Sandra Alex is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, and immigrated to the United States in 1978, to attend an intensive English course in Iowa City, IA, with additional training in transcription of spoken recordings, book editing, and English-Portuguese-English translations. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she currently lives with her husband. An entrepreneur turned creative writer, Sandra worked for ten years towards the publication of her first book while raising a daughter, starting up and running a successful software business with two partners, and consulting for major television studios. Currently, Sandra runs the small production company, Shoot to Film (www.shoottofilm.com), and has launched Livre Press, Inc. (www.livrepress.net) to support her career as a self-publishing author.

This is book one in The Harris Brother’s series and it is Caleb and Laney’s story and omg what a brilliant start to a new series. When Caleb’s father tells him that he had to find a way to marry Laney so that they can make a stronger stake in the clan Caleb thinks that his father had gone mad especially as Caleb couldn’t stand the woman at all but his father was so determined and Caleb needed to find a way around this terrible idea before things become even more complicated. When Laney sees Caleb she can’t help but harass and annoy him even though she thinks that he is handsome and had beautiful eyes but when he tells her what his father said she just laughs in his face saying she would never marry him or anyone else and then she walks away. When Caleb and Chas are taken in for questioning for the murder of Rachel, Laney put her opinions and accosted Caleb yet again and then she walks away making his absolutely furious and now Caleb and Chas are under suspicion of Rachel’s murder so now they need to clear their names. Caleb is keeping a big secret from his father and family and with him not being able to travel Laney decides to help Caleb especially because there attraction, chemistry and connection is getting stronger and stronger and they will have many ups and downs along the way and nothing is plain sailing for them at all but together they are a force to be reckoned with and are so perfect for each other in every single way but even though they encounter many difficult situations this book will have you turning the pages and unable to put this book down because this is so addictive and then you get a explosive cliffhanger ending that will have you on the edge of your seat needing the next book to see what happens next.

"Hitched" by Sandra Alex is an engaging romance novel featuring two charming main characters whose interactions are fun to follow. The story is light and entertaining, making it a great choice for an easy read.

The characters are the highlight of the book, with their witty exchanges and vibrant personalities. The plot, while predictable, provides a satisfying escape for readers. However, the main characters could have been fleshed out more to add depth and make their journey more compelling. Additionally, the secondary characters could have been better developed to enhance the story.

Despite these flaws, "Hitched" is a delightful read for fans of contemporary romance. If you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable story, this book is a good choice. I rate it 4 out of 10.

This is my first book I’ve read by Sandra Alex and I loved every minute of it I will definitely be reading more of her books and I’m dying for the next one in this series! This is Caleb and Laneys story both come from wealthy Scottish families that have a rivalry so they can’t stand each other . Caleb is the cocky confident smoot talking playboy and Laney is the sassy firey take no crap female. Until Caleb’s Da decides to make arrangements for them to marry… Laney thinks it’s crazy and says there is no way they can’t stand each other… but there really is a very very fine line between love and hate and things heat up❤️.

This is book one of the Harris brothers, this is Caleb's story. Life is full of challenges, navigating his family a challenge on its own. Caleb is told he needs to marry and it who it must be. It is for the good of the family. Laney McAdam's is a beautiful woman but she is both a family and professional adversary. She is to be Caleb's wife. A smooth flowing story that kept me on my toes as fate weaved it's way around these characters to bring them closer together. I enjoyed the story and look forward to more of the Harris family. By the way, this ends on a cliffhanger and a twist. Enjoy!.

And the best thing is that Harris series is linked with Ford. How amazing this is?
Both Caleb and Laney are wonderful characters - and in the battle between their wills, I kept sometimes with one sometimes with the other. But ultimately with both of them.
Both of them surprised me during this book (a good surprise) - not being what they first seem.
And now, I want the rest of the brothers stories - all the “I won’t fall ever” of them.

Sandra Alex takes enemies to lovers on a roller coaster of angst, drama, and suspense! Caleb and Laney really do not like each other, but there’s an intense attraction between them that turns the whole situation into an emotional and sexual experience! The fall is hard, steamy, and exquisitely romantic. I loved the story, getting to see more of the Fords, and the way the families embraced Caleb and Laney’s relationship. This ends on a cliffhanger that’s very scary! I can’t wait to read the next book!!.

I loved Caleb and his cocky attitude from the moment I saw him in the author's last book. However, Laney is another story - I thought her to be a straight-up *itch. Until she went with Caleb to meet Gretchen and Peg. Fortunately, for this purposes of this book, Caleb didn't take nearly so long to fall for her. It's a great story, and a cliffhanger that totally took me by surprise. Now I'll try to wait patiently for Played. Hitched is book 1 of the Harris brothers series. It's a steamy, enemies-to-lovers, arranged marriage romance that does end in a cliffhanger. Caleb is told by his Da that he needs to marry Laney to strengthen the family. She and him do not get along at all, lol. These two are like fire and gasoline together. The banter is hysterical, and the chemistry is hot! There are a lot of twists and turns. I am looking forward to the next book. This was my first book by this author but not the last.

I really enjoy the book! It was a page turner. The characters were great and i loved the tension between the two main characters. I hope there is a second book cause it ended with a bang that makes me not want to stop reading. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a romance novel with some smut. It was an easy read and was not able to put the book down.

Hitched is the first book in The Harris Brothers series. It was a well written story with captivating plot and likable characters. Caleb is told to marry Laney who is both a professional and family adversary . I enjoyed both the characters and the battle between these two . The book does end on a cliffhanger . This is the first time I am reading this author and cant wait to check out more of her books. I really enjoyed the authors writing style. Would highly recommend reading this author.

Book one of the Harris Series is so good. We met Caleb in the Ford Series. A successful business man, Caleb's father decides it is time for him to marry and has chosen his bride. Laney is a force. A strong no nonsense business woman, Laney is not on board with it. This author gives us a great emotional story with twists, turns, family drama and heart.

Money doesn't solve everything

Billionaires abound yet they're still just people, too. And people can be pressured by family to get the job done, regardless whether you want to do whatever they ask or not. Families are a blessing and can be a cross to bear, making the path to success screwy and bumpier than one would like. Loads of ups and downs to this HEA.

Not one of he best but gives the opportunity to meet another family of rich people.
The storyline was interesting and I fell for Peg like the families.
Once again I now have to wait for the next instalment..... looking forward to it.

Nice Story, with a good amount of Action and romance. I loved the Mains and their Chemistry was a bit hard to get into the story in the beginning, but then I found my pace. Can't wait for the other books.
