The perfect book if you like a modern romance mixed with dogs and an adorable little boy. She's more comfortable with dogs than with people, so she's drawn to the small boy and large dog who need her help. He's been walked out on before, but he's in over his head with the dog, and the pretty dog groomer seems his best bet. It's a one-step-forward, two-step-back path, but trust can build along the way.
This is Marc, Bria, Tyler, and Brownies' story. Marc is a widower, whose wife had been a party girl, she drove drunk and killed herself and a teenage boy. Brian was a supermodel, she made some really bad choices and left that life to come home, become a dog groomer with her brother. They opened their own dog grooming salon. Marc and his son Tyler have a dog name Brownie, Brownie needs grooming and how Marc and Bria meet.. It's a well written story of how Bria learns to forgive herself, you'll need to read the story what happens with the other characters.,
The dog plays cupid and the kid really added so much to the story. I wasn't into the story at first, but as soon as the hero's son came into the story it came alive. I realized the main couple had some deep storylines and interested problems to solve. Loved the dynamics of the family and the main couple's struggles. There was good depth and conflict mixed with love and laughter. Looking forward to future books in the series!
It didn’t say it was a religious story but that was the main factor. Every chapter has religious content What would God do. Is this what god wants for me. It just overtook the story for me. The characters were lovely but the smallest of things blown out of context and got a religious story grudges were held it just didn’t gel for me I’m afraid I wouldn’t recommend unless you want a religious read.
I really liked this book. It was cute and fun. I am a dog lover. This is the first book I have read of hears. If you like Christian romance and dogs than give it a try.
