Creating Man

Rate this book
Creating Man begins were the creation myth leaves ff- with the eighth day, when God, through the intervention of the archangel Michael, invents emotion. As each new feeling is brought forth, the novel dissolves into a depiction of that emotion, manifested through the relationship of two gay men. WE experience hate through the guise of an abusive relationship; guilt with a gay father and a son; fear through an athlete publicly outed; pride through the actions of the perfect golden boy. Yet while each relationship is devastated by emotion, each story concludes with the resolution of that emotion. leading to a final episode that is as dramatically intense as it is intellectually stimulating.
