As America bleeds, one man's relentless chase for the world's deadliest terrorist begins.
In the wake of gut-wrenching terrorist attacks across the American heartland, the Prosecution Force—led by relentless black ops specialist Reed Montgomery—is entrusted with one capturing Abdel Ibrahim. Known as the world's number one terrorist, Ibrahim has eluded them before.
Following leads to Beirut, a city mired in chaos and distrust, the stakes are raised. Every alley hides danger, and every contact could be a potential traitor. Just when Reed believes they have their man cornered, Ibrahim vanishes, leaving behind a chilling clue—a weapon, more devastating than anything they’ve ever encountered.
Tracing him to London’s shadowy streets, Reed and his team must navigate a web of deception, betrayal, and looming threats. With time running out and Ibrahim's next strike imminent, the Prosecution Force finds themselves in a deadly race against a ticking clock.
Terror knows no boundaries. But neither does the determination of the Prosecution Force.

Characters that i had mentioned in the past reviews of earlier books in the series as being detracting of a higher score for the books continued a downward spiral. One of the main, no two of the main characters who were somewhat descent also became disappointing. I feel like this book is a good time to stop with the series. As this book ended, there were only 2 of the side characters that were is good enough for me to follow and I would hate for them to follow the path of the main characters.
I received this book from Logan Ryles, his publisher (Severn River Publishing), and the fine folks at NetGalley in return for an honest review.
This is the sixth book in Ryles' exciting thriller series about Reed Montgomery and the members of the Prosecution Force, the blackest of black ops teams
In the aftermath of a pair of deadly chemical weapons (VX) attacks resulting in the deaths of approximately 5,200 souls in the states of Tennessee and Louisiana, this novel details the relentless chase for the world's deadliest terrorist begins by the Prosecution Force.
In the wake of gut-wrenching terrorist attacks across the American heartland, the Prosecution Force—led by relentless black ops specialist Reed Montgomery—is entrusted with capturing Abdel Ibrahim. Known as the world's number one terrorist, Ibrahim has eluded them before - the terrorist whose bomb shrapnel almost killed Banks and did kill their unborn daughter. The terrorist who attempted to assassinate President Trousdale and left her with a non-functioning liver that may kill her yet. The Prosecution Force is back in the good graces, sort of, with the CIA and Director Aimes has placing all hope on them. Looks like Ibrahim got his hands on a nuke and is extremely adept at staying one step ahead of them. He also seems to be an expert on leaving false clues.

While the main story arc is straightforward, there are so many layers behind it you begin to wonder who is pulling the shooter’s strings. This novel also details some of the political machinations behind the American presidency and the geopolitical machinations amongst the nuclear powers of the world.
Once again Mr. Ryles does an excellent job of developing characters in this series, especially Vice President Stratton. In the previous books, he hasn’t been fully informed of the Prosecution Force, however when faced with the reality of the situation one is left to wonder if he is fully supporting them or if he has ulterior motives once he comes to understand their capabilities.
Logan Ryles' action thrillers would be a definite favourite of those readers who are aficiandos of other action thriller authors such as Paul Heatley, Jason Kasper, Blake Banner, and Ian Loome. On a five-star rating, I would easily give this novel a solid four stars. While I was late to discover Logan Ryles’ writing I know I’ll be going back and reading his previous books to get the full backstory on Reed Montgomery. This was a very exciting read and the next one promises to be even better.
As with all my literary ramblings, these are just my five cents worth.
I received an ARC through "Severn Publishing" and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This story begins with Reed arriving home, but he is not in a good mode since he missed getting Abdel Ibrahim. He is moody and decides to leave for a drive. Shortly he receives a call to get the Prosecution Force in action. They are to try and capture Abdul. They get a location and immediately take off to Lebanon to get him. When they arrive, a gun battle ensues and Abdel gets away. They then have to wait until there is another sighting. Reed, using information he gathers through the internet believes that he knows where Abdel is now. Shortly, Reed is notified by Langley that they believe that Abdel has been located. The location that they relayed did not match that which Reed believed. Using his gut feeling, he directed his team to go to the oil rig site. Once they arrived, another gun battle ensued and Abdel escaped once again. They were told to stand by until a new location was discovered.
