the story. The MMC was a strong, hardened man who dealt with the seedier side of life, but as his relationship with the FMC blossomed, he softened and developed a more tender side. However, he stayed vigilant throughout the book. The story had quite a few unresolved issues, and it had areas where there were subjects brought up but never explained, causing quite a few questions to be left unanswered. It was overly long, and often OTT in drama, sometimes making it all too surreal to be enjoyed. There was a good deal of fluff and stuff that could have been left out, and there was a tremendous amount of repetition that caused the book to become boring at times. The book could easily have ended a good 10-15 chapters sooner, which would have been much more enjoyable. As it stands, I could only give the book a three-star rating.
Lena's mother hasn't been the same since Lena's dad died. She spent most of her time depressed or lost. The only time Lena saw her happy was when she was dating Jamie but that only lasted a month. Lena never paid much attention to her mother's men except for Jamie. She had a crush on Jamie and felt guilty about it. Now Lena is getting worried her mother went on a trip to Vegas and still hasn't returned even though she said she would be back a day or two early. Then she gets a weird message about her mother and her father's wallet. Lena is confused and the only person she can think off that can help her is Jamie. She calls Jamie and tells him what is going on. He tells her that he is on the way over but then Lena gets scared. When he shows up at her house with a gun, she takes off. Jamie chases her and tells her that he has her mom safe. He wants her to follow him to his house. When she arrives, he tells her that he lied to her and that he is keeping her there to keep her safe.
Jamie met Lena two years ago when he was helping her mother. He and her mother made up a story that they were dating to hide their activities. The problem is that Jamie is very attracted to Lena but she is still too young and his life is still too dangerous. Then out of the blue he gets a call from Lena. She tells him about her missing mother and the threatening message she received. He knows that Lena's mother has been taken and wants to do whatever it takes to keep Lena safe. He is done keeping his distance.

Fighting For Their Forever - Lena was really weary of Jamie, but she knew he was the best person to ask for help when she discovered her mum was in trouble. Jamie had been fantasising about Lena from the moment he laid eyes in her, but his dangerous life made it impossible for him to pursue anything with her. However, he knew could no longer stay away the moment he knew she was in trouble.
Keeping Lena safe meant spending time together in close proximity, which led to their attraction for each other growing to an explosive level. However, their budding romance was disrupted when outside forces reeked havoc on their lives. Fortunately, they were able work together to overcome the adversities plaguing their lives and stay safe in the process, just so they could finally get the amazing life they dreamed of with each other.
This is a truly inspirational romance story, about a young lady‘s determination to fight for the future she wanted, by destroying the obstacles placed in her path. This story is filled with action-packed moments, acts of subterfuge and steamy encounters, that had me hooked on the story from the first chapter. I couldn’t stop reading until I reached the end and I was still left thirsting for more. Grab a copy of this book now and I promise you won’t regret your decision.

Lena loves her mom but she knows her mom is attracts trouble so when she comes up missing she reaches out to one of her mother’s ex’s for help but it is the one ex. has always been a little questionable he is the best person to help her find her mom and biting the bullet so to speak she reaches out. Jamie sexy as all get out ex. much older than the little girl who reached out to him asking for his help with finding her mom his ex., the problem is she has always been a fantasy now coming to him maybe that fantasy can become a reality but she is too innocent for his life although staying away wasn’t an option considering her mother was taken, it was only a matter of time before they came for her and he wasn’t about to allow that to happen. Keeping her safe requires spending time with each other the more time they are around each other the stronger the pull between them grows until those who took her mom come for them but can he keep her safe, will they find her mom, will mom accept them if found, when secrets are revealed will it end them or make them stronger, and can they find happiness along the way?

Our hero wants our heroine, but this might not be the best way to show her he cares. It's a complicated situation only made worse by the blatant attraction. There will need to be a few changes to make this relationship work.
This book is part of a series, but they share a theme only. No prior reading is needed to enjoy this story.
This is an instant love romance, something that our author writes very well. I enjoy these stories for the quick connection and the lack of angst that often emerge is so many other stories. While I like a good hard fought romance, sometimes it is nice to relax and take the easy approach. The story is well written with fun and enjoyable characters and a good plot. This was was enjoyable as we watched our hero try to untangle the web he of his own making. And it all provided some delightful steam and a nice HEA. Overall, another very enjoyable story from our author and I look forward more in the future.
Highly recommended.

Lena contacted Jamie, her mother’s ex, for help in finding her when she disappeared. Instead Jamie puts her in his penthouse “for her safety” to give him better access to her. She was attracted to him as well. And he has decided she is his. And then he found a flimsy reason to spank her…
This author has been my favorite for many years. But the part of the story where Jamie decides to spank Lena for snooping was a huge dead-stop turn-off for me. I positively do not like irrational spanking themes thrown into a story line. That behavior is completely inappropriate, and it is absolutely humiliating to spank an adult. Striking someone like that has absolutely nothing to do with a “love” story. It is NOT sexy. This kind of behavior where a big strong man beats on a woman adds absolutely no value to the plot, turns my stomach, and ruins all possibility of my enjoying the story. That is not how adults resolve problems and it’s a very bad “model” to flaunt as acceptable.

