It’s not like I need a daddy. Sure it’s fun to get cuddles and to be treated like I’m special and to give all my worries to someone else for a bit, but that’s not the same as needing a daddy. At least that’s what I keep telling myself, especially when I open the toy cars on my Advent calendar one by one, accidentally reminding myself just how close Christmas is with each one.
Maybe if I order myself something little and fun, it will make the season merrier. Can’t hurt to try.
Hermie is a sweet with daddy heat MM Christmas romance where Hallmark meets daddy sweetness and true love always wins. It features a little who accidentally finds his new holiday onesie misdelivered and a stuffed octopus in its place, a daddy who realizes he gave the one who got away the wrong package, rekindled crushes, new beginnings, and the octopus stuffie that brings them together. If you love low-angst second-chance romances featuring hot daddies, adorable boys, age play, cookie, hot cocoa, tree decorating, snow angels, sitting on Santa’s lap, true love, happy ever afters, and Christmas Magic, download Hermie today. **Hermie is part of A Daddy for Christmas, a multi-author series. All the books are standalones, but each Daddy has a unique gift for his wonderful boy (or boys). Except all boys know that sometimes Santa gets it wrong, and it's going to take a very special Daddy to make it right. So why not read them all?
These "Daddy for Christmas" and "Found by Daddy series books written by Della Caine, are more like novellas than full length books...but they are so full of love and happiness that more than makes up for their shortness. They all have, thus far, had wonderful, happy, warm endings.
Hermie is simply adorable...no other word for him. He's just the right mix of sweet and steamy, wrapped up and put together for the holidays. He does the right thing when he let the Toy Store know that the gift that was delivered to him was not the one that he had ordered...and as a result he made a Merry Christmas wish come true, when Erik from the Toy Store told Hermie to keep the gift and he delivered the right one to a sweet little boy recovering from surgery. In spite Hermie being disappointed that Santa didn't deliver the gift he was expecting, it was okay as Santa had an even better gift in store for him and it didn't even need to be gift wrapped.
Erik's family owned the Toy store. It was a place that you wouldn't have to be kid to want to visit. Erik and Hermie knew and "liked" one another in high school but lost contact over the years...Erik delivering the gift made a reconnection possible between the two guys and it was absolutely perfect. As I said these books are all short, a little over 100 pages but like all of them, they are well paced, all are age play (Daddy/little), with romance as well as adult interactions....and this one come with a giant helping of holiday sugar cookies.
Hermie is adorable, the right blend of sweet and steamy for the holidays! I love that Hermie speaks his mind and plants the seed for a sweet surprise for a child, despite being disappointed that Santa didn't deliver the gift he was expecting....
Della Cain balanced all of the elements of this story well and packed them neatly into this holiday novella. It was well paced, with a good helping of holiday sugar, age play, romance and adult interactions. There is a bit of ABDL, but the story truly focuses on the emerging Daddy/little relationship and Hermie reconnecting with Erik!
Hermie and Erik were close friends back in college, but neither had the courage to ask for more. It's now several years later, and they've found each other again. Everything happens pretty quick, but it worked for these guys.
Hermie by Della Cain is part of A Daddy for Christmas series by multiple authors. This book is about Erik and Hermie. I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels and very well written
This book is part of a multi-author A Daddy for Christmas series. Each book is a standalone. I enjoyed this book. It is the story of Hermie and Erik. Hermie is a little who doesn't have a daddy but he is certain that he is "fine" without one. Erik is a daddy who hasn't had a little in awhile. The two of them have the most adorable cute meet. Friends in college but neither was confident enough to push for more. They reconnect when Hermie accidentally receives the wrong gift delivered by Erik. This is their story. I found it a sweet holiday read. I liked how they dates as adults before they brought the little/daddy aspect into their relationship. Also the fact that Hermie doesn't want a daddy to handle everything in his life. He only wants to hand over control when he is in little head space. I enjoyed that change from other books. I really enjoyed this book.

