When i heard Laylah Roberts went back to Haven,Texas to catch up with Raid Malone,i couldn’t wait to hear what she’d heard.
And after reading the ARC,can safely say that another Malone has bitten the dust.
Another crazy Malone has found that one girl he’d do anything for.
As crazy as that sounds,i mean we’re talking about Raid here,Hannah is the one to bring out that side of him that makes me want a Malone of my own…..

Sweet, cheerful and caring Hannah has had a crush on Raid for a long time now.
But she knows he’s out of her league and doesn’t even think of her that way.
So,she decided to do her best to find happiness somewhere else….

Raid may never even have thought about Hannah in a romantic way,but once his brother points out the feelings she seems to have for him,he starts looking at her differently.
And when he returns from his cousins in New Orleans,he plans on asking her out on a date.
But she’s moved on…..and is leaving Haven.

The Hannah that returns,is not the same cheerful girl that left.
She keeps her besties, and the rest of Haven,at a cold distance.
When Raid sees her,he just knows something happened….but what?
How to get her to open up,and let him in?
He may be a Malone, but even he can see his usual will probably do more harm than good.
On the other hand,he ís a Malone, and once they see the ONE,they will do everything in their power to convince that ONE they belong to them.
He can be patient…..and carefully get her to open up to him.
First things first,he tells Jake he’s her Guardian from now on.
Making it clear he wíll take care of her,in every way she needs him to.

Building trust, showing her he’s not leaving,no matter what she says,or does, may take time.
But for her he’s got all the time in the world.
When it starts to pay of,though…..what she tells him….it makes him want to find the bastard and kill him with his bare hands!
But that’s not what she needs from him….so,he’s going to have to allow others to take care of “business”, while he builds her back up to a new, even better Hannah.
A Hannah he knows is strong,a Hannah that ís capable of love,a Hannah he will treasure for the rest of his days…..

Raid and Hannah’s story drew me in from the first page, and i loved both of them só much!
There’s a lesson in this story apart from their budding relationship, though…
One that’s important….
Never, ever allow someone you only just met online to force you to make life altering decisions.
Always involve your friends and family to help you decide who that person really is.
Because you might see that person through the glasses of what you think is love, but you really need to know who that person is…..and not who you want them to be!

Ugh🥹😍🫣
This was so fucking sweet.
I love the Malone men with all my fucking heart.
I can not wait to see Tanner get his girl. But also. I’m gonna be really upset when the series is finished.

So good.
This author just has such a stranglehold on me.

This was everything I could have hoped for and more!

Raid is a freaking dream 😍 He is so sweet yet so silly and mischievous. The relationship he has with his brothers is absolutely hysterical! I just love the Malone family so much, they seem like a great bunch to have in your corner.

Poor Hannah.. I wanted to cry for her. Especially in the beginning with how close her and Raid were to becoming more. She is so freaking strong though! I loved watching her get her spirit and confidence back. She seriously bloomed under Raid's care.

A certain douche bag deserved more hell but I'm glad things turned out the way they did in the end.

I didn't realize how much I'd missed the Malone brothers until I cracked open this book. They may be wild, they may be crazy, but they are a united front, and once you are accepted as a Malone, they won't stop until you are safe, secure, and happy....where do I sign up to join this family?!?

Hannah had survived SO much and this story was equal parts heart-wrenching and swoon-worthy. (Raid "fell" first, the 2nd time around....read the story, you'll understand) and he battled Hannah's demons and past with her every step of the way.

We got some Haven characters in this story we hadn't seen in a while, some regulars like Jake...and the ever-surly Renard too. It was a great cast of characters and a reminder just how much Haven loves and takes care of each and every one of their residents (when given the chance)

Raid and Hannah's story was a great addition to the series...I'm getting super sad that we are running out of Malone brothers needing stories. I'm not ready to say goodbye to the "crazy" Malones...I know Laylah will have them popping up in future stories, NO DOUBT!

2.5* It’s good but really frustrating and badly written in parts.

I did enjoy it, but wow it drags in places and really frustrating. It’s also really badly written about trauma and abuse.

Hannah has liked Raid for years but he doesn’t even notice her till his brother points it out to him, then he notices her and decides that he wants her. I didn’t buy into this sudden revelation after years of him not wanting her. Instead of going and asking Hannah out on date Raid goes to spend time with his cousins for a month. When he comes back Hannah has given up on him, met a man and moved away.

