Review to come!I have been waiting to get my hands on Gabriele and Aria’s story and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. This book was steamy, filled with longing, and suspenseful. It definitely checked off all of my boxes.
When we first meet up with Aria, we discover that she’s wildly attracted to Gabriele. Unfortunately, Gabriele turns her every chance he gets. So, when Aria finally gets up the courage to let her crush go, things don’t go as she planned. Aria makes a reckless decision that suddenly puts her on Gabriele’s radar.
Coveting the Mafia King’s Sister hit the ground running and never looked back. I was immediately pulled into this story and was unable to put it down. Aria was completely unexpected. On the surface, she appears to be sweet and innocent, but underneath it all is a delicious dark side that’s just waiting to come out. She is the forbidden fruit that Gabriele is unable to resist. On the outside, Gabriele is stubborn, yet deadly. And when it comes to Aria, no matter how hard he tries to fight it, he’s powerless to ignore the need to claim her as his.
Together, these two are a scorching inferno. When I say they burned up the pages together, I am not kidding. The pull between Gabriele and Aria was absolutely incredible. The need to protect. Possess. Claim. Ugh! I couldn’t get enough of the delicious tension their story delivered.
Gabriele and Aria’s story wasn’t without its fair share of ups and downs. I loved the unexpected moments and twists and turns this story provided. There were plenty of moments that kept me on my toes. If I had one complaint to make, it would be that there was a situation that never got fully resolved. Something happens, but it never gets mentioned again, almost like that moment was an afterthought. I know. I’m being super vague, but it’s definitely one of those, you’re just gonna have to read it, situations.
Overall, I thought this book was a fantastic read. I thoroughly enjoyed getting lost in this story and can not wait to get my hands on the next book in this series. If you haven’t had the chance to check out P. Rayne yet, now is the perfect time to dive into this exciting mafia series.
