How this book even got to 4 starts here on goodreads is beyond me. Cannot and WILL NOT finish this. No proper plot, no proper. . . honestly I'm beyond words. I've read some bad books, but this one - wow.

This is Book One in a Four Book Series. It ends on a cliffhanger. Bound to the Alpha Trio is Book Two and concludes their story with a happily ever after. (HEA)
My Review.
Wow this book was brilliant, so brilliant that I’ve just spent money I can’t afford on the rest of the series. I really enjoyed the spiciness of the relationships between avery and the boys, how each one gave her something that she never knew she needed. Out of the boys I would say Nik is my favourite, he’s got that bad boy feel. Story wise, I’d say it was written really well there was a few typos but that’s something that can happen in any book. I really like the storyline and I’m so excited to read the rest. It really grips you from the start, and you pretty much know that you’re not going to be able to put it down. **I actually fell asleep reading my kindle luckily I had a full battery.**
Based on the storyline alone it gets a 10/10 rating but if you add in the typos it would be a 9.5/10. But really it’s a 5🌟 rating for me from start to finish. Now onto the next book in the series.
The only way I can write this review is if I move it to read and give it a star rating. In truth, I DNF'd at 30%. I gave it another 2 chapters after I originally thought about DNFing.
My problem with the book is how it is formatted within the story itself. There is so much crammed in it feels like a kid is telling me a story and keeps forgetting something that could be important to their story. Kind of like when you are watching a show/movie you have seen before and you hit fast-forward; you can see bits and pieces and you know it's a good story, but there are pieces that make a difference being skipped over. There are also little world-building tidbits that I feel will make a difference in the story but they are laid on the table and walked away from. No information is actually given and no expansion is provided.
I did try, the story is VERY promising, it just needs a good edit with some "fluff" input to make it more palatable.
Tropes: Fated Mates, Rejected Mates, Pregnancy, POV: 1st person switching Spice: 3/5 (I think, lots of lead-in) Triggers: A LOT -DubCon -Abuse -Patricide -There is a warning at the beginning of the book, like I said I didn't make it far
I loved this read! The plot was strong, and had just enough action to keep you wanting for more. The love between Avery and the trio was pretty incredible too. The spicy scenes were a huge turn on, and the cliffhanger!!! Sooo good. The last lovemaking scene was my absolute favorite. Big bad wolf chasing, little Avery! But nothing little about Averys strength. She's a badass woman just wanted to protect her babies and love her men.
I loved so many quotes, I can't list them all, but here's a couple...
“How are we the abominations? We just want to live and let live."
Leave Roman in the corner. He will just faint, or puke on my v@gin@. Got it?”
I laughed out loud during this read. That doesn't happen often to me, but I loved these characters and the authors imagination. Gots to go now, off to read book 2!!!
I was honoured to get this as a ARC, and what a book. So at the beginning we meet Avery, the kindest sweetest soul out there. I don't want to give anything away, so I'm gonna be a little vague, because you must read it. After a fun night with a alpha, it's not a fun morning after. Avery gets rejected, finds out she's pregnant, has to run away BUT she meets 3 amazing guys, Gabriel, Roman and Nikolai who look after her, but it doesn't end there! She's in danger, because she's pregnant with a alphas baby. This story will have you sweating, cursing at your kindle, biting your nails but also cheering Avery on. I wanted to protect her myself. I felt I was in the middle of the action whike I was reading this, it pulls you in. You may shed a tear for how Avery was treated at the start of the book. This gem did not disappoint, and leaves me wanted more
I want to start by saying I am not a spicy romance girly, so this book wasn’t made for me. We follow a FMC that goes through hardships and trauma. She eventually meets three Aplhas that want to give her everything.
This book was very, VERY fast paced, which always makes me struggle to read. I felt as if I couldn’t connect to any characters, which lead to me not caring if something happened to them.
The overall plot of the story was good. The characters had strong personalities. The spicy scenes were well written and you could see the connection between the characters.
