3.5 stars. Rylee, the male omega lead, is an Alphabetas super fan. He’s skipping college to be at their concert and he moderates their fan board. When he’s given the opportunity to join the band, for any length of time, he gladly skips his exam. Saffo, Habit, Kawaii, and Perfume, the female beta leads, are all willing to claim him. Stone, one male alpha lead and the band’s chief of security is willing to facilitate protecting him. But Apex, the second male alpha lead, wasn’t present when Rylee was “kidnapped” onto the band bus and he doesn’t want to acknowledge Rylee as his scent matched mate because he’s claimed Perfume as his forever love…

Can the band find a new balance? Can they protect Rylee from threats outside the band? Can a scent match be ignored or repurposed?

This story continues on from Side A (which really does need to be read first), is septuple POV, well written, and an absolutely madcap, omegaverse, hijinks-filled, erotic adventure. It’s a poly romance, with different types of love and multiple sets of longterm partners and I don’t think I’ve read anything quite like it before. It’s actually really not my speed but I admire the skill of the authors in holding all seven perspectives and giving a coherent, entertaining tale, which touched on many sensitive topics in an accessible way. I enjoyed the resolution for the story, and the comeuppance delivered to the antagonist. I enjoyed the many and varied intimate scenes and the genuine joy the characters took in them. I enjoyed the fun that was continuing as the story closed. Whilst not my speed, I suggest that those who enjoy MANY moving parts and characters with real depth, and/or rockstar romance, will enjoy this story (both parts) greatly.

Packchella. A tour. Playing in a band with the woman he's always loved. Apex has his every dream at his fingertips, but it could all be taken away just as quickly if his Alpha status comes out or if his scent match ruins things. And now he's being blackmailed. He has to find a way to handle everything because the band feels like the Pack he never thought he would have and losing Perfume is not an option. But first, he has to stay alive.

This was a tough read for me. I don't do well with drug abuse. It's not quite a trigger but it's not enjoyable. Drug use is rampant in this book. I'm not sure they were ever sober. And near death wasn't enough to make changes, so it's not for me. The drug culture was represented realistically, so kudos to the author. Also, I prefer RH to poly. This is definitely a poly. I want a possessive, attentive Pack concentrating on one female. This is not that! So, out of the Sex, Drugs, and Rock-n-Roll, I struggled with the sex and drugs. However, I loved the characters. My heart went out to Apex. I just didn't think he was getting a fair shake. He almost dies and still, Perfume focuses on the Omega. He was a flawed man who made some mistakes but loved deeply and acted more for the benefit of others than himself. Tortured artist to the max. Perfume was my least favorite character and I feel certain it wasn't meant to be that way. She was more Paragon than she realized, self-centered and selfish. Perfume and Apex were so well-written. They were so complex, I couldn't help but appreciate them even when I didn't love them. Kawaii was chaos and vulnerability, and I adored her. Habit and Saffo weren't as prominent but added much-needed depth. The drama added by the Omega and management added more turbulence. It was a wild ride.

Buckle up for a wild ride

While Side A introduced you to the band and some of their history Side B got into all the deeper parts. First off with this random not so punk Omega who came out of nowhere who was immediately welcomed in by the ladies. However, Apex is left with a lot of things he now has to deal with. Can he figure out a way to keep his sanity, the woman he loves, the band he desperately needed and maybe even the tempting marshmallow scent that drives him wild?

There are a lot of things happening here with Side B. As Apex continues on his quest to become a full band member he will be forced to deal with new realizations that could lead to his end if he isn't open.

I absolutely love the growth everyone has. And seriously the ending of this one was so full of changes and realization of the fact they have the best people in their life and are a pack in their own way.

This was a hard and wild ride and I am so glad I was able to devour both parts because it was so well written and the characters were easy to love and hate as needed.

So climb on board the bus because the tour is just getting started.

In a twist surprise Apex finds his omega Rylee at the last show before Packchella. The girls decide to keep him, and Rylee is ‘kidnapped’ to the tour bus. Due to all the blockers Apex is taking, Rylee has no idea they are scent matched. And when they make it to Packchella a riot breaks out causing everyone to flee. As secrets are revealed the band must find a way to work things out as they embark on their tour.

Still along for the ride I could not put this book down. I thought adding a seventh POV would be a lot but I loved Rylee. He’s so sweet and it was nice to get a somewhat normal perspective lol. Also fuck Grant and Beg. This was such a great ending to the duology. And loved that the ending showed there were lots of ways for packs to form. Can't wait to see what Port Haven offers next.

I loved Side A & Side B so much! The plot was so unexpected and not your regular A/B/O story which drew me in from the start! My heart went out to them for the loss they experienced and how each character dealt with the grief.
They were all so relatable and I almost felt like I was apart of the band (pack) as I was reading along.
Quirky Kawaii, shy Habit, Sassy Saffo & bad a** Perfume will always have a part of me. Throw in brooding Apex, grumpy Stone & the sweetest male omega Rylee and you have the perfect group(band) of characters.
I don’t want to give spoilers but the plot/character building is so epic! One of my favorite reads of the year and I won’t be forgetting this duet or characters any time soon🩷 S*x, dr*gs & alphaholes, don’t forget to check TW and fall in love like I did!

