Dominant.

Mercenary.

Navy SEAL

I had one job on the Teams. Predict the unpredictable. See what no one else saw. Analyze, assess, anticipate. Then execute with deadly force.

Calculating the enemy’s moves, including the ones they hadn’t thought of yet was my specialty. I did it for the Navy and now I was private sector, utilizing my skills at Alpha Elite Security . I had a hundred percent mission success rate…until her.

Make no mistake, I saw the blonde coming. I predicted her every move. But this time, I wasn’t going to stop it. I was going to do something much worse.

Code Delta.
Dominate.

For starters, Delta is not like the others. Not even a little bit. He’s guarded and cruel at times, but underneath it all is a man who has one thing on his mind and one thing only. He makes mistakes, alas he’s human, and he sets them right to the best of his ability.
One single moment shaped this man’s life. A promise. A duty. Following orders. Delta lives by a code and that code is what makes him who he is.
I loved exploring his head. Learning what made him tick. How he thought. What he knew versus what he did. I’m not gonna lie, there were times I wanted to jump in the book and slap him. Many many times. At times he didn’t make sense. At times I didn’t understand what he was doing and that was frustrating. But in the end, all the little pieces made sense. Why he did what he did. Who he was. His choices. And he was lovable all the more for it.
The FMC was the same. I wanted to shake her so many times and be like brooooo listen to the man. But alas, she did what she knew how to do for the problems she was facing. Trust was not something she gave freely, even if it was rightly earned. Her secret, her plan, was more important than even her own well-being and that is what made her the strong person Delta kept telling her she was. Even though at times I thought she was being weak, my girl was never weak. Not once. What seemed like one thing was entirely another. So I urge you, when you get frustrated, keep going. It all makes sense in the end. Mrs. Bartel weaves a story like no other, and the way everything comes together is just chefs kiss.
The cameos in this one made my heart so happy, if you’re a sucker for those cameos like me, well buckle up because there’s some good ones in there.
My man Whiskey and my man Echo still own my heart, but we’re sliding over to make some room for Delta now. And I cannot wait to jump into Kilo and all the reckless fun that guy is gonna bring.

amazing as always….but

As always great, but I feel like this series of Sybil’s has the same heroine over and over. They are are all exceptionally down on their luck victimized women and all make the same mistake. Being a victim doesn’t mean you are clueless. They all only need to ask the most qualified, volunteering, benevolent kill squad for help. Just clue them in to the whole story instead of half, and a world of pain and injury could be avoided. Shorter book, but let the heroine get kidnapped or something, not always knowingly walking in to danger because they know better than a band of seals, or are trying to protect a lethal Dynamo. I guess in the last series with Luna and associates, you had more varied women characters. Although there were a few similarities. Talon’s woman could substitute in this story and many others. I guess I feel like more development goes in to the men. Though they are all eerily similar too. Aloof, emotionally unavailable, etc. I guess they’d never go for the girl next door or the woman working hard to keep her job and make ends meet but hasn’t been abused to the point of not being able to communicate. But I shouldn’t complain because I keep coming back for more. But I think my favorite series surrounds Luna and assoc. they just seemed a little more varied. But overall, really, aside from my soap box, another win!

ngl I really want to read about a h with some fire in her (like Maila in book #1) and I really did not get why she was so persistent in not tell Delta what was happening to her,

BUT, the book it reads fast and overall I enjoyed it, basically I'm waiting for Ghost's one 🖤
my cell was ringing with a blocked number.
Knowing who it would be, I answered. "Ghost."

I'm living for these scraps 🥹

Oh my LORD Sybil you’ve done it again!
Delta is all you’ll ever need and want, talk about duty and sacrifice, a man who keeps his promises and protects. We all love a strong alpha male but this one, this one is something special the way he looks after and honours his women oh lord… got me feeling all kinds of feelings, this was one of my absolute favourite reads by Sybil, once again. Amazing!

