Jokes about lawyers abound, and for good reason. There's so much material out there that defies belief. Sometimes, the truth is stranger than fiction. Or, rather, the truth is often so strange, it's indistinguishable from fiction.
Learned Fiends is a funny and though-provoking journey into the legal system in Singapore, and might occasionally cause the reader to wonder how much of it is fiction and how much might really have happened to the author.
A light read at a shade over a hundred pages, this is something worth digging into for anybody itching to join in the fun being made of lawyers and the legal profession in general.