When Hannah comes back to town she’s completely different, dressing in black baggy clothes and has withdrawn into herself. Something bad has obviously happened to her with her now ex boyfriend, but she won’t tell anyone. As the whole town worries about her, Raid is determined to help her and moves in with her to look after her. Does he never work at the ranch? He’s just had a month off now he’s looking after Hannah, and never working. As Raid and Hannah get closer he realises that she’s it for him. Wow it only took him how many years?

This is where I struggled with the book. Hannah tells Raid what her ex did to her and I didn’t believe that she would have moved away with this man, after years of being in love with Raid. Hannah is an intelligent woman and she ignored all the red flags from him, and I’m sorry but I didn’t believe it. There is a tiny bit of danger, but it’s a massive letdown. The main niggle I have with this book is Hannah’s trauma and flashbacks. Without any counselling she’s perfectly fine? It wouldn’t happen.

There are parts of this book that I loved. Raid looking after Hannah and getting her to trust him was really sweet. The sex scenes at the club are hot. I’ve been left with a feeling that it could have been so much better.

A simply riveting read, wonderful characters and story that will hold you captivated

The Malone men are well, known in the town, they are plyers and they love women but when they find the one, they will never look at another woman again, once they give their hearts they will never look at another and will care for their woman ensuring their every need is met.

Hannah had believed that she had met the man that cared about her, she had sold her home and left her job and moved to live with Steven who unfortunately had been a con artist and, in his pretending, to be a Dominant had hurt her heart very deeply and Hannah and not felt the same since.

When she returned back to her home town, she had avoided all of her friends because she as too ashamed to tell them what a fool she had been and how badly she had been hurt by Steven and she had not felt that anyone would understand.

Raid Malone had realised too late that the girl he truly had feelings for had been Hannah and when he returned from a holiday with family, he had discovered Hannah was serious about someone, when he heard she had returned and saw the way she had changed he knew that she need help.

As they spend more time together, they discover that they are falling in love with each other and Raid has been helping Hannah to find herself again and she is now staying at the Malone Household so that they can keep her safe whilst she helps the police catch Steven who is a known rip off artist that has stolen money from several other women.

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

I have read all of the books in the Haven, Texas series and was so excited to be part of the Malone family that I have come to love. The personal growth of the characters demonstrates the author's ability to understand the complexity of personality traits, especially Hannah, and the many layers she built to protect herself from further heartache. What Hannah did not count on was the sheer determination of Raid Malone to shatter those layers one by one. This book was a slow-burn romance but once the attraction between Raid and Hannah finally took hold nothing could stop them, even past hurt. The story includes the Malone family and friends of Hannah from Haven, all of whom were determined to help her heal.

Hannah’s infatuation with Raid saw her make poor decisions. Leaving the safety of Haven made her ripe for heartache. Broken, and ashamed Hannah returned to Haven a shell of her former self after being taken advantage of. My heart ached for her. Her fear was tangible. She was a closed book, not letting anyone close to her, but she did not count on Raid Malone and his single-minded efforts to help her conquer her fears and claim her as his.

In typical Malone style, Raid bulldozed back into Hannah’s life and became her guardian despite how Hannah felt about it. He had lost too many opportunities in the past but it was time to step up, and step up he did. He was naturally bossy and knew the right things to put her at ease. It was interesting to see how Raid transformed the more time he spent with Hannah. He was still the happy-go-lucky Raid we have come to love, but he was prepared to be the Dom she needed once she convinced him she had put the ugly experience behind it and was not made of glass.

Raid stuck to Hannah like glue. He was worse than a guard dog snapping at everyone who tried to get near her. He treated her like a precious jewel. If only he had realized how Hannah felt about him months ago he could have saved her so much pain, but he was there now with his family and the town behind him.

This was an entertaining read with both likable and dirty characters. The story had a great pace, familiar situations with a dose of magic, angst, and powerful emotions.

Wow! Laylah Roberts just blew me away with what is possibly the most deeply felt and beautifully expressed one of her novels to date, Malone's Pride, which is book #13 in her addictive Haven, Texas series, and it gets.5 stars from this reader.