- Main Couple: Delta (aka Demetrius) / Hanna (aka Violet)
- POVs Included: Dual POVs (Delta, Hanna)
- Book Playlist (The Alpha Elite Book Series Playlist)

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Delta made a promise to his SEAL Teammate, Quentin (aka Canada) that he would take care of his daughter if something ever happened to him. And so after Quentin was killed on a mission, he meets Hanna at his funeral. She is seven at the time (he is twenty-six), but he promises to watch out for her, especially when it's clear that her stepmom and stepbrother are potentially abusive and neglectful.

The years passed by, and he tried to keep in touch and watch out for her over the years. But when she turned eighteen he set her up with a bank account and lost touch.

Now, sixteen years since he made that first promise, he finds himself faced with needing to protect her again. And this time he wants to keep her for good.

REVIEW:

So this is where I'm officially parting ways with this series. I have loved (and devoured) over thirty of Sybil Bartel's books. But this series just isn't working for me for several reasons (most of which I've already talked about in previous reviews for this series).

But let's talk about this book and why I will be abandoning this series.

Delta and Hanna are much the same as the other couples in this series with some slight. variations.

Despite the fact that I KNOW this author can write great MMC's, this series is just not reflecting that. Nearly all of the MMC's sound the same (overly dominant to the point of unreasonable).

With Delta specifically he also has a bit of a creep factor added in. I love age gap stories, but I always find it extremely awkward when the older of the two (in this case Delta) has known their love interest since they were a kid. Delta was twenty-six when he met Hanna at seven. Ugh. And to top it off, the way he refers to her "having always been his" and that he has been obsessed with her for years is EXTREMELY cringy. At no point does he ever deny having inappropriate thoughts towards her from the beginning. And with the way he talks, I kind of think he did. So yeah, that's super cringy.

Now let's talk about Hanna. Like all the other FMC's in this series, Hanna is "submissive" and therefore portrayed as weak, timid, jumpy, and self loathing.

Hanna also made a bunch of stupid choices (no surprise there, but still super annoying). One of the stupidest, in my opinion, was not telling Delta or any of the men helping her about Ash. Even if his motives are a little creepy, he isn't abusive and she clearly has feelings for him. So why withhold that information? This whole situation could've been handled SO much easier if she didn't feel the need to keep that to herself for unknown reasons.

Other things that annoyed me about her are how she can never answer a single question. She is constantly dodging questions, talking around them, etc. It's SO annoying. She also repeats annoying phrases like "I'm fine" (when she's clearly not) and "I'm sorry" (over 50 times -- she apologizes for everything).

She's SO self loathing. I mean, most of the FMC's in this series are, but she seems even worse for some reason.

She's also overly sensitive to the point that it's ridiculous. As an example, she freaks out because Delta has...carried other women before. It's not that he has had sex with them. No, it's that he's CARRIED other women in his past. She absolutely balled her eyes out because of this revelation. OMG how could he! lol

Now, as for the story, this one is pretty similar to the others in the series. The dumb chick is in trouble and withholds important information while the overly-dominant guy forces her into a submissive lifestyle and "helps" save her from another abusive guy.

In this case, I found their dynamic difficult because it was so hot and cold. Nearly 30% of the book is just them getting mad at each other for one thing or another. Including calling each other names that they don't want to be called. (sir, Violet, little one). It's a never ending cycle. They are hot and cold to each other constantly over the stupidest things.

There is also the plot hole regarding Ash. He was born only a few months after Quentin (Hanna's father) died. Which means that he had to have known his wife was pregnant. It's pretty unlikely he didn't know about it. So why didn't Quentin ask Delta to also look after his unborn son? Why only his daughter?

Overall I just found the entire story boring, cringy, dull, too slow, and repetitive when you compare it to the other books in the series.

Bartel has always wrote about alpha heroes. But this series is like a bunch of Neil clones. None of them have an individual personality. They just grunt that they are dominant and their female is submissive. Which apparently means that they can't ever do anything for themselves -- like cook or pick out their own clothes. The D/s mentality is just done to such an extreme in this series that it's really annoying, and (like everything else in this series) repetitive.

I'm just bored of this series. I have loved this author and read basically all of her books. Which is why I've been hanging on and trying to keep going. But I really can't do it anymore. I dread picking them up every time I have one I need to read, and it's a real bummer because I have loved so many of her other books (Candle's series is among my favorite books of all time).

