I got to read an ARC of this book and let me tell you, I am in love with it. The spice is nicely done and don't even get me started on how I know have a clone kink?! So I guess thanks for that B.J. I will def be reading anything B.J. puts out, not to mention can we just say he is daddy?! great debut novel!!!!

I absolutely loved this book
I’m so happy that i received this book.
I love the relationship/marriage between Colby and Lexi, they’re so perfect for each other. I love how they communicate and how they stick together no matter what🫶🏼
So the story starts of after Colby and Lexi moved into a house which needed quite the renovation.
During their renovation they find a hidden door and decide to open it up, but behind this hidden door awaits them a complete new life. Everything will change with the opening of this hidden door. A new world opens up for them, a world where witches, warlocks, werewolves and other mystical creatures live. There they find a special book which was in the possession of Colby’s family long bevor he even knew.
Turns out that the house they moved in was also in his family possession for decades before him.
Together they reveal many new secrets and Colby finds out about his true self, because he is not a normal person, he is a warlock.
Now that he is a warlock he has to be cautious and learn to protect him and his wife Lexi, because there are many hunters who will hunt them…
He quickly learns how to control his powers and does some very difficult magic spells…
Ever since his powers awoke, his marriage with Lexi got even more interesting 🤭🤭🤭
They had a lot of new adventures for sure and they’ll for sure have even more new adventures to conquer together.
I really hope that there will be a second book because I need to read what’s happing next 🤩

This was incredible! I’m usually… (shameful to admit) skeptical of male author in the romance world… but gooooosssshhhh dang did BJ absolutely annihilate this!! It’s fun and spicy.. even though it’s in third person I connected with the characters. The spice was spicing lol. The couple goes on an adventure to discovered powers that came about.. and following their journey has been a ride for sure. I can’t wait to see what other wonder works BJ comes out with.

But being a warlock, brings about new challenges.
But it also brings about new adventures - including his wife and a third.
The ending of the fantasy was somewhat rushed due to how much s€x was involved but overall I enjoyed the storyline; I just wish it had more fantasy to balance out the s€x.

This was a wonderful, sweet, passionate, intriguing debut novel. The love was touching and the spice was eye-opening and so refreshing. I loved the openness and desire for everyone's wants and fantasies. It felt like everyone had a voice. I loved the plot and I want more.This was such a pleasant read. The characters were gentle but also fun and full of life. Their challenges brought them closer, and the communication was so on point!
I was initially nervous that I wouldn't enjoy the third person narrative, but I got so into the story that I didn't notice. I definitely have some logistical questions, but that's just how my brain works. Honestly, the questions I had made me more interested in the story and left me eager for more.
This new indie author did a really good job, and I hope he continues because I am so here for it!

This book was soo good! I have never read a book like this before and I am so glad I read this one. This was my first established couple book ever and I was a little nervous because I wasn’t sure it was going to have all the stuff I’m used to. But in some ways, it was better. The writing was sweet and detailed. It definitely painted a picture in my mind of what was going on.
In this book the MMC and the FMC stress the importance of communication and honesty their relationship. And also making sure to trust one another and respect of each other’s feelings. I loved that they always checked in with one another’s especially once they opened their marriage. And I’m absolutely in awe of their love.
This book was super sweet and also very steamy. And the ending was wild…. It had me on the edge of my seat, anxiously reading for what happened next! I was definitely not disappointed with this book.

Colby was a normal guy until he bought a house with Lexi and they found a hidden room full of magic and wonders, with many secret to uncover.
Lexi and Colby have a beautiful relationship built on love, understanding, trust, communication and amazing sex. Isn’t that what all women want along with the clone of their husband? I’m not even married and never plan on it, but I’m convinced I need a clone of my man too. Also I’m gonna need a magic wand like Colby has if I can’t have a clone of a man 😏😈

This book, for me, wasn't a masterpiece. There were way too many pop culture references, and that got on my nerves. But even with the annoyances, this book made me smile! I laughed at Colbys antics with the tome. Lexie being the supportive amazing wife! I could imagine myself as Lexie being excited about my husband being a Warlock! I mean, it's so cool!
Colby is so normal, and he just gets thrust into the craziness of the council and the hunters. I feel so bad for him, but I can't help but laugh. One of my biggest smiles, though, has to be Lexie and Colbys relationship. They are adorable, and I love them! I can't help but love them. They are so sweet. Maybe a little overly sweet, but it's cute.

I was drawn in on the first few pages and hated everytime I had to set this down to handle real life.
Colby and Lexie are adorable, steamy, and remain steadfast as they learn more about Colbys new talents and abilities.
This book had everything I could've asked for. Adventure, mystery, danger, it was sexy and funny!!!
This is a must read!!! You won't regret picking up this book.

