Still going strong, though the ending confused me

The MC and his harem takes over the city, but gets betrayed and incarcerated. He escapes, violently and puts most of his advesaries to the sword just before high tier emissaries from the emperor arrive. Yet dangerous creatures fromnthe north arrive and it takes all he and the emissaries can do to scout the approaching colossus. Both the MC and some of his inner circle get captured but in the end they prevail. The epilogue was unclear to me, but danger still abounds as higher tier enforcers from the emperor are likely to pay a visit.

The writing, worldbuilding and creativity continue to impress me. However Im skipping past the bedroom scenes as they are becoming overwelming and tedious. Though they are an integral part of the story, its just too much. I will take a break before continuing with this series.

Great series!!

The author spins a great story for everyone to read. I have also looked and read some of the other series that the author has published and found them to be great stories as well. If you happen to see reviews about typo's or the lack of third party editing please know that they are minimal and in no way impact the story. I also wonder if the reviewers who feel the need to make their comments about a misused word instead of how great the story was or wasn't, have actually tried to self publish their own novels or stories. It's easy to critizes from the peanut gallery when the reviewer has never attempted to publish themselves. The story is great and I hope for more.

Excellent series

I have enjoyed the first three books of this series immensely. Evan and his growing harem of powerful woman. The book is filled with action, adventure and enough spice to fill several spice racks. I enjoy his problem solving and how he handles the women in his life. Free will can be a bitch! I'm curious as to how he handles the little rebels and the mana drainers in the dungeon. On to book 4!

This seemed very familiar as I read it. This confused me until I remembered that I'd read ahead on Scribblehub. It remains an interesting take on the portal/harem genre, and I'll try not to read any more before the next book comes out so I don't ruin it for myself.

Very good book

This is a fine fantasy harem adventure novel. It is well written and edited. I especially like the naga. I anxiously await the sequel.

Man oh man oh man! Superb! I need book four IMMEDIATELY!! Okay, I still have some issues… I’ve stated this in my last two reviews but the story quality has just bumped up so good! Also I’m shocked at the losses in the]is series… man… also, to be honest I think Evan is making a mistake giving these newly minted masters such large harems… I would be literally covered from head to toe in marks 😂 naturally I’d cherry pick them… also I know it would be hard to cultivate relationships with a large harem, I am over exaggerating the size of my harem though but I’d at least have 20. 🤘🏾👊🏾 also Avya and Shennalil have truly brought me to tears of laughter multiple times in this series… with Arya’s mischief to Shennalils usage of a certain four letter word… the way she uses it just had me crying 😂🤣. I’m so glad Evan is being more open with his girls and expressing his feelings now. I’m upset that he’s let some of the biggest violators of the law live though. I mean he’s killed for less and leaving traitors alive is just silly in my opinion. I don’t like loose ends. It gives the bad guys more opportunities to come back at you in the end. Also I was kinda shocked Evan didn’t increase rank by more than two stars when he killed those “you know” 🫣😉. Don’t want to spoil that. I’m very excited about future books. I can read this series for many more books to come. I hope we get more and more. I like Lockes sense of humour when it comes to some things… like the take me down to paradise city 😂. I couldn’t stop laughing. Even though book one was rocky for me this has turned spectacular. Well, time to fiddle with another series until we get more books. Onward lads!
