Witches of Hollow Cove #11
Pazzie nel Calderone (Le Streghe di Hollow Cove Vol. 11)
I was engaged.
Okay, so I wasn’t technically engaged. But I did fantasize about it. A lot. Okay, all the time. No need to pretend.
The only problem here was when couples got engaged, there was usually a proposal of sorts, an exchange of promises, and a mutual agreement to spend the rest of their lives together. But three weeks have now passed since the night I found that black box with that pretty ring, and still, the chief hasn’t proposed.
But I’ve got worse problems.
A mysterious and ominous curse spreads across our town, and we don’t know who’s responsible or why it’s happening. This curse could mean the destruction of Hollow Cove and all its people.
Things soon spiral down the crapper when the folks from our town start acting crazy and lashing out in a frenzy of madness before dropping dead from this mystifying curse.
With our lives on the line and my magic mojo back, it will take everything I have to survive.

The Witches of Hollow Cove audiobooks are best listened to in the order of their release. While each book contains a mystery or dilemma, Tessa’s magic and relationships with her family & local sheriff are best enjoyed from the beginning. Brewing Crazy ties in closely with events in Cosmic Jinx.
Now that Tessa has her mojo back, she is enjoying life in Hollow Cove. Her living arrangements have changed, but she keeps waiting for Marcus to propose. Only he doesn’t and that has her worried. She’ll have to set that aside because townsfolk are going insane before dropping dead from a curse that has even the Davenport witches stumped.
Filled with danger, snark and spells Brewing Crazy was indeed crazy. Tessa and her aunts will need to discover who is casting dark magic before the town is lost. As always, I had fun with Tessa and Marcus. I love their back-and-forth banter. Tessa’s snarky attitude gets her in trouble with more than just the local mayor. In fact, she may be responsible for the anger behind these curses.
Before the case is wrapped up and the margaritas can be consumed, Tessa will take flight, discover what Marcus is up to, and capture the mastermind behind these attacks.
The Hollow Cove series is perfect for fans of fun, light paranormal, cozy mysteries. I always end up laughing and removing my earbuds with a smile.
Devon Sorvari narrates and does a wonderful job with Tessa. Her voices for Tessa’s over the top aunts, mayor and male voices are perfectly done and capture the feel of the series. I highly recommend listening This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Reviewer

Another action-packed adventure with Tessa that kept me glued to the pages and gulping up the story in one sitting.
I love Tessa and Marcus. Their interactions and banter bring them to life. They make me laugh and gush with love.
Another really well written story with fantastic imagery and world building, and with a storyline that is filled with laughs, mystery, drama, violence and edge of your seat twists and turns that keep you highly entertained right to the end.

Big problem in Hollow cove. Three persons are found death. Killed by want appears to come from a curse. Cause by Black Magic. This isn't good. And nobody knows who might have do it. Think goes crazier as the curse starts affecting more people and start lashing at each other before dropping death. Tessa must found who did it before it affects everyone.
I have really loved this one. Can't wait for the next book in the serie. I have received an arc of this book from the author.

Good to the last line
I was hooked reading this series from the beginning. It just continued to get better and better to the end. Of course having 3 aunts that mirrored the "Golden Girls" even down to their first initials and similarities just added to it. A+++++

This was really good but now I'm wondering if was the final book. If so, I will be sad this series has ended. I've enjoyed every one of these books.