A short and sweet Christmas read about college friends that bump into each other later in life, taking the chance they missed before. These two were friends in college but neither one had the confidence yet to ask them out on a date. They would think of each other from time to time but never thought they'd see each other again. Hermie decides to buy himself a Christmas gift that also benefits a charity with the club. Erik is helping his brother at the family toy store and delivering packages. Erik has the tendency to be slow and make mistakes when it comes to this task unfortunately. On his last delivery for the day, he comes face to face with Hermie and neither one is sure how to handle this reunion. Come to find out, the package delivered wasn't Hermies. Once these two get together they're adorable and very open in their communication now.
Hermie is a Little without a Daddy and although it is not the same he keeps telling himself that he is fine. He is careful to only open one window on his advent calendar and remove the cars for himself. So he orders himself something little and fun for Christmas. But he accidentally finds his new holiday onesie misdelivered and a stuffed octopus in its place, a daddy who realizes he gave the one who got away the wrong package, rekindled crushes, new beginnings, and the octopus stuffie that brings them together.
This was a really sweet story that brought back together two men who were perfect for each other now that they have both matured and the time is right. I loved their relationship and the clear and easy way they communicated with each other. This is a story with all the feels. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.
Hermie is a Little who loves cars and who doesn't have a Daddy. He knows he doesn't have to have a Daddy to be happy but he really would like one for Christmas. Hermie hears about a fundraiser that his club Collar'd is holding for a youth shelter and decides to order a custom onesie to be delivered by Santa. He is very surprised a few days later when he gets a delivery from his old college friend, Erik. Hermie had always wanted to be more than friends with Erik but back then he was too unsure of himself to make a move. Hermie mentions to Erik that he was expecting Santa to deliver the present. The next day he is surprised to find Santa Erik at his door. Erik asks him on a date. Hermie may get his Christmas wish.

Hermie is a sweet novella in the Collared series. It was nice to read about Hermie and Erik getting their second chance at love. The story is dual pov. I will say that Hermie seemed to read as more adult than I'm used to in these stories, not seeming young at heart or in need of a Daddy to guide or protect him. But by the time we reached about 60%, Hermie and Erik got some Daddy/Little time together and we got to see Hermie being little which was fun. There was a lot of glossing over things or speeding time up, but what was fleshed out was adorable. And the holiday celebration at the club Collared was just as amazing as always. I love reading about all the fun activities they come up with for their littles. Those were my favorite scenes.
3.5 stars Hermie and Erik were great friends in college, but neither had the courage to ask the other out and then went their separate ways. Some years later they are reunited after a mix up with a delivery. Friendship is renewed and Hermie is finally brave enough to ask Erik out. Their connection builds quickly, expecially once they finally have the Daddy/little discussion and find they are compatible in that area as well. This is a short, sweet story with love, Christmas, and HEA. However, it felt a little flat to me. I read an ARC that still needed editing as there were missing words and small errors that will hopefully be corrected for the final copy.

This was a really cute story about a Little boy named Hermie. Hermie had been on his own for awhile, but wanted a daddy of his own, and when he saw his old crush Erik, he wish that he had been brave and had asked him out on a date. Erik was delivering toys for his brothers toy shop, just before Christmas and delivered the wrong parcel to Hermie. he was disappointed that Hermie wasn’t as excited to see him as he thought he would be but little did he know things were going to change. This was a really sweet story, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, there is a happy ending for this couple and many Christmases to come in the future.

This was a heartfelt, wonderful book. Erik and Hermie were amazing characters who had history in college (as friends only). The meet cute was so adorable, and the way Erik extended the time was so "Daddy" and caring. I loved that Hermie stepped outside his comfort zone to go after what he really wanted, too.
I couldn't help but wonder if they lost some years together, but I don't think so. They each grew in their time apart. Fine tuning the kind of man they wanted to be, and ultimately, the man the other fell in love with.
Just an aside, I adored the family support characters, especially Erik's brother. Hilarious! I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily provide this review. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Happy Reading Y'all 📚

Wow, I absolutely loved reading this book it was fantastic, the story gave me a flutter of the heart and the characters were really sensational. This story was about Hermie and Erik, they both had crushes on each other at college they both were young then. A few years later Erik was doing deliveries he just happened to deliver the parcel to the wrong address only to be shocked. Can they have a second chance the chemistry between them was hot electric and "O" so juicy.

I enjoyed this book. It was a cute read. Hermie wished he had a Daddy to spend Christmas with. He decided to order his first personalized onesie from a Santa Delivery fundraiser. But when his old college crush showed up with a different delivery, maybe he'll get his wish after all. Erik is college professor on break for the holiday and helping to make some deliveries. He delivers to the wrong address and is reunited with Hermie, whom he'd always had a crush on. Hermie wanting a delivery from Santa gave him an idea, and then brought them back together. A fun, sweet read and I thought the two of them were really cute together. (And I want that octopus stuffie! <3 ) 4 stars.
Erik just wants to take time off and write his book for the holidays. Instead his brother Art ropes him into delivering gifts for the toy store, he and Erik inherited from their fathers. While Art is delivering a present he ends up at the wrong house, and sees Hermie. Hermie and Erik were best friends in college and crushed on each other but were too nervous to give it another try. A second chance just might be perfect, especially when they find out how compatible they are. It's a sweet story, with a little who loves cars, and a Daddy who loves spoiling him.
Christmas and daddy/boy stories seem to go hand in hand with sweetness, candy canes, and prezzies. What can I say? I have a soft spot for them and this author does these stories well. This was a nice twist with both men being the same age, former college friends who had a crush but never acted on it. Now a quirk of fate brings them together just in time to celebrate a whole month of holiday cheer.
Methinks I'll keep going onward and polish off Ms. Cain's backlist of holiday stories and more.
**Heart Eyes** Absolutely enjoyed this second chance holiday romance. When a delivery mix up brought old college friends back together...both realized they need act on feelings long denied. This was a delight...I don't read too many same age daddy/little dynamic and it was great. Hermie and Erik rekindled their friendship which led to more. They were so sweet and adorable together I could have gotten a toothache while reading...LOL I highly recommend this sweet with a little kinky heat romance.

