This truly is an amazing work of fiction. I love the characters and the pace--two important elements for a mammoth book...for me, anyway. This is one of the best books I EVER read, with the archetypal good vs evil mixed with adventure. I have been thinking about it nonstop, especially when I am not reading it. It sticks with me.

Beyond Sight is a riveting exploration of duty, sacrifice, and the collision of supernatural forces with the grit and determination of elite warriors. The narrative seamlessly blends military action, mystery, and a touch of the paranormal, delivering a thrilling reading experience that transcends traditional genres. Beyond Sight is going to be one of the examples I point to for author's ability to draw amazing character sketches, great description, and just plain ol' good fashioned storytelling.

I think the best storytellers manage to interweave the mundane, the pettiness, the little quirks, the quotidian--the things that we can relate to--with the huge, profound, terrible, glorious, and amazing that we don't encounter so much. And Nicholas Rice does a great job here. This book really was a mind candy for me. The plot chugs along a twisted and winding road that only an epic novel could contain.

I think what I liked best is that there were so many characters some loveable and some despicable. I wanted to know what happened to each and every one of them. The end of every chapter had me wanting more. Rice painted such a clear picture of each of these characters that I felt like they were real and I KNEW them. Readers are taken on a journey that goes far beyond the boundaries of conventional warfare, creating a captivating narrative that leaves an indelible mark. Must read!

Beyond Sight mixes the clandestine world of the Navy Seals with MS13. Focusing on human trafficking, the book creates a realistic and traumatic scenario that the world understands. Things move rather fast in this book, with twists and turns that will keep you on your feet.

The book is well written. The characters are developed in a likable sense. The Pacing of the book has you ready to turn page after page.
