I received a free copy of the steamy novella, Before Brady: An Instalove Summer Wedding Romance (Love & Other Calamities Romantic Comedy Book 3) by Cindy Procter-King, and this review was given freely.
Instant attraction, good friends, supportive family, and overcoming fear are just a few things I enjoyed in this slow-burn romance with a steamy finish.
Persistent and patient police officer Brady Jacobs picks away at the overworked and grieving cupcake shop owner Alicia Maxwell’s vow to never fall in love with a police officer until she realizes a chance of love is worth the chance of loss.

This is the third addition to the Love & Other Calamities Romantic Comedy collection and was another fun read. Alicia had made a promise to herself never to fall in love with a police officer, but then Brady comes around with his sweet, charming, helpful self, she finds it downright impossible to resist him. Especially when Brady is so persistent but patient with her.
Another quick and short read that is sweet with the right amount of steam. Great addition to the collection!

patience and persistance
Alicia lacks the courage to give love another try so it takes a patient but persistent character like Brody to convince her otherwise. I fell in love with Brody´s mischieveous but supportive character right from the start and I was happy for Alicia when she could finally claim the gem destined for her.

Alicia knew what she wanted, her cupcake shop, her dog and her friends but when Brady, a cop, starts hanging around she has some second thoughts. Brady is thoughtful, helpful, kind, sincere and so much more how can she resist him, why did he have to be a cop the one profession she stays clear of.
This story was so cute, I loved how persistent Brandy was.
