Holy darkness!

Emery LeeAnn knows exactly what she was doing when she wrote Hideous Things! It is something I highly recommend for horror lovers, especially during spooky season! This was a quick twisted read that I really enjoyed and definitely look forward to more from Emery!

This was my first book by Emery and let me tell you. It gave me goosebumps and just in time for Halloween. I don't usually like to read spooky books but, this one was just perfect. Just enough to scare you yet keep your attention the entire time. A short read with a bunch of stories to keep you up at night.

what in the world did I just read?

I gave this a four because it was well-written but horrifying. I need to read something else to wash my mental pallet. I can’t go to sleep after this. Trigger warning: torturing and murdering children for sick pleasure. I’m glad it was a short read. Would’ve been a DNF otherwise.