But it's time to move on. I just can't do this to myself anymore. If you want some good books by this author, I don't recommend starting here. Try her Alpha Bodyguard series, or Alpha Antihero (Candle's series), or even her Alpha Escort series. Those are all really good. These...are not.

Delta is a masterpiece! This is definitely Bartel's best writing yet and probably in my top 5 reads of the year! With off the charts intensity, be prepared to read uninterrupted until you have binged the whole thing. And please do yourself a favor and go in blind and savor every word. You will not regret it. Note: there are definite triggers in this one, it is dark and delicious! 5 Stars!

Phenomenal.
Just flat out phenomenal.
I cannot state strongly enough how deeply this one impacted me emotionally: heart wrenching, heartwarming, intensely impactive.
Ms. Bartel is an incredibly superb writer. She never rushes her stories but gives her reader beautifully as well as carefully constructed characters woven into a wonderfully layered plot that builds up hint by hint until the reveal.
I read this in one sitting straight as I HAD to know what was going to happen next, I HAD to know. I did not skip a single word or sentence & I was completely engaged & enthralled from the first word to the last.
In DELTA, Ms. Bartel has given the reader SO MUCH in which to experience, to absorb, to revel. A MMC whose dominant, calm, logical, methodical & coldly professional persona shields so much more that lies within him. A MFC who engenders deep empathy, respect & an unwavering support for her. And a truly loathsome villain.
All of these characters & more starring in a superbly crafted plot that mesmerizes as it carefully, subtly builds with increasing intensity (much like a written Ravel's Bolero) until the exquisitely fierce & shattering climax.
Intense, mesmerizing, shattering, heartbreaking, heartwarming, beautiful, SUPERB.
Do you want characters you CARE about? Love? Loathe? Are INVESTED in?
A plot that keeps you on deliciously intense tenterhooks? That engages & enthralls you?
Absolutely superb writing that grabs you by the heart & whirls you away into another world?
Read this one.
Seriously, do yourself a favor & READ THIS ONE.
It's phenomenal.
Absolutely phenomenal.

5/5 Stars!

I am so obsessed with Delta!

There are not enough adequate words to describe how much I loved this book. I have read every book by Sybil Bartel, but Delta was next-level!!

This book made me feel so many emotions. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me fall so incredibly hard for Delta. He’s made appearances in other AES books and has always come across as this highly intelligent and formidable warrior, but there is so much depth to him that he reserves only for his woman. He was so caring and thoughtful towards the FMC, but OMG was he dominant with a capital D!! The things this man said to his woman made my jaw DROP and had me blushing all night. It was the hottest, most intense age-gap romance I have ever read!

The emotions that Sybil pours into her books are so poignant yet haunting at times. The FMC in this story has suffered and my heart ached for her. I loved how Sybil crafted her voice to convey her vulnerability and previous trauma in way that still revealed her quiet strength and resolve. Her character development was written so well, and the way that Delta helped heal her made me love him even more <3

Everything about this book was phenomenal! The writing, the pacing, the cast of supporting characters (whom I love and adore with my whole heart)—all of these things made Delta one of my favorite books I have ever read by this author. The suspense was written so smartly, and the plot twists kept me up all night reading. I have the biggest book hangover now, and I don’t think I will ever recover.

5/5 Stars

Another gripping story

Oh, soo good!!

As with every single story before this one, I buckled in for the roller coaster ride that is AES. I got everything I could have hoped for, and more.

Delta is dangerously controlled, lethal and dominant. Not a man to underestimate or dismiss. I enjoyed learning more about his position and qualifications within AES. I better understand his reticent position on things, and the complexity of his relationships with his team, and why he's so good at what he does.

Violet/Hanna has an absolutely tragic backstory of violence and abuse, that frankly, was difficult to detach from - which is why this read took me a bit longer. Her strength of self (even if she didn't believe it) is compelling. Delta's care of her one minute and coldness to her the next was infuriating, all while their chemistry swirled around them. Ugh...

It was fantastic to have the other characters I already know and love pop in to this story, cause - Ariel! Love that girl!! (Not to mention all the other guys we love!)

