When Chaff Whitney inherits the Flying Diamond – the biggest ranch in the county – he thinks his years of dangerous living as a Texas Ranger are over.

Accompanied by his loyal partner Todd Buell, he rides for Singing Springs to claim what is rightfully his and live out the rest of his days peacefully on his ranch.

Of course, things are never that simple in the Old West.

The duo’s new neighbour, Miller Haine, has sent some of his men to run out a so-called ‘nestor’ from the land – and the lawman in Whitney does not approve of such violent methods.

Whitney and Buell know they must act fast if they want to secure their authority amongst these opportunistic neighbours.

But Haine wants to be top dog, and his greedy desires overrule any likelihood of a compromise between the men.

There’s only one way to settle this – the old-fashioned way.

But has Haine underestimated the law-abiding Whitney?

Big Saddle is a thrilling Western from a master of the genre.

Gostei.