Hannah has dreamed of having a relationship with Raid Malone for years, but if he's anywhere near her, shy Hannah is either tongue-tied or clumsy--dropping things or tripping over her own two feet. In hopes of getting over her crush on him, she finally decides to look for another man, and she signs onto an on-line BDSM dating site and states that she's a sbmissive looking for a Dom. But whem she finally finds someone, and agrees to meet him, she's soon living with him, and after a hellish month, manages to finally get back home to Haven, but she's not the same Hannah who left.

This is where I give you fair warning--this is a novel about domestic violence and psychological manipulation and abuse. While most of it is off-screen, it is discussed and there's a long road to recovery for Hannah, and thankfully, Raid steps up to help her, and does he ever! To tell you more would ruin this novel for you, so all I will tell you is that Raid is one of the strongest, kindest, and most self-sacrificing heroes Ms. Roberts has created, and I absolutely loved the way he understood Hannah and tried to help heal and protect her.

All in all, this was an excellent, emotional read, and I'm happy to recommend it.

I received an advance reader copy of this novel from the author. The opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I'm going to start this review by saying how much I love every single thing Ms. Roberts writes. I count down the days to her releases, and devour the books in one sitting. She always makes me laugh, and sometimes I'll shed a tear or two. Her characters are fantastic - the h is always sweet, has some quirks, and is super loveable while her H is always strong, protective, and the perfect blend of stern and tender. Raid and Hannah's story was all of that and more. Now I'll get in the more. However, I need to state that this isn't a criticism and is more of a praise for her writing. This story triggered me, hard. I read some very dark reads, which this is not, and I can't remember the last time I was triggered. By chapter 7 this one has me shaking, ugly sobbing, and gasping for breath while my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest. There are no graphic depictions of trauma, and what trauma there is isn't with the H, but Hannah's reactions took me to a place I thought I'd left behind. It also helped heal something I thought was healed. The fact that Ms. Roberts created a character I had connected with strongly enough to have a physical reaction is testament to how unbelievably talented she is. There are moments of humor where I was laughing out loud and the steam is off the charts. However, this one was more about healing and taking back power. Raid was the rock Hannah needed, and I guess part of me needed that too - even if it was vicariously.

Loved it!

Malone’s Pride is the thirteenth book of the Haven, Texas series of interconnected standalones. It is so good to be back in Haven, Texas and to finally have Raid’s story! Hannah has had a crush on Raid Malone for a while but he is a Malone and she thinks he is out of her league. She ends up turning to a dating app for BDSM and gets herself into some trouble. Raid can’t believe he waited to long to ask Hannah out and now she has a boyfriend and it’s too late. When Hannah starts pulling away from her friends and hiding out in her apartment the whole town is worried, especially Raid. He knows something is wrong.

I freaking love Raid and the way he handles Hannah. He is sweet with her but stern when he needs to be. I loved that he got advice when he didn’t know what to do. But, he mostly followed his gut and was exactly what Hannah needed. Hannah is so dang strong for what she has been through. I wanted to cry for her but was happy when she learned to stand up for herself!

I was so excited when this hit my kindle and read this in less than a day! I couldn’t put it down! I can’t wait for Tanner’s story and hope he gets the girl I’m thinking he will! I love this whole series and highly recommend if you like OTT possessive alpha males!

Another book that totally deserves more than 5 stars. Hannah has had a crush on Raid for awhile now but when he doesn't return the feelings, she decides to move on with her life. That meant moving aways from Haven for a bit. In the meantime, Raid's brothers start pointing out that he's hiding from his feelings for Hannah and when he finally realizes he loves her, it's too late. She's gone. When she comes back to Haven, her whole personality is changed. Gone is the sunshiny girl everyone knew and loved and in it's place is a cold, distant and scared woman. I loved how Raid took his time to win her back. He was gentle but firm with her but there is still danger afoot! Can Raid keep her safe while making her understand he is ALL IN with her and wants a life with her? The little twist caught me by surprise as I never suspected that at all. The only thing I really wanted but didn't get was what happened with Simone. Oh, I know what is says in the book but I wanted Saxon to confront her in the story and hear why she did what she did! I loved this book so much and as of right now, Raid is my favorite Malone!

Another Malone brother to love

The Malone brothers have got to be the most infuriating, frustrating, loving, passionate, amazing men in romance landia. But damn do they make my little heart go pitter patter. So when I saw that Laylah Roberts had released another Malone brothers book, you know I ran to grab it. And it does not disappoint! This time we are given Raid Malone who just needed a little time to grow up before he could see that Hannah was perfect for him. Unfortunately, he took so long that Hannah gave up and looked for love elsewhere and ended up getting hurt in the process. Watching Raid not only realize what he almost lost, but displaying patience (not an easy thing for a Malone brother) and win back his love and heal her made me melt into a big puddle. Ms. Roberts never fails to create enjoyable books with memorable characters and passionate storylines. She remains on my auto buy list.