The next location that Abdel was seen was in England, so the team went there. It was determined what target Abdel was aiming for. Once the target was identified, the team went into action.
To discover what this target was, why it was selected and what other potential target was planned, then you need to read this book. Discover what events were happening that impacted the Executive branch.
The ending will have you waiting to discover what happens next. Don't miss out on this book and reading the rest of the series.
The best story of the Prosecution Force thriller series!
White Alert, the latest Prosecution Force offering, takes the series to a new level of action not to mention a deeper level of character interaction. Through the first five books Reed Montgomery and his team of operators have taken on several enemies of the state in a very clinical manner. But in White Alert Montgomery is on the hunt not only for his country, but on a deeply personal level with an extra and unexpected teammate.
While I have enjoyed all the previous stories in this series, White Alert held me captive in ways that the other stories never could. Reed’s personal turmoil sets this story apart from the others and sets the stage for whatever comes next in an unexpected manner.
If you have read the first five Prosecution Force thrillers, White Alert is a must read. If you happen to be reading this review and have never read any of Logan Ryles’ Reed Montgomery stories, do yourself a favor and start with Brink of War. Sure, I guess White Alert could be read as a standalone story, but so much back story would be missing it wouldn’t have the same impact as if you had read its predecessors.
I received an Advance Reader Copy of White Alert from the publisher and chose to provide my review.
Wow...if you're looking for a super-intense, fly by the seat of your pants adventure that will take you through a roller coaster of emotions, you've found your next book. In a race against time, the Prosecution Force has their work cut out for them, and we're all along for the riveting chase.
With Ryles' tendency to include real world places in all their true to life turmoil, it brings the actions to the realm of possibility beyond the pages of his books. The scenarios brought to life are ones we can only hope never get lived out in our own world. I won't kid you - that's a bit scary to me, but it's also a testamount to his writing style and deep research.
Add in an ending that defies expectations, we're perfectly set up to anticipate the next book in the series. Masterfully done, and highly recommended!
After two major terrorist attacks on America, there is no way Reed is sitting this one out. He is focused. Focused on Ibrahim, the terrorist whose bomb shrapnel almost killed Banks and did kill their unborn daughter. The terrorist who attempted to assassinate President Trousdale and left her with a non functioning liver that may kill her yet. The Presecution Force is back in the good graces, sort of, with the CIA and Director Aimes has placed all hope on them. Looks like Ibrahim got his hands on a nuke and is extremely adept at staying 1 step ahead of them. He also seems to be an expert on leaving false clues. But Montgomery is focused. Very exciting read and the next one promises to be even better.
A propulsive thriller that grabbed me in page one all the way until the end. Not that the end is The End! This story is book six from The Prosecution Force series featuring black ops specialist, Reed Montgomery, and his crew. While I have read (and enjoyed) other books from this author, this is my first from this series. I did not find it lacking any information; each character was well fleshed out although there is a deeper background to Montgomery’s past that sounds well worth looking into. Exciting action with a ratcheting tension of political intrigue had me turning pages non-stop. I’m going to have to start this series at the beginning while I eagerly wait for book 7!
I received a free copy from Netgalley. This is my unbiased review.
Prosecution Force Series: Source: Ryles' ARC team. White Alert, #6 - Full of intrigue and suspense, multiple players, and interesting story lines. Add in a few happenings and surprises to make a hard to put down book. 5*
Failed State, #4 - My first of this series and I did not miss the first three books. Standalone, interesting with Wolfgang as a member of another "group". 4*
Firestorm, #5 - Totally mesmerizing. I could not put down this action-filled, fast-paced, intriguing story with its great, and no so good, characters and interesting story lines. Enjoyed Wolfgang's prosthesis. 15*
Wow what a great read ,with Maggie very unwell .and another threat being made Reed and his team are kept busy trying to tract down the man who nearly killed Banks and killed their child ,Reed and his team will stop at nothing to track them down . After stopping one attack by reed and killing the man ,Reed learns this was a distraction and also there is another party is involved and the hunt for the real thing and everyone is on high alert to track to nuclear bomb . Very fast paced and was holding my breath ,great storyline and full of intense action . Great read and will keep you reading can't wait for the next book to continue the story .
Excellent storyline following on from previous story's.
