This is a super cute little story for small children that teaches them a bit about space. I really enjoyed reading this to my girls at bedtime and it's a perfect book to read after doing a bit of stargazing. The illustrations are simply adorable and the story flows along from one planet to another with a little information about each one as the pages go. My only complaint is the lack of Pluto. ;) But, I'll never get over Pluto getting demoted.
Short and educational. Smiley and lovely illustrations , engaging and rhyming. The uranus page was slightly different page as I had to turn my head to read the roundabout, this was the only page that somehow stands out from others therefore I don’t feel affected the book quality. This book easily sets your little Astronauts to sleep.
Another one by R. J. Hudson, this one goes through all the planets. When my son saw me open this book, he came running to read about all the planets and tried to guess them — that’s how I knew this one was a winner in our library. You will love the snack bites of factoids woven into rhymes, making learning about the planets in our solar system super fun! For young ones who enjoy rhymes, this book is fun to read. R. J.’s books are not your standard picture books so try adding this to your bedtime routine! Thank you to the author for sharing this with me.
The Tiny Astronaut is such an adorable and educational read! My little one has recently taken a big interest in space, so we picked this one randomly for bedtime – and it was a hit! The rhyming text and vibrant illustrations make learning about the planets and space so engaging. I can already tell this is one we’ll be rereading often; it's quickly become a favorite in our nighttime rotation!
This book is extra cute and fun to read. It's the perfect bedtime story. Not too long or short, and the ending was our favorite "3...2...1... blastoff!"