The last quarter of this read had my nerves firing, and my heart pounding with anticipation, knowing AES and Delta are closing in on the solution to the situation. I adore the HEA.

This author consistently delivers engaging and addictive reads that I cannot get enough of, and I strongly recommend reading this series in order to have the best reading experience. Ideally you would already be familiar with Andre Luna and all the Uncompromising series before this series. Worth your time to do so. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with these characters and recommend this author and her numerous creative works.

Dominant, Intense, emotional, hot

“She’d formed me. And I’d destroyed her.”

Delta is the eighth in the Alpha Elite Series. As the series suggest, Delta is the ultimate Alpha hero. He is dominant, merciless, and resolute. The magnetism between Delta and the woman he has always loved is an emotional journey of incredible highs, desolate lows, self punishment, and the ultimate sacrifice.

Reading this was an incredible experience that left me broken and wanting more. There is so much personal turmoil that I was completely devastated; and, then completely rebuilt when I turned the next page. If ever there were two people who deserved to be loved and cherished, it is Delta and his woman.

Delta can be read as a stand alone. Although previous characters make appearances, the author gives enough backstory to provide continuity. I received an advance reader copy and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is not the first time I’ve read one of Sybil Bartel’s works. I love the way she creates strong alpha heroes and the women who love them. Her books are an emotional journey…get ready for it!

Whew. Let me collect myself here before we move forward.

Alright, here we go.

I was blown away. Delta was nothing like I expected and was so much more than I could have anticipated. We saw snippets of him- his hard, dark, standoffish demeanor- in other books, but nothing could have prepared me for who he actually is. Everything we already know about him from what we've seen in previous books, everything we learn about in his story build perfectly into this deeply nuanced, soulful man who is equal parts endearing and terrifying. Getting inside Delta's head is amazing because you see what a deeply caring and compassionate man he is, but that doesn't make him any less intimidating.

The story was mysterious and delightfully edge -of-your-seat angst up until the very end. I didn't get frustrated with the FMC though she was very obviously concealing something important. The buildup and reveal of said secret made sense and wasn't just a cheap plot device. Every move, every conversation, and nugget of information we learned made sense to rounding out the plot.

Did I stay up entirely too late devouring this book in one sitting? Yes. Do I regret that decision? No. Not a bit, and I'm a mother of a toddler so believe me, I'm suffering but the book was worth it.

I'm a shameless sucker for age-gap with a focus on MMC caring for FMC and if you're anything like me, I think you should add this to your TBR.

Completely wrecked and put together all over again!

Delta is the 8th installment in The Alpha Elite Series and can be read as a standalone.

If you're familiar with Sybil's world and specially this series, you gathered how methodical, competent and tenacious Delta is. He's one step ahead of everybody and everything. He catalogues, predicts and strategizes, he just didn't predict Her. Because he never dared to go there, by honor, morality and will. What he didn't know was that the world would turn on its axis and put him in a place he never thought he would be.

This is a story of dire circumstances, a complex and dense net of significance, careful approach and plans of action with no prediction regarding its results.
The symbolism of the Seal and the man, honor and promise, the morality and want, protection and the free will to deny it, the guilt and remorse of not having done enough or what it needed to be done. Respect above all. The loss, grief and impotence of being too young, the oportunism, madness and peril of having too much power and support of no consequence.

Expectant and rather tied up, the narrative flows fast and furious, steady and direct to the pace of events, revelations or not, a harassing atmosphere of internal conflict, the obligatioh to act, because it might not there be a next time. And the fact that it is imperative to deal with care, considering in protection might lie a secret.

Delta and Her were not so different from each other, both having experienced similar childhoods, there was a recognition of the other and resilience by nature.

Totally unexpected, with a touch of taboo and the nostalgia of joint forces with Luna & Associates, Neil Christensen, Ariel and, of course, Talon Talerco, this is also a tale of brotherhood in arms, comraderie and Semper Fi, to the cause and fellow and fallen brothers.

A great and well deserved HEA for our protagonists after so much struggle, an ardous battle where the prize is the utmost victory and a conquest by loyalty and love!