I LOVE THE MALONE’S 🥰

Raid Malone Handsome,Flirty,Arrogant and Clueless ☑️ Hannah Beautiful,Loving,Sweet,Happy go Lucky and Touchy Feely. She Has a Huge Crush on Raid which also makes her tongue tied and clumsy. Realizing her feelings for Raid we’re going nowhere, she meets someone online and moves away from Haven ,when she returns she is not the same person and pushes everyone away. Raid realizes he never saw what was right in front of him until it was too late now that Hannah Was back and she was so different He knows he has to be the one that can help her. The whole town rallies around Hannah, but she doesn’t see it only Raid makes her realize that hiding accomplishes nothing . We see all of our Malone family and residents of Haven in this fantastic book, I will say it again. I love the Malone’s and Haven Texas

In Malone’s Pride, we find ourselves back in the strange little town of Haven, inhabited by the slightly crazy Malone’s and the women that they love. Raid and Hannah’s story centres around a terrible experience that Hannah has and the journey she takes to overcome the damage done to her. She has Raid - she she has crushed on for years - at her side and that makes the struggle easier but does not take away the hard work that she has to do. Ms. Roberts is able to write about mental and emotional damage and scars with empathy and understanding; at the same time, she doesn’t whitewash the troubles or make the person into a hero for coping. It just is what they are working through and, I. The end, it makes the journey so much more powerful. I truly enjoyed this story and happily and voluntarily reviewed it.

This was a difficult book to read as it dealt with mental, physical and sexual abuse. Hannah has had a crush on Raid Malone that he has been oblivious too. Unfortunately, when he realizes that he has feelings for her as well she is in a relationship that she eventually moves away. When Hannah returns she is a shell of herself. Hannah's ex turned out to be a con man and she is ashamed. She tried to push everyone away but Raid is determined to force his way in. When it becomes apparent that she is not the only victim her life is put in jeopardy. Raid and the town of Haven step in to protect one of their own. Your heart breaks for breaks for Hannah and the serious subject matter was handled very respectful. I highly recommend this book and cannot wait for Tanner's book.

Their Sunshine was almost extinguished!

Another Malone brother's love story. It ended well enough, but the first half of the book had a lot of trouble. I felt Raid was a little too arrogantly obtuse to be worthy of Hannah. Obviously, EVERYONE knew how sweet Hannah felt about him for years- even his brothers- but Raid was the only one not to seem to have a clue! If he had only wised up a tad earlier Hannah would never have tried what she did or almost had her light extinguished. Her background explained why she wasn't more outgoing with her own wants and needs. Like I said, it did end very well once Raid grew up and saw the treasure he almost lost. Hopefully we'll see Rosa in the next book. The suspense was very good also.

Perfect!

Hannah and Raid were so perfect together. After a badly timed decision to finally ask her out, he thought it was too late because she had moved, and was with someone else. Suddenly she's back but a shadow of her sunny, bubbly self. Hiding in dark baggy clothes, and pushing away from everyone she knows. The whole town, from the Sheriff, to all the Mal one's know something bad happened to her, but she won't talk to anyone. Raid decides that he can't see like that anymore, and claim himself her guardian. It is a long baby step path for her to stop jumping at her own shadow, but she has a lot of support from a great, protective man, and many others. Wonderful conclusion, with a HEA ending. Trish. A.

Loved this story from srart to finish, and talk about a rollercoaster of emotions my gosh, i went from how come Reid was so blindedhe couldnt see what was in front of his eyes. Then when he got his head out of his a&&, he was a bit to late, and then he proved his worth as a Malone.
As for Hannah i felt for her i really did. She wanted some one to love just her to take care of her but the person she choose was so wrong for her, but when Reid stepped up to the plate he really was just what she needed and she fell for him all over again.
These Malones are so worth reading about i just love them.

A little town in Texas, good guys, bad guys…perfect!

