Natalie Boonstra was diagnosed with Madelung’s Deformity at just ten years old. The corrective surgery for this painful, one-in-two-million congenital wrist disorder was successful but left the very visible daughter of a well-known public figure with emotional scars, insecurity, and self-doubt. Both arms are noticeably short in proportion to the rest of my body, and this physical difference caused a great deal of insecurity and self-doubt. But then I realized who Jesus says I am.

Natalie does a great job at making analysis for issues Christians deal with. This book took me a long time to get through not because it was poorly written but because 1) Self help books are not my thing 2) This book is mainly written for a younger audience — probably a teen/high school girl. However, there are things in this book I was able to relate to more than a teen might.