I don't know how she does it! Every.damn.time! I always say this one blew me away, or I wasn't expecting this one to be the best, or this is my new favourite, and while I could NEVER chose just one to be my favourite... Delta is going to hold a spot in my book boyfriend loving soul forever. He is deliciously dominant, in all the ways you want him to be and so tenderly sweet in all the ways he should be! He is commanding, strong, intelligent, and cryptic. The heroine is fragile and inexperienced, but fierceful and protective, which creates such a clash of emotion on the pages. I can't help but repeat my previous statements on reviews I've done for Sybil when i say she has a marvelous gift. I've never read any other author like her... someone who bleeds her emotions on the pages so beautifully that we can't help but live in that moment with these characters, feeling every feeling like it was happening to us. I've read many books, but none capture me the way Sybils do. I know that when I pick up one of her books, I'm investing my heart into it. I will experience heartache, fear, exhilaration, passion, probably some new bedroom language I will most certainly have to Google definitions and instruction on, love beyond measure, and a fulfillment to my soul. Her books are more than a comfort. They are a home.

Please go read this book and all the previous books. You will never regret investing your heart into her work.

This is the first book I have read in this series, so I do not know the backstory of all the secondary characters, but it did not impact the story.

I am struggling with the rating for this book so I am going to go with a 3.5 to 4. The writing was great; the suspense had me staying up until the early morning hours to finish because I NEEDED to know what was going on. However, I am not a big fan of the total power exchange or taking advantage of trauma. I feel like the girl needed some serious therapy. The age difference gave me “ick” when he kept talking about when she was a little girl.

Delta is dangerously controlled, lethal, and very dominant. His brain works so differently, noticing such subtle things, which makes him an excellent SEAL. Violet/Hanna/little one has a tragic backstory of violence and abuse, that frankly, was difficult to read. She is so uneducated, naive, and child like that it didn’t come off as sexy to me- but it sure as hell pushed every one of Delta’s buttons. The suspense and writing style is what made me keep going when I wanted to DNF. I am going to look into other books in this series because the team intrigues me. I like the alpha trope very much, it’s TPE that I don’t care for.

Sybil Bartel delivers another hit with Demetrius Ridge Demos, aka Delta—a dominant Navy SEAL whose role is to analyze, assess, and anticipate outcomes for the teams. This story took me on an emotional roller coaster—it made me laugh, cry, and fall completely for Delta. Having appeared in other AES books as a highly intelligent and formidable warrior, here we see the depth he saves for his woman. His care and thoughtfulness toward Violet Hannah Traylor, the daughter of his fellow SEAL and brother-in-arms Quentin Traylor, is touching. Delta first met Hannah when she was just five, her violet eyes leaving a lasting impression that resurfaced at her father’s funeral, where he honored Quentin’s request to look after her if anything ever happened to him. I like that the AES team looks after their own whether they are Seals or Marines. Delta and the other Alpha Elites that I have read played a supporting role in this more than usual. Sybil, your son would be proud of you and the gift God has blessed you with—telling a gripping story of love, life, and occasional heartbreak. In the end, the Alpha steps in to save the heroine, this time Violet Traylor. There’s even a surprise at the end that you’ll love, at least I thought so after reading the prologue.

Bartel is back with another addition to her Alpha Elite Series, and what an addition Delta is, honestly this book is one of the best, hottest yet poignant age-gap reads I’ve read this year, it stirred up various emotions from myself whilst reading. I cried, even laughed and blushed a hell of a lot throughout as I succumbed to the dominance Delta exuded.

The Storyline, without giving too much away, deals with some rather sensitive issues, cloaked in mystery and angst, that will keep you enthralled from start to finish. There are cameos from a good few of our other Alphas, ensuring the usual camaraderie we’ve grown to know and love between the group. Hanna the lead female character had suffered both mental and physical trauma over the years, she was vulnerable yet strong in many ways, which Bartel portrayed extremely well throughout the storyline, and the ways that strong, dominant Delta helped heal her…. PHEW 😮‍💨 I swooned, you know the way these men are for the woman they love 🥵

Now the wait is on to see what’s in-store next for us readers from the men of Alpha Elite.