What a rollercoaster ride. I love Rylee so much and just want to cuddle him. He's living his dream and it's great to see him blossom. Apex is my favorite tortured artist and sexy beast. This picks right up where side a left off. I love seeing all of the relationships grow between all of the pack. There is plenty of gripping emotions that put you through the wringer, but I loved every second of it and couldn't put the book down. I don't want to do any spoilers, but my heart is so happy at the end of this ride, and I'm hoping for a short story follow-up later. This is a sexy, fun, emotional, & amazing duet. Would 100 percent recommend.

Side B takes the Alphabetas to whole new heights. I loved this book which is part 2 of a duet.

Book 1 had a lot of necessary time on world building but in this book all the characters became more vivid and multifaceted. The story is totally wild with so much going on and it’s very very rock and roll. There’s so much in there that you don’t see coming and it was all brilliant.

I loved all the characters but especially Rylee and Kawaii. The ending was awesome and so appropriate.

If it feels I’m not giving much information it’s cause I really don’t want to give any spoilers and there is just so much.

If you love Omegaverse with a twist then this book is for you.

This is an absolute must read! Perfume and the AlphaBeta's Part A & Part B popped my proverbial cherry 😆 I'm already obsessed with Omegaverse, love love love anything RH or Poly, and now I have to add Rockstar romance to the list!
Perfume isn't your ordinary Beta..she's the daughter of a Paragon and the Alpha of the AlphaBeta's. Raised to be a Paragon omega just like her Mother, she knows everything there is about being an omega, laying on the charismatic charm, and giving the audience exactly what the need, Her. After a traumatic event that left the band shattered, a blast from the past comes knocking on fates door in a pink mini skirt. Perfume, Kawaii, Habit, and Saffo struggle with the loss of Zenith but as they say...the show must go on.
Fume starts to fall again for her childhood love, and in comes the new adorable Fan they "keep forever", Rylee and the whole band is absolutely in love with him! How could you not fall for him?! Sex, party favors, and music is the life but unfortunately that comes with some drama and Alphahole managers. Oh, and don't forget the spice!! Can't have a punk band without the spice, and man is it spicy! I devoured this duet and loved every minute of it!

Having pt 2 of this duet be available immediately after that cliffhanger in pt 1 was a kindness we as the readers deserved lol.

I don’t even know how to summarize the adorable hot mess that was this book lol. Side B was a chaotic, crazy, mess but I loved every single minute of it. It was fun, sad, a touch dark but in a light hearted way?, hot and just an all around good time.

If you like messy rockstar omegaverses then this one is for you.

The second and last Part of the Port Haven Duet is wonderfully unhinged.
The characters get more depth and we find out a lot about the past of most of them.
The things they must face are big and soulcrushing. But they don’t disappoint us, it is still unhinged, funny and so wild.
There are still triggers, so be warned.
I love the dynamics between all the characters. It was so funny to read.

Totally recommend, if you want an unhinged funny but not entirely fluffy read.

I love love love this duet. It was a true rockstar story with the creative chaos always taking the reign. The characters were fun and eclectic and incredibly nuanced. They truly embody free spirits and not just on a carnal level.

The world building was simple and the locations weren't that many which allowed the characters to shine and focus on their personal relationships. I very much loved the journey of them all but Rylee is without a doubt my favorite character.

This book continues the hectic rockstar lifestyle of the band while they try to attend a major event & go on tour. During all the chaos Apex struggles with the nature of his designation cause he wants to earn things the hard way. He’s still hopelessly in love with Perfume even after meeting his match. At the end they’re all like a giant found family with a HEA.

Intense,twisted, a bit raw and scorching hot!
After a cliffhanger that left me in a chokehold,the story follows with so many twists and turns, new elements and so many things happening that kept me on the edge all the book.
A good world building, a multilayered plot and captivating and often complex characters all weaved to create an amazing story!

Oh my how this part we have the new cliffhanger, not telling will ruin it for you. So much happens in Side B, I can’t say much because I do not want to ruin it for you. Just know a LOT happens rejection, possessiveness, blackmail, revenge, dreams coming true, and finally a HEA. Totally enjoyed this book and if you love Omegaverses with dominant Betas totally go for this book

This starts right where part A left us. There are so many emotions happening. I enjoyed them all. Loved the ending. I was happy when both parts came out at the same time so we didn't have to wait!

What a fantastic part 2 of this duet! Perfume and the pack will have a spot in my memory for a long time to come. I love OV and this take on that universe blew me away. The highs and lows of the story draw you in and the spice is epic! Highly recommend this duet.

Side B - This picks up right where Side A left off after that cliffhanger! While I enjoyed this book, and definitely recommend it since it's a super fun read, if you prefer your packs to be possessive and exclusive, this may not be up your alley. This part of the story is the true test, will Perfume accept Apex with the revelations that have come out. The new super fan is throwing everyone for a loop!