BORING. Literally so so boring. I'm not sure what happened to Della Cain and the last few years but her books are not good anymore. I remember when The first Collared books came out and they were really good. Not like award-winning or anything but really solid engaging books and now everything I've read by her in the last year has been mass produced stereotypical emotionless garbage. Nothing happens in this freaking book. You don't get any details about who the characters are what they do what they like any of it. I don't even know how there's a hundred pages here when nothing happens.
Hermie is a Little who has no Daddy at Christmas. He goes to collared and decides to order a custom onesie. Instead he got the wrong delivery from an old friend Erik he had crushed on since college. This was Della's best Christmas Little book ever from start to finish. Hermie is so cute and Erik is all you could want in a Daddy. I totally enjoyed this Christmas prezzie from Della and you will, too. I received a copy of this book through Booksprout and this is my voluntary opinion.
This was a really sweet book. I loved Hermie and Erick together! These two were friends in college but both had crushes on the other and neither made a move. Now, after a delivery mix-up, these two are brought back together and Hermie can't pass up this chance. Erik and Hermie were exam who the other needed in their life and I enjoyed the HEA that these two got.

I loved this book! A misdelivered Christmas package will bring Hermie and Erik back together again. They were friends in college but lost touch. They get a second chance to have a relationship and it’s even better when they are just what the other needs! Add in some wonderful Christmas joy and you get a tale that is an absolute must read!.

Sweet story of opening oneself u to 2nd chances. Hermie, is a little who wants a Daddy, but he convinces himself he is fine without one. Hermie, does a lot of settling while trying to make the best of his situation. He and Erik, have history yet still don't know they share the same interests. They reconnect, then connect even deeper. Nice holiday story about growth and acceptance. Nicely done. Hot cover. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Adorable. Like an overload of Christmas cuteness. I’m so happy their accidental second chance worked out. And how they fell in love once again. I love this couple and hope we see them again with other Collared friends
Minor epilogue spoiler: I want to read about the Christmas octopus now. Maybe Della Cain should consider the occasional children’s book? And their unexpected potential audience?
This was a super adorable Christmas story. Hermie gets a second chance at love and finding a Daddy when his college best friend accidentally misdelivered a gift to his apartment. Erik wasn't expecting to make a toy delivery to the college friend he wanted to be more than friends with. These two were so sweet as they reconnected while going out on fun dates. I liked that Hermie was a mix of little and big at the same time.
This was a very sweet second chance romance, between two men who had crushes on each other and then lost touch. Now, they are older, and Daddy/little, and the magic of the Christmas season works to bring these two all they ever wanted, and more. I really enjoyed this book in the Daddy for Christmas series, and also enjoyed a few of the Collared crew showing up on the way to Hermie and Erik’s HEA.
Loved this quick sweet story! Hermie was adorable and just a sweetheart! He and Erik are just the sweetest things and make such a wonderful couple! This was a feel good read with some super sweet Christmas vibes and an adorable eight legged friend! Very sweet and enjoyable read!.

2.75* It was fine and what I expected but if they were such good friends in university, there was no explanation of how they lost touch and the daddy seemed much older but supposedly they are the same age? I don't know, I just never felt I understood why they didn't stay friends. Just didn't connect I guess.
I enjoyed how Erik realized that while he enjoyed Hermie when they met seven years ago, he wasn't aware he was a daddy. He had to grow into that and needed the time and maturity to be the perfect daddy. The support of Erik's family was cute.

I loved this story! Hermie and Erik's second chance after such a cute re-meeting was just absolutely delightful. They were so well-suited and their romance was lovely. This is a quick read; well-written and engaging. A real Christmas treat.

I loved A Daddy for Christmas: Hermie by Della Cain. I loved Erik and Hermie's story. It was so cute. I loved that Hermie named his octopus stuffie Cat and the joy he got each day as he opened his advent calendar of Matchbook cars.