A complicated hero, a heroine with a not-so-apparent backbone of steel and a strategy of dominance

I love Ms. Bartel's writing style. Reading her books has my heart just a little bit clenched, beating just a little bit faster. You are able to get into the most profound emotional pieces of a character's mind and your breath is lost when reading the horror our characters have faced. And make no mistake, unlike many other romance books, the emotional arc for our MMC is one of the best I have read. Delta is the intellectual, able to strategise and foresee every move of an enemy (or friend), but Hanna surprises him, more than he expects. The backstory means this book has a great storyline of growth and strength.

An age-gap romance with an OTT alpha male, but not formulaic in the least. I love the secondary characters and the cameo from Talon was a treat. The book can be read as a standalone, however, you may enjoy the book more when the series is read in order.

I knew it. Just knew it in my heart that Delta was going to be different from all the rest. I said it months ago. But never did I realize how much love, devotion, compassion and feeling he would have in his heart and soul. He is a rough tough dominant AES team member to his core, always getting the job done and doing the right thing. But, when we find out who the person in his life is that can break his rigid beliefs and barriers, this story all makes sense. Eventually her story starts to unfold in a way that makes all her decisions make sense as well. I had my suspicions about her focus leading up to the conclusion, and I gotta tell you it turned out so much better than I envisioned. Although I did have faith in our Queen Sybil to make things all well with our AES world.
Big hugs to our Luna and Associates family **Hunkalicious and surfer extraordinaire Talon, Neil & his “Ariella”, Andre, Shade, and the always helpful, and there in a pinch Tyler.

Wow! There are so so many things I want to carry on about Delta. I could ge here for hours. First off Sybil Bartel creates the most uber Alpha males I've ever encountered. Demetrus Ridge Demos AKA Delta is perhaps the epitome of uber (and here I thought Whiskey was.) The man is stoic, decisive, lethal, measured and as d9minant as they come. Walking away from a teammate's child fifteen years ago was the right decision and one he regretted ever since. He thinks he's protecting her from afar Violet Hanna Traylor's happy life ended at seven when her SEAL father died. Since then she's lived a nightmare. She's been used, abused and demeaned in every way possible. But she has a plan although getting picked up by AES and see8ng Delta face to face after so many years wasn't part of it. The dynamics between these two are explosive to say the least. He is hellbent on righting the wrongs done to her and she is equally bent on following her plan. Read this book! You'll not be sorry!

We've had glimpses of the methodical and dominant Delta in previous books, and that's made me desperate to get his own story. It certainly didn't disappoint. He was everything promised in those previous glimpses. All dominant alpha male billionaire who knows exactly what he likes and wants. Delta is constantly analyzing and computing everything going on and seems to be steps ahead of others. His heroine was in desperate need of everything that Delta had to offer and in this one we really delve deep into these characters, what makes them who they are and I love how much we get to see of them together.

Delta is the best of everything we have come to expect from this author- I was sucked in from the very beginning and stayed up all hours to finish this seductive, angsty romance that I just couldn't put down!

Well what can I say? I always struggle writing reviews for books by Sybil Bartel as I really wonder how to give justice to such superbly crafted tales. This is a beautiful story skilfully woven together. Delta is a complex character and in fact one that I initially felt I would struggle to like, however, in the hands of the talented Ms Bartel my opinion was completely changed. Delta is controlling and demanding, however under that persona, he is caring and affectionate, working hard to ensure he supports Hanna while she escapes her personal demons, and in doing so Delta manages to slay some of his own.
This whole series really has it all, twisty plots fantastic characters and emotion that pours off every page. I cannot rate this book highly enough, and all I can say is that I am now just going to reread the rest of the series then will be seriously author stalking until the next instalment.

WOW this one has all the feels with intense emotions and one of the most heart wrenching plots to date. A nurtured start to life soon took a turn for the worse that escalated into a life of entrapment and heartbreaking abuse. Years worth of lifelines intercepted, meaning they never reached their target. Finally the stars aligned placing the victim in the path of her saviour. Boom ….. the point at which Delta lays claim to his lady and it’s one hell of a dominant claim. So utterly dominant one minute then so heartwarmingly caring and affectionate the next. Never plain sailing with AES alphas, usual twists and turns plenty of involvement from the other team members including Luna and Associates, always a pleasure. Another one bites the dust with his HEA

Queen has done it again! Another Masterpiece!

