A MUST READ!!
K.J. Jones has quite a gift. I believe the characters are well thought out and the plot is well developed. With everyone scattered across the country as we start book seven, I was impressed by the author's ability to jump from group to group and keep both every one AND the storyline moving along collectively.
I have thoroughly enjoyed all seven installments of this absolutely flipping crazy-good series! Extinction Level Event has got it all! Southerners, Northerners, Easterners and Westerners!! And the greatest thing about the characters? Peter says it best with those are my people!
I love the fact that they focus on community and growth as they work hard to meet their needs today and prepare for tomorrow. No matter what it takes, they're all going to give their all for each other. And ... the babies ... Yes, folks, as in more than one! Wanna know who??? Go! Read! 😉
I would absolutely, highly recommend this book and this series. A government coup, growing zombie outbreaks and fighter jets! What could possibly go wrong?

Did it again!!!
This entire series is phenomenal! I've read the entire thing several times now. My only issue resides in the editing. They definitely need more read throughs with fixes; there's a lot of missing words and grammatical errors to sort through. It can make the reading a little more challenging, but the books are totally worth it. I'm waiting on book 8, and it already feels like forever before I find out what's next for my favorite characters!

I love this series. I’m hoping book 8 will be released soon as I’m so invested in these characters. I love the characters, the dialogue is so funny and realistic, and the family dynamics are really good. If you have read RR Haywood’s The Undead series I think you will also love this series.

This one was a lot of fun. Sad I have to wait for the remaining books in the series now! I’m looking forward to them.