Tessa's got her magic back, and after another test by Greta and Silas, she's a Merlin again.To top that all off House created a cottage, the exact replica of itself for Tessa and Marcus.
It's been three weeks since Tessa saw the ring that fell out of Marcus' jeans. He still hasn't asked the question, and Tessa is now wondering if he's changed his mind. They have moved into Davenport Cottage together, and Tessa is planning to cook a nice meal for him, have we mentioned she can't cook?
All things considered it's not a surprise when Gilbert puts in his two cents while Tessa's getting the needed groceries. He's fining her five thousand dollars, for not getting the proper permits to build the cottage on Davenport land. He's even claiming it's not zoned for it. On top of that, he's also deducting three weeks from her paycheck for not having her magic during that time. Oh, and she has 30 days to pay the fine before interest starts adding on. She's not sure how that's going to happen.
As she's processing that, Martha joins her, and she's not about to share with the gossip what Gilbert is up to now. Then everything goes to hell, well in a manner of speaking that is.
Screaming right in front of the store, has Tessa throwing money at the cashier and works her way through the crowd outside. Now usually it's Gilbert who panics the town, but this time it's Martha as she starts screaming it's a demon possession. Tessa's sure it's a curse or hex but it's different, darker, more evil. Before she can even call her aunts, the man stabs himself.
With the man identified as real estate agent Arlo Miller, her Aunt Ruth uses her dust to try to identify it. What they discover is that it's a black magic curse, and then Marcus finds Arlo's wife dead as well. To top that off, Beverly finds her date Bernard dead as well. So that's three bodies and no answers.
Things only get worse as Gilbert puts the town on quarantine. We all know how well shifters do with confinement.
Iris wants to be helpful since she knows a bit about black magic, unfortunately the attempt leaves Tessa and Ronin switched. Marcus shows up and Lilith too, only making things worse.
It really would have been nice for Tessa's father to be around, but he was at a demon convention of sorts. When he does return, he has much more knowledge and a much safer way to get rid of the curse. Unfortunately, it's not one curse.
This is a laugh out loud, hold your breath page-turner. There are many twists and I truly loved the ending.

Tessa and Marcus have crazy on speed dial in book 11. A curse that seems to multiply among the town folks has struck and no one knows the how or why. But it moves fast. Tessa, as one of the Merlins, is charged with finding the answer before her loved ones die.
Seems like madness and mayhem rule the day but Tessa infuse the drama with her signature sizzle and sass, particularly when she has to deal with her ongoing nemesis Allison (a true piece of evil machete mouth) and then the vicious villain who is revealed at last and it is shocking!!!
Love the charming homespun characters that are so inspiring in their devotion and support of Tessa. This is a great home team for Tessa and a real fav is Iris (what a wonderfully dark ride or die bestie Ronin Iris’s vampire sweetheart, and of course Tessa’s true love, Marcus.
A real showstopper in this series, powerhouse ending blew my doors off with the surprises (wahoooooo, YES!!!!!!) and an absolutely worthwhile read

This was probably my favorite in this series. But with the way this one played out, I’m thinking it was the last in the series. If it is, I am going to be sad because I love all of the characters, especially Tessa and Marcus (and Ruth…I just love her). I got my HEA and would be satisfied.

This was a good story, good things are happening for Tessa, the format is still the same, there was no back story going on to propel into the next book so not sure what we have in store coming up.
I do have to wonder though is Tessa ever gonna get any better at her magic? It seems that everything with her is luck and happenstance, she doesn't really know what she's doing - LOL. Would be nice if we see more growth in her character.
This was one of the better stories in the series.

Great Book
I have read the entire series and pre-ordered the next book, which comes out next month. Why did I say next month? I hate waiting on the next in series. I am super happy I only have one month to wait. This book was fabulous! And I loved, loved, loved the ending. No cliffhangers here. When you provide a good story, you do not need a hook to get the reader to continue reading your books. We look forward to it.

Awesome reading. Awesome storyline. Marcus proposed. Marcus fired Allison. The heroine is more powerful than ever. Her and Marcus have their own place. Her two best friends are amazingly loyal. I love this series and now I have Book 12 coming out on February 28 and Book 13 coming out on April 8, 2024. I'll be on the edge of my seat until they come out.

Brewing Crazy
I love this series’s. I’m on book 12 and I started them the beginning of October and it’s November 8th. I literally can’t stop reading them. A lot of magic, great character development, and it’s definitely face paced.If you’re on the fence, go for it, you won’t be sorry.

Another fun read about Tessa the trouble magnet. Brilliant writing about love & family set in a paranormal world. I’m right there alongside Tessa, I really detest ‘the owl’ & ‘barbie ape’ & I find myself very invested in the characters & their outcome.

Great read, fast paced the town is being cursed and the Davenport Witches must figure it out before the whole town is destroyed but nothing seems to be working until they decide to go old school. Great characters and storyline, loved the read

What a crazy, crazy story! But oh so good! I really enjoyed all the interactions and troubles that Tessa got herself into, once again. ;) And how it was wrapped up was wonderful. If you've enjoyed the others and made it this far, you will definitely enjoy this one too!