Sybil is the Queen of Military stories! She is
absolutely amazing at her craft; she captures you're attention through angst, drama and suspense, then takes you for a ride of your life!
Just like the other 7 books in the series it is action packed, drama galore, have explosive chemistry and the feelings the characters are going through, you feel them as your own. I highly recommend this series, heck all of Sybil Bartel's books are phenomenal.

Delta is OTT, dominant, logical and deep down he cares more then he should for MFC! This poor woman endures so much suffering...

This is a roller coaster you don't want to pass on!

Another phenomenal book from Sybil. No one writes dominant alphas like her! Delta was just wow!! I loved him. He was just everything! Violet was a sweetheart, I’m so happy she found Delta they were just meant to be.

I loved the appearances from Victor, one of my favourites! November was great as well! This book had action, plenty of steam and humour. It kept me so entertained I couldn’t put the book down.

The ending was perfect, couldn’t ask for more, now I can’t wait for Kilo’s story. Once again the acknowledgments broke me, I have so much respect for Sybil’s bravery, thanks for sharing your story and the memory of Oliver.

Sybil never disappoints with her storylines and Delta certainly didn’t as he has dominated my recent waking hours. I have had a love/hate relationship with this last installment of her AES series. I have loved reading and escaping into Sybil’s worded world but also hated to turn the page as that takes me a step closer to the end.

Delta and his age gap heroine was an emotional story touching on sensitive topics but beautifully told with just the right amount of spice. I was so invested in the unfolding story that I didn’t see the plot twist coming.

As always an amazing escape into the AES world with some favourite cameos along the way. One click now - you won’t regret it.

Be ready to get lost in this book.

Sybil Bartel has outdone herself again. I feel like I say this every time she’s writes a new book, but this Alpha is extra…everything. He’s dominant, he’s dangerous and he’s done waiting.
While giving us Delta’s story and how he wins his woman’s love this story gives us a taste of what, or should I say who, is still to come. We get insights into our favourite Alphas and I really enjoyed the team up between Alpha Elite Security and Luna and associates and if course everyone’s favourite medic pops in for a house call.
If you like dominant alpha males, age gap romance, military romance and happy endings then Delta is a must read.

I am a big fan of Sybil Bartel and the Series, but I had a real problem with Delta, especially since I was looking forward to his storyline. I felt he and Hanna had very little chemistry and him knowing her as a child felt a bit creepy and their interactions predictable. There was finally some action but not until I was about 90% done with the book. Please give the women in the Series a little bit of spunk, especially since the series started out so strong. I have the next book lined up already and I have higher hopes for Kilo. Even though they are each a standalone Book I would recommend that you read them in order since character from previous books make appearances.

Delta…Delta…Delta. Where to begin with this Alpha man. I have to say, this story completely took me by surprise. I was not ready for all the emotions this story elicited from me. I love all the Alpha men that Sybil Bartel writes about. She has a way of connecting you to the men that I have never experienced with any other writer. But Delta, she managed to take him to another level. He is strong, dominant and surprisingly very human. There isn’t much I can say without giving away the good stuff with the book. And there is sooo much good stuff. Just be ready, it’s one hell of a ride!!

An intense, emotional continuation of an awesome series

I love this suspense-filled series. This book is filled mostly with introspection and reflection on the past, but is totally worth the read if you’ve read the others in the series. Each story is different, but with common elements; namely, alpha males. This particular book does contain significant physical abuse, so be aware. Much of it happened in the past. I still recommend this series to those who enjoy military related suspense stories.

DELTA, do yourself a favour and read this book!

He kissed like the earth was burning and the sky was storming. He kissed how he stared at me. He devoured me, body and soul.

Sybil you have a wonderful talent!! From the first page to the last and all the words in between this story has the slow burn that keeps you turning the page to find out what will happen next right up to the last explosive page.