Yet again the author takes you into the murky world of greed and corruption and ultimately the deaths of thousands of innocent people so that politicians who crave world domination can get their way even if it means nuclear weapons being used against defenceless civilians. The prosecution force find themselves fighting against an as yet unidentified enemy who use terrorists to hide their involvement in these despicable acts, but the one thing that they didn't account for was Montgomery Reed and his team who will stop at nothing to bring justice for the innocent lives that have been lost.
Reed Montgomery is the go to guy for finding terrorists. A great story with Montgomery chasing Abdel Ibrahim across American and into Europe after a devastating attack in America. Ibrahin somehow manages to stay one step ahead of Montgomery all the time which eventually Thrilling plot with extremely well developed characters. The story line moves along in its intensity and pulls you right along with it, 100%. Waiting impatiently now for the next adventure in the life and times of Reed Montogomery.
The premise of this story – terrorists with a WMD planning assaults on Western nations infrastructure is timely and of significant importance. However, the characters were flat and very one-dimensional. So much so that it was not until the last few chapters that I became interested enough to emphasize them and care whether they survived or not! I received an ARC from NetGalley, and the opinions expressed are my own.
Best prosecution force, Reed Montgomery high stakes world domination thriller yet from Logan Ryles. So many players, personalities and allegiances that you can get lost if trying to pass time. I read this book during downtime at work, hoping that my downtime would line up with the end of a chapter or just hoping for more downtime. Thanks for the great read time well spent.
I've read all the books in this series rating them a four or five stars. While Alert is a continuation of the story with most of the main characters included. I honestly couldn't get into it. The story dragged throughout. The ending was unsatisfying. I may read the next, but unless Logan Rules steps it up it will be my last Persecution Force novel.
Reed and the Prosecution force need to track down and stop Ibrahim before he launches his next attack. They are close behind but he is always a step ahead. President Maggie is sick but she won't stop until she finds and stops the person responsible for the attacks in the US. The pf needs to work with colleagues, including the Brits. In this series sometimes the baddies are successful making for great tension. Great fast paced action.
I received an advanced copy of this book for my honest review. This is a continuation of a great series. There is enough action to keep the reader interested and it has twists and turns to keep the reader guessing. The ending will keep the reader looking for the next book. I highly recommend this book and the series.
This book kept my pulse rate up throughout it. It is terrifying because it could happen in our world. I was frustrated that the ending makes it necessary to buy the next book (though it's only $4.99) - especially since the next book won't be released for another month and I want to know the outcome now. Excellent character development and so timely
Another great page turner from the creative, and somewhat warped mind of Logan Ryles. The only thing you’ll regret is not reading this book and having uninterrupted time to read it.
I enjoyed precious books in the series more. I got a little tired of the health issues regarding the president. The last third of the book really picked up and I enjoyed the story. I will be moving onto the next one.
I wonder what kind of mind can think up disasters like these? If what happened in this book were to happen, it would cause all kinds of chaos. If you read I’m sure you’ll have your own thoughts about it.
White Alert is an excellent read. Logan Ryles has continued his excellence with this series. The book is interesting, enjoyable suspenseful and exciting. I'm looking forward to the next edition.
Back on track, White Alert is fast paced action novel that is hard to put down. With a plot taken from the world today, the author spins a complex web of intrigue. Highly Recommend
The book begins with a bioweapon attack on Tennesse when many people are killed and Reed Montgomery, a black Ops specialist is assigned to track down and take out the terrorist, Abdel Ibrahim who has escaped to Montreal and then onwards to Beirut. This is the sixth book of the Prosecution series and in the earlier book, Ibrahim had almost killed Banks but killed their unborn daughter with a bomb. He was also responsible for injuring grievously, the President. There is another sub-story of the political tussle within the Government over the endorsement of the new CIA director, Aimee who is directing the operations to find the terrorist Ibrahim. Ibrahim manages to elude the Prosecution Force and keeps dropping false clues to divert the Force. Though Ibrahim is finally eliminated, the world is faced with an even bigger disaster as his last act succeeded and has left the world economy in a shambles. An engrossing story that needs to be completed in one sitting. Thank you Seven Rivers Publishing for providing this book for review consideration via Edelweiss Plus. All opinions are my own.