Wow this book surprised me in the best way. This is now the second PNR book I have read and it didn’t disappoint! I loved the chemistry, love, and communication between Colby and Lexie. Their dynamic of openness is what couples could only hope for. The smut was top notch and super hot! No spoilers but the cloning spell used to their fantasies….game changer and 🥵
I cannot wait for Witch to release so I can dive into it like I devoured Warlock.
B.J. Wolff’s debut novel was a banger and a total home run! I am pacing waiting to see what else he is going to write!

Before reading, I was initially a little nervous since it was 3rd person, but it didn’t affect my reading experience.
This sweet, spicy, quirky paranormal fantasy romance was a quick read for me! The characters’ banter was by far my favorite throughout the book.
The spice was in a good 3/4 of the book which I am totally here for! I have a new interest in cloning, IYKYK. 🥵 I loved, the openness in Colby and Lexie’s relationship, super fun to read them experimenting and made for great spice! And I love how everyone in the magic community worked together (for the most part except for the bitch witch 😂)

This fantasy romance was a great book to start my year! BJ Wolff’s debut novel has magic, mystery and enough spice to satisfy a healthy appetite. It was such a delight to read and I couldn’t put it down after the first page.

One of my favorite aspects is how Colby wasn't immediately accepting of his family's grimoire and Cyrus. He didn't try and do spell after spell day one.

If I could choose more than 5 stars, I would. This book has now given me unrealistic expectations for my future husband 🤣🤣. It was very well written and I loved the detail that was given. I read it in about 2.5 hours so it’s definitely a quick read. Highly recommend reading!

This is just a good time read. From the discovery and journey of learning to control new found powers. To the answering of an age old question “ what would I do if their was two of me”. It is a very entertaining paranormal novel, you have witch’s, warlock, werewolves, and vampires. Make sure you check out the tigger warnings before commencing though.
I give this book 3.5/5 stars

This is very different from everything I’ve ever read before. I haven’t really read a ton of PRN and I don’t normally read 3rd person. But this story pulled me in and kept me until the book was finished. Colby and Lexie’s story was interesting, fun, steamy and so cool to see them grown not only as a couple but to see Colby come into his warlock powers.
I loved their openness to the supernatural world. Colby loved becoming warlock and Lexie accepted every aspect of this new world. I loved getting to see a variety of supernatural creatures including witches, werewolves and of course a ghost.
I don’t want do give away too much but I absolutely loved how Colby and Lexie explored their sexual relationship as a married couple and found what they were interested in together. It felt very relatable.
I loved that the story and secrets unfolded throughout the book and the friendships and found family Colby and Lexie find within the Super natural community.
Colby and Lexie experience ups and downs, challenges and tribulations but through it they rely on each other. There’s action, magic, smut, and a great found family.

The story is so good and unique. I haven’t came across something similar. Except for like the world building that reminds me of Fantastic Beast in the sense of magic existing in the real world. But having to stay hidden because of the humans with no magic. I definitely recommend it, the spice definitely broke the scale, I was constantly blushing while reading. I was left with wanting to know more about Strange Grove, Lexie and Colby, specially about Colby’s life as a Warlock. The story will catch you immediately, with some many funny reference, that will make the book more interesting. The marriage between Lexie and Colby is so open and beautiful. Lexie was so down to earth and always so supported of her husband new endeavors. It was truly a very fun quick read that will leave u wanting more. I truly hope we can have more of Strange Grove and see how life progresses in a world where the supernatural exist. And to reference Lexie “this is like straight fantasy from Twilight and sh1t” 😂😜

This book was phenomenal!! I really hope there’s more to this whole world… I’m gonna need to know what happens next! Colby and Lexie make a discovery that they never saw coming to end up in a world of witches, warlocks, werewolves and the likes as Lexie says straight out of a “fantasy novel”. The anticipation of waiting to see what happens next and being on the edge of your seat just waiting for the BOOM to hit is nail biting(LOL) in a good way!!!

This enchanting/quirky paranormal romance will have you laughing and blushing. I was able to fly through it in a day.
The characters had life and were hilarious. Lexie was always down to get wrrrrecked son.
With this being the authors debut novel he killed it! The story had a plot, lots of smutty smut, and even some suspense. For me, personally, I would’ve loved to have read more suspense to even out the smut but that’s just my preference.

This story was super modern and fast-paced with more to come. The spice... oh the spice. I wasnt expecting that but dang was I pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to read the next one. Highly recommend. Spice level: 4/5