I’ve read almost all of Flora’s books and I can say with absolute certainty this is the darkest book I’ve ever read from her. It was FANTASTIC, like reading an action novel with an underlying love story, I loved it. It was NOTHING like any other book in this very long series.
It’s a very slow burn, so be prepared because I know they aren’t usually. The story was so engrossing that I didn’t even care.
I literately stayed up too late because I couldn’t put it down. The characters were fantastic, the plot so interesting and there were some definite surprises in there!

Mr. Fitzgerald. Fantastic book. Lena’s mother, Simone, is missing and has received a ransom note. She can’t go to the police so she calls the one person who may have the answers she needs. Jamie, her mom’s ex. The man she has wanted since she met him. Jamie lies and says that he has her mother at his apartment but, he doesn’t and locks Lena in to keep her safe while he looks for her mother. Jamie brings Simone back to Lena and they work out a story for the police since they were both reported missing by a neighbor. The three of them end up at one of Jamie’s safe houses when they are shot at. Then Simone is kidnapped, AGAIN and another note is left behind. Jamie locks Lena in the bunker with a twenty-four hour lock if he doesn’t return. Eventually, Lena hears the locks disengage and realizes that Jamie didn’t return. What happened to him and her mother?.

I positively loved this book! It starts with Lena’s mom getting kidnapped. Lena calls he mother’s ex, Jamie for help. Before she can think about it, she convinces herself that Jamie is not a good person. All Jamie wants is to protect Lena. He’s wanted her since he first saw her. Lena is scared to trust him but eventually does because she has always had a crush on him too. In order to keep Lena safe, Jamie locks her up in his apartment with no way out. At first this angers Lena but she comes to believe that Jamie is truly trying to help her and her mother. Their attraction for each other only grows during this time. There are some secrets that finally make their way out to explain some things. This book was a great read. I loved the way Jamie and Lena loved each other. The steam level was perfect!.

Kidnapped by my Mom's Ex is a steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, curvy girl gets her mom's ex-boyfriend romance. Lena is a 21 year old curvy girl. Jamie is a 39 year old hunky, possessive, morally gray, ex-military man and her mom's ex. When Lena's mom is kidnapped and she gets a ransom note, she contacts Jamie, her mom's tough ex-boyfriend. Lena and he have always lusted after each other but never acted on their feelings. Jamie is determined to make Lena his. Lena is worried about her mom's reaction. Jamie ends up kidnapping her to keep her safe as he hunts the bad guys and tries to find her mom. This story had a lot of bad guys and twists and turns. The chemistry was hot, and after a bit of excitement, we got an amazing HEA.

My biggest issue with this book is the actual lack of kidnapping. Sure, you can say he brought her to his place (she was willing to go) then locked her in while he investigated her mother's abduction. At best, that's unlawful imprisonment. If you promise me kidnapping, it should be kidnapping.
Another issue was the writing. I loved her style, but her clarity needs a lot of work. If I have to go back over and over to understand what is being said, it's way too obtuse.
Finally, there is a lack of smutty scenes. I like my books at the 5 alarm fire level. This was more a little trash can fire. Some, but not nearly enough, or as smutty as it could be.
As this has good ideas, good creativity, and good character development, I think this author's writing will mature and flourish.
When Lena’s mom is kidnapped, she doesn’t have a lot of people to ask for him so she hopes that her mom’s ex-boyfriend will be willing to assist. When he arrives she is uncertain about his unorthodox methods to keep her safe especially when she isn’t sure if she should believe him or her mother.
When Jamie gets Lena’s frantic call he is concerned about her safety as well so he will do whatever is necessary to keep her safe. As the chemistry between them ignites so does the danger as the truth about the past is revealed.
Lena’s character will draw you in as she isn’t about to stand by when those she cares about are in jeopardy and Jamie is protective as he knows that he can’t face a future without her in it.
Loved this book, I felt so bad for Lena being in love and wanting her moms "ex" Jamie has wanted Lena since he first saw her , but he lives a complicated life and her mom made it worse by lying to her about her relationship with Jamie. Lens mom hasn't been the same since her dad died , not much of a mother and kind of fades in and out of it and prays all the time but mumbles it to herself. I only gave it a 4 because the whole , spoiler here so stop reading if you don't want to know , but the whole being gay , threw me off and was just weird. It was like she ( The writer) was trying to make excuses as to why she was so flighty and so absent from her daughters life and being overly religious and gay excuses it .
Nah she kinda slayed a bit with this book. I really didn’t expect to be so sucked in. The characters were okay. Lena was kinda one dimensional even though she had a lil backstory but Jamie definitely was more complex and was more vulnerable to the reader. Not gonna lie I kinda got a lil giddy about his possessiveness but in real life it would be cringe af. Like his obsession with her womb SENT ME and not in a good way but I still was hanging on to every crumb of his love for her because it’s so bizarre and so unrealistic but so engaging. Tbh I enjoyed this author’s writing style. It was fun and fresh. Was it like top tier writing? No, but it was a fun and easy read. Even the violent scenes weren’t too bad. I’ll def be reading more of her stuff. Plus sis def knows how to write GOOD SMUT.
When Lena’s mum is kidnapped, Lena contacts her mum’s ex Jamie and from there it all gets very messy. Jamie and Lena are undeniably attracted to each other but before they can move forward Lena’s relationship with her mother needs to be sorted out. This story has a lot going on to keep you interested, the mystery surrounding who is trying to kill Jamie, his relationship with Lena, plus the truth about his past with her mum. All in all a very readable story with some tense story lines. The epilogues tie everything up nicely for their HEA.