I love Haven Texas, where the men are all protective, the women feel secure, and love. This is kind of romantic suspense, if that is a genre. Some awful things happen off the page, but are briefly described. If you check the first page, the tw are pretty clear. Raid is a Malone. He has six brothers, cousins in New Orleans, and unshakable confidence. She has been in love with him, but Raid is pretty clueless. Awesome story line, wonderful characters, perfect world building. This can be read without reading the other books before it in the series. I’d for sure you to read them, though.

I enjoyed visiting the Haven Texas Malone's. Its always a good time. There is always humor involved. The funniest book was still Jaret and Clem's story.

I felt so bad for Hannah and what she endured. I liked the way Raid stepped up and took care of her. I also love the way the crazy Malone's look out for each other, and the way the people in Haven support one another.

This book had a very interesting and unexpected twist. There was also a bit of underlying suspense throughout much of the book.

I found it to be an enjoyable read. It wasn't too heavy, and wasn't too light. Throw in the touch of humor and it was just right.

An amazing read that captures your heart from the first page, Hannah is captivating and Raid and Tanner are hilarious. When things go horribly wrong it is Raid who steps up and realises he has feelings for her. He may be bossy and at time overbearing but he is a wonderful protector. Hannah is scared and humiliated but little by little Raid gives her the strength to come out of her armour and begin enjoying life again. There is a near tragedy just when Hannah has turned a corner but the ending is magical.

Hannah and Raid are great together

I devoured this book. First off I loved Hannah. She felt different from a lot of heroines from the series in that she had experience with being a sub and playing at the club. I liked how she wasn't shy about her sexuality (when she wasn't dealing with all of that baggage from the ex). Raid was your typical Malone in the best way. What made him stand out was though bossy he didn't identify as a Dom and Hannah brought that out of him. I really enjoyed their story and now I am eager for Tanner Malone to get his woman.

CW: Light BDSM, SA, Domestic violence, Domestic Discipline, depression, and financial scams

This the 13th book set in Haven, Texas and the second to last book of the Texas Malones. The FMC character was sweet and worked hard to overcome a traumatic experience. The MMC was full of rough charm and humor.

My only negative is there were two other women in town who went through similar experiences and the therapist who helped them now lives in town, but the FMC never reached out or sought therapy and that was unrealistic.

To rushed for me.

This is my first bad ish report of layla.. and i do love her books, but she keept on repeting the very.... And i mean very short timeline ALL of this happened... The falling in love on a short time line is ok actually! But the Sexual assault is not. Its actually not ok in my opinion. But the book deserves some credit cus it was decent 🙃 i want to give it a 2... But since its Layla i will give her some extra for love! She is great! But this was not it. It was RUSHED.... .... ...... . ........................ literally RUSHED.

I love Raid - his self assurance, his absolute belief in the Malone name, his pride in the strength of family - just makes him stand out. Hannah's complete switch from a bright and bubbly social friend to a hidden waif is hurtful. What she went through (and those who have experienced it IRL have my heartfelt emotion). However, I am giving this a 3.5, not because I didn't enjoy the story, but because it felt rushed, Hannah kept repeating herself, and the fact that even though Molly was mentioned, she was not consulted on the trauma Hannah experienced.

I just love the Texas Malone boys. They are crazy. Hannah is a sweet girl with a kind heart who comes back to Haven as a changed person.. Raid Malone is bound, and determined to find out what happened to his sweet Hannah. I love this book all the crazy Malone brothers making an appearance. All her friends and sheriff. Are worried about her. This book has a lot of danger it’ll make you cry it’ll make you laugh and make your heart melt at the HEA at the end.

Love the Malones!!

Just when I think Laylah Roberts can't get any better, along comes Malone's Pride.
Not only do I get an amazing story about Hannah and Raid, but I get to catch up with the other Malone's and their quickly growing family as well as the other great characters from Haven. I especially enjoyed Renard's kindness toward Hannah. He is such a softy under all that bluff. And Tanner...I can hardly wait for his book.
That is my favorite part of Laylah's books!! Each one is like a reunion and each characters worms their way into my heart!!

Raid and Hannah

I love that Hannah gets her own story and it's such a complex one at that with Raid going from player to proposing, while helping her to recover after being conned and abused. I love the topic of this story in particular because unfortunately it's so real and relatable with so many subs in the lifestyle who get tricked by fake doms or dommes.
Ps: there are still spelling mistakes sometimes so please make sure to reread the material more before publishing.
Thank you so much for this awesome stories
