REDEMPTION was riveting. The thrilling plot was filled with suspense, intrigue, action, an escaped criminal, a manhunt on two fronts, mistrust in the FBI and/or the US Marshalls agencies due to a possible insider, awkward nightmares, family problems, getting a roommate, going to Mexico, another trip, letting loose, asking lots of questions, having bad vibes about someone, confronting a professional, thankful for the chief, an admittance of love, closing in on the culprit, arranging a trap for the bigger fish, a harrowing speed chase, redeeming a son's sins, oh no!, a barking Rottweiler, a badly-needed comeuppance, and an uncomfortable talk.
Emory and Dirk, the protagonists, tried their best to achieve their HEA. Moreover, I liked the author's writing style: well-written characters, fascinating settings, vivid descriptions, and a spellbound storyline which had my emotions on a roller-coaster ride. Overall, I liked the mesmerizing narrative.
I received a copy for free and am voluntarily giving my honest review.