Overall, the story wasn’t for me, but I feel that it would be very easy for someone to enjoy the book if it is their usual type of read.
My feelings are all over with this one. I really like Avery, and was very interested in her connection with the Alpha Trio. For me there's so much of the darkness from the POV of the bad guy, Braden, that I just couldn't get past that. His parts are overly dark, and really just feels unnecessarily detailed and has nothing to do with Avery and the alphas, these amazing protectors, other than he had rejected her so now that she's pregnant he's on an absolute rampage to find her. I'm very disappointed as I was looking forward to a really good PNR series. I had to DNF this at 24%.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Only in the second chapter and I'm already angry at one of the main characters. I can only hope that he redeems himself as the book goes on.
Reading further through the book, the changes of point of view do give you a great insight but it has started to get slightly confusing.
The plot has seemed to have gotten lost with the spice, but even the spice has gotten slightly repetitive. Out of all the males, Nikolai is my favourite. When the plot is picked up again, or the POV changes, then slightly back peddles can be confusing.
Throwing another character and a little sub plot to an already confusing story, doesn't help solve the confusion.
Talk about steamy! This book gets sexy immediately and it continues throughout. There is heartbreak and abuse, but the overarching theme is about love, sacrifice and saving the world. I really enjoyed the fact that this book also entered into the real of Good vs. Evil and the fate of the world. I appreciate the fast and easy read. I was able to ignore the things I scoffed at (18 year old virgin who is sexually uninhibited after abuse, childbirth/nursing descriptions) and still love the story overall. I can't wait to see what happens in Book2!
Starting the book was a bit rough as I am easily distracted 😅
But once I was in I was sucked in! I can’t say anything was predictable besides Bredan. With his wild possessive behavior. Avery was much stronger than I thought she would be, I have read so many books where the female MC was portrayed as weak. It was so nice she held her own and found herself.
*There is pregnancy mentioned in the book, however it was not a big part of the book! It has spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️, twists turns and introduced me to a supernatural I never heard of. I cannot wait to read the other book!
This werewolf romance started off with a bang and the action continued throughout the book. This is such a great start to a series that I cannot wait to finish. There is action, suspense, fated mates and magic. Avery is a great FMC. The way she rallies back from devastation in the Chapter to being a the strong woman at the end made this a great read. Of course, adding in three hot alphas who only want to make her happy is a bonus.
I enjoyed this author’s writing style. She has built an amazing world, and I am looking forward to seeing more of these characters.
This book is fast-paced with a lovable heroine and lots of spice. Each time I felt my interest waning, there would be another plot twist that drew me right back in. I almost wish the pace was slightly slower so that there could be more character and relationship development. Nonetheless, I’m invested and will definitely be reading the sequel.
A minor thing, but I wish each of the trio was described more physically. It was sort of hard for me to picture each of them and then keep them straight in my mind.
Great start to the 4 book series. I am already in love with the characters. The love, the loss, the conflict, and oh the cuddle time. I don't know where the story will go, but I am hoping for a HEA.
Quite the surprise comes in this one towards the end, so hold on to your seats! Some great laughs to be had with some of the banter, jokes in stress situations are the best.
Wolves, Lyran, Witches, and the last Seraphina.... A cast of characters that will make you keep reading and wanting more!
I recently reviewed a book where my main issue was the plot was too dang slow to get much of anywhere. The universe heard my pleas and put this book in my path 🥵 this was so fast, so full of intrigue and interwoven secrets! Beautiful written why choose, shifter, hidden destiny romance for those looking to fast forward through the foreplay and get to the thick meat of it (all puns intended)
I received a free copy of this book via the BOOKLounge for Readers and Authors Facebook group, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I absolutely ADORED this book! I fell in love with Avery from the first page and my heart broke for her at every messed up stage. Stephanie has an amazing skill of drawing you in with every single page, an each twist and turn was so unexpected. And then we get to the spice. Oh. My. Gosh!! I made the mistake of reading this at work. I would not advise anyone to do this, as there were quite a few scenes where it was quite difficult to keep a straight face 🥵
At 380 pages long, this took me 4 hours to read. At the time of writing this review, I am already on book 4 of the series! I highly recommend to any romantasy lover.