This is book 332 of A Man Who Knows What He Wants. This book is great. Each series gets better and better from Flora Ferrari. She was in love for so long but because he was her mother's ex, she won't be with him. Jaime always loved her and knew she was the one a few years ago but kept to himself. When her mom was taken, he was there for Lena. The more they submerged into this they became closer, and the passion was not denied. Thier love was explosive, and it was not able to be denied or destroyed. A great ending and a great love story.

I loved Kidnapped By My Mom’s Ex Book 332 of A Man Who Knows What He Wants. Lena doesn’t know what to do. Someone has kidnapped her mother, her only option is call the police or call her moms ex Jamie. The past is not what it seems but Lena doesn’t believe Jamie and until her mom can clarify she has to believe her. Jamie will help find her mom but at what cost. He has locked her away. Did she make a bad choice? This was a great storyline and I loved the characters. They have such an electric connection. This has drama, suspense and lots of steamy scenes. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Jamie works for a site on the dark web and a whole backstory comes out after he kidnaps Lena. He had once helped her mother with some crypto currency but now she has disappeared. This is definitely a dark tale of suspense and intrigue in all the paths they take to get out of dangerous situations. Lots of action, shootings, threats, twists, surprises, dark dank cells, hidden agendas, hidden safe houses, trust and truth, revelations and more that kept the pages turning. Great characters that have such strength, chemistry and a steamy moment at the end.

In this book we meet Lena & Jamie. Lena gets a message stating that someone has her mom and if she doesn't give them her father's wallet her mom will die. The only person that she can think to go to is Jamie her mom's ex. Jamie has wanted Lena for longer than he should. That is part of what split up him and Lena's mom. Now that she has come to him for help he is taking his woman and not letting go. Can they find a HEA or will others make sure that never happens?
Another hit out of the park by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Lena reaches out to Jamie when her mother, Simone is kidnapped and gets more than she bargains for. Whilst she has always had a crush on her mum's ex, he is also a dark, scary guy.
Jamie has been utterly fixated on Lena from the first moment he saw her. She was underage then, so he squashed his feelings down hard and watched from afar. But Lena is now twenty one and has reached out to him so all bets are off. Low betide anyone who threatens the woman he loves.
A dark, intense romance with simmering passion, intrigue and action.

Lena and Jamie are characters that I really liked and enjoyed reading, I think that Flora did such a great job with telling their story.
Lena is worried about her mom that is missing and she goes to the only person she can think of to help her find her mom, but she finds out some things while she's with Jamie.
Jamie is a not your typical guy, he knows he's not a good man but that doesn't stop him from claiming Lena, he's wanted her for a long time and when she comes to him for help all bets are off. Highly recommend reading this book 10/10.

Another wonderful story from flora Ferrari. We follow the story of Lena and Jamie, Jamie briefly dates her mother. Their story is full of tension and kidnappings and violence and vague and shadowy people and organizations. Even though Jamie and Lena haven't seen or spoken to each other in over 2 years. he is the one she turns to when her mother disappears and she receives a threatening letter. A valid book that keeps you glued and plenty of steam and heat.

Lena's mom goes missing and she receives a ransom note, the first person she thinks to contact is Jamie King. Jamie used to date her mother. Jamie knew two years ago when he met Lena that she is what he was waiting for. He has to find a way keep her safe, he tricks her and keeps her locked in his penthouse while he finds her mother.
Jamie is having a hard time concentrating, Lena being in his home, is taking over his thoughts. Nothing is going to stop him from claiming her.

Wowsa this book is absolutely fantastic and Flora Ferrari does it again with another faced paced story filled with suspense and action packed and chemistry and romance and older man younger woman. Lena's mom is being held for ransom and she calls the only man who can help her but will it cost her more than falling for him? This book had me enthralled from the beginning until the end and sitting on the edge of my seat. Just loved it!.

This is a steamy age gap romance with plenty of action. It is well written and fast paced. I liked the characters, it has a bit of a taboo element as the main female character falls for her mom’s ‘ex’.
Lena needs Jamie’s help after her mom has been kidnapped. She has had a crush on him since she first met him a couple of years ago. Jamie is determined to make Lena his but needs to reunite her with her mom.
I enjoyed this story and it is another great read from Flora Ferrari.
