This is part three of a three part series. There are werewolves, vampires, and more in the world and fated mates are not as uncommon as everyone was led to believe. This series features a M/M, Daddy/little, Alpha/omega couple as they uncover the truths behind what happened to Ethan and why. Limited sexual situations. No depictions of "knotting". Heavy use of profanity and other creative uses of the English language.
I am a stay at home dog mom living it up in the insanity that is Northeast Ohio. When I'm not documenting the exploits of the characters in my head, I'm either reading or going to the Youngstown Phantoms hockey games (or making the drive to Pittsburgh to see the Pens). I will read just about any type of paranormal/supernatural fantasy out there (romance, thriller, dystopian, etc) so that's what I decided to start writing.
I've been telling stories since I was a kid. My parents love to remind me that until I was about eight or nine, I was insistent to anyone who would listen that my REAL parents were in a travelling circus and would be coming back for me someday. I also had a tendency to write short stories instead of paying attention in class throughout high school and college.
If you haven't already noticed already, I have a bit of ADHD going on in my brain. That's the reason I took so long to start putting stories to paper, so to speak, and get the publishing process going. Hopefully, there will be many more stories to come.
Book 1 was 4 ⭐️ for me, but in the end I would give the whole series 3 ⭐️maybe 3.5 ⭐️.
It was all just too much. I think the author tried to fit too much in for one character. Book one left me feeling like there must be more, and I was excited to figure out what other secrets the story had left to unfold. But by the end of book 2, I was kind of feeling , not overwhelmed, but this general sense of what else could this character possibly go through and how many more supernatural mixes could happen in one character. Particularly in a world where it doesn’t seem common.
There was just too much going on with Ethan. And it got to the point where it just started to feel ridiculous. He’s part shifter part fairy part witch and part vampire, and he’s a male omega, which is apparently rare. Or I think omega are rare in general. Anything that can go wrong does go wrong for him throughout the series and while he does eventually get his HEA, all of the stuff he went through just feels pointless. I mean yes he is a ruthless killer now when he needs to be but so much of what happened to him was about other characters, greed, and again it just seem like if it could go wrong, it would. Also, Rick’s character was so 2 dimensional. He almost felt like an afterthought.
So much time and effort was put into supe-ing up Ethan, that it felt like his alpha Rick got left behind. It almost felt like his sole purpose in the story was just too misunderstand Ethan and comfort him sometimes.
I don’t know I’m starting to feel like this review is like the book too many ideas for one review. So I will leave it with this: I felt like the author had too many ideas that they wanted to put in one book. There was a lot going on to the point that , the plot just started to feel chaotic.

I can't believe this book only has seventeen ratings as I'm writing this. I was completely enthralled with Ethan and his journey. I hope others will find this series and enjoy it as much as I have. Now that I've finished the series, I can appreciate the covers that the author chose for them. They represent Ethan well, his teddy bear Mr. Whiskers 🧸, and Jack's tiger, Tony 🐅. Once you've read the books, you'll understand how meaningful they are. This series is heavily plot driven. So if you're set on reading spicy moments, then this is not for you. I absolutely adored Ethan and his strength. He deserved happiness, and finally, he saw that through in the end. I'm really looking forward to reading more from this world. Definitely give this series a try!
After reading 4 book you just want to keep reading more about ric and Ethan. It’s sad they’ve come to and end but the series will continue. I wonder who is in store next for us.