This is a steamy paranormal romance that has ALL the pieces you want to see-magic, werewolves, angels, fated mates, and so so much more! One thing I really look for in a fantasy book is being able to be drawn into the world that is created and this author does it for me. It’s a timeless world yet modern enough I can see it through the eyes of the characters she has created. The pace is quick but it kept my attention from page and left me panting for more! Can’t wait to read book 2!
This book sucks you in from the start & holds your attention the whole way with all the twists and turns. It then stops on a cliff hanger, making you wish you had the second book. I spent the first chapter telling the main character Avery don't do that. I had strong feelings towards the characters loving most of them and really hating the antagonist. I liked the story line and can't wait to see how the second book goes.
This book captivated me from the first chapter. This book does have a cliffhanger, so be warned lol. The author throws in good vs evil, light vs dark, but she makes you feel for both sides. Some of this book is very detailed, while other parts are kinda vague. I want to read the next book to see what happens next.
Talk about fast burn and super steamy. The darkness and the spice and had me pulled in from the first page. The book does end on a cliffhanger so do be prepared. I really do feel like Stephanie did a good job balancing the darkness with the light of the story and really pulls you into each side and makes this book a shorter and faster read when you need a good book to cleanse your pallet
I love how the book is fast paced following Avery... she is the fmc who takes herself as just a regular person with no wolf. She is rejected from her mate and then her life seems to really begin. There's pregnancy, loss, finding one's self and she meets her mates! 3 mmc's who are her mates! A seriously bad guy and a war to come to save it all.
Bonded to the Alpha Trio is a great paranormal romance! We get action, suspense, lots of spice, fated mates, and magic! Avery is a strong woman who grows throughout. I love her interactions with the Trio. They are all their own unique selfs. Gives her everything she needs in a relationship. I can't wait to read the next book!
Shifters, Alphas, steam, why choose yumminess! This was a great start to a sexy, drama filled pnr and I'm eager to read book 2! I felt Avery was written well for being young and we see a lot of character growth. The guys are all distinct in personalities and Ms. Swann did a great job giving each character multiple facets. Great imagery and the spice was SPOICEY!
Fast paced and super spicy! Avery has 3 mates and their personalities are all different so there is something for everyone. Amazing world building. So many characters and so much depth to the world. Her descriptions make it easy to see the story in your mind. Pay attention though because the plot does not slow down.
This one was a struggle to get through. It was a little disjointed and hard to get into at points because the story was jumping so far into the future at points that it didn't flow for me.
The plot had some really great things going for it, it just had to be given a chance to unfold naturally.
Avery and the Alpha Trio meet under dire circumstances for her. Avery comes with a lot more baggage than even she knows of. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There is definitely more to the story that I'm anxious to get to.
I really liked the character dynamics. I liked that this is a short and fast paced read. Suspense, action, and a good amount of spice keeps you turning page after page! This is my first book from Swann and I can't wait to read more! She has a clear talent for writing.
As a double demi person, most books with spice are not my style. For me, This book plays a balance between relationship building and spice without becoming hypersexualized. I enjoyed the depth of character and getting to know the different personalities!
This is an absolutely brilliantly written why chose fated mate romance. I loved the fast and steamy romance between Avery and her Alphas. Avery is a resilient and strong FMC. Gabriel, Nikolai, Roman…the Alpa Trio are strong, protective and smoking hot 🔥.
Pacing is a bit odd and doesn't flow as well in the beginning as it could. I agree with other comments that it needs a bit my 'fluff'. However, the plot is fun and I can't wait to find out what happens in book 2 🙂
