She was a liar. A deceiver. A seductress. And now Helene King is a Daughter of the Order.

Under the guise she was headed for the place where Halestrom Hale held our sister she is forced into a truck.

Only that wasn’t where she was headed.

A new breed of evil rose. One that told us exactly what Hell waited for her.

With the cold, hard bite of steel at my head, my last hope lays in the only man who can help us now.

A loner.

A Commander.

The one we call The Hunter.

He is a ghost. A shadow. A trained, predatory killer with a team of ruthless men at his back.

Violence is all he knows.

I only hope his allegiance of blood is strong enough.

When he saves Helene and the other Daughters, he keeps her for himself.

He heals her. Protects her…

Even from us.

As my brothers and I race to find her, a new alliance forced upon us.

One we never imagined in a million years.

Tobias, Caleb and Nick Banks demand to join forces, alongside the merciless London St James and the killers he calls Sons.

Together we hunt.

We destroy.

And try to survive long enough to uncover the truth.

A gripping and steamy continuation that raises the stakes even higher. The tension between the characters is palpable, with dangerous secrets and intense power dynamics at play.
Suspense, twists, passion, and emotional depth make this an intriguing read.

Somewhere between 4 and 5 ⭐️’s.

I’m completely exhausted, exhilarated, and in awe of Atlas’s incredible ability to keep the characters and their stories consistent! The pace is frenetic, the depravity of the villains is disgusting, and the danger is extreme. Helene is so strong even though she’s been traumatized and damaged in her fight to keep her loved ones safe and to destroy the Order.

I hate that it ended unresolved, but I’m also thrilled to be able to revisit these characters again. There’s so much trauma and tragedy in every chapter that it’s difficult to fathom the energy it takes for them to keep fighting. Helene’s love for Riven and his brothers is a strength for her, but her family struggles with them because of their atrocities against the Daughters. There are many problems and mysteries to solve that the next book will probably be just as action packed. I can’t wait!.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The way my jaw hit the floor when she, dead ass, RIPPED HIS DONG OFF WITH HER BARE ASS FUCKING TEETH AND PROCEEDED TO, BUTT NAKED, SMASH HIS HEAD IN WITH A BOOK.

I am obsessed - this is wild - it’s so dark but what the literal heck I can’t stop reading

"That's so good, my little fighter. Christ, that's what you are... a fighter. Go on, fighter... take every inch of me."

How far will Helene go to save her family?

Atlas, you're amazing! Every single book i have read written by you just blows me away. When i thought you couldn't possibly add any more twists and turns in this series, you proved me wrong. The way you delivered details of Colt and his inner "beast" to what that "beast" is capable of doing was beyond insane.
I'm so happy that the characters from the previous books continue to make an appearance.
Not going to lie i wanted to throw my Kindle in the last 30ish% of the book 🤣 I can't wait to read Consumed. But i'm also sad that this series is coming to an end. Caputred is a dark romance book #8 of 9 in the series. It contains triggers that need to be taken seriously. Your mental health matters 🖤

Great book, but some scenes could really trigger some individuals that have been abused. But the strength the women characters have is out of this world. Love this series but like I said can trigger some individuals emotionally.

The most action packed book, I’ve ever read. This entire book is a huge climax and I loved the character development. I still don’t think I’ll ever truly like riven or his brothers but I can appreciate the growth he made.

Captured

I wish I could curse in the amazon reviews because holy hockey balls that was crazy. Everything is coming together and I am here for it. Helene is a truly bad a@@ chick man. She did something so wild in this book that I was memorized. Vivienne and Ryth and their men appear in this book and are working together to figure out what the heck is going on. The order is insane and god I cannot wait for the final book. I have been following this series since the beginning and it is 10000% worth it. The spice spices and the men, oh god the men, talk about yummy. I cannot wait for the final book. I need it like today. I’m so glad this is my first book of 2024. Read this series because you will not regret it. That is a promise!

First let me just say that 5 stars doesn’t even begin to describe how truly amazing this book is! Once again AK Rose has surpassed any expectations I had. The plot twist in here had my mind blown 🤯 I didn’t see that coming at all. My heart broke for Helene and her sisters especially Vivienne. But can I just say Colt unleashing the beast was everything!! Also these men 🥵🫠 I loved Hunter. The instant connection Helene and he had was so good. The way these guys are all protective over their women is top freaking tier🤌🏼 Each book gets better than the last. And I’m beyond excited to see what happens in Consumed. This series is definitely a must read!! 10 out of 10 recommend.

Try as I might I just can’t get into the series. I’ve kept reading and can absolutely see why people enjoy it but I found it weirdly paced with action happening so quickly at times that I need to re-read whole sections to figure out what’s happening.
I love me some spice, but honestly this just felt like spice for the sake of it. The timing just didn’t make sense most of the timing.
The sheer volume of characters just added to the confusion for me.
I’ll finish the series to give myself closure, but honestly it’s not a joy.
So not a winner for me but I can see why others might enjoy it more.

Captured is book 8 in the Blood Ties series and there's no stopping the pace of it. Kicking off right where the last book ended with Helene (FMC) now in the hands of Hunter. He brought a different dynamic to this story big time. More dark and twisted people come out of the woodwork in this book to cause the maximum amount of trouble to all of them.

I loved that other characters in this series popped up in this one. It added to the tension for me. I can't tell you how much I'm dying to get my hands on the final book now. This series is a brilliantly dark read and I'm loving reading it.

Ahh I love love love this entire series. And the drama in this one is so amazing. I’m still in shock about who she is catching feelings for just because I literally hated these people but they’re not so bad. I cannot wait to read the next one it’ll be the finishing of the series and I cannot wait to see what happens.

Each book in this series gets better and better with more twists and turns and more betrayal. I didn't see half of this coming such a good mind-blowing book. Riven, Kane, Thomas, and Hunter are everything Helene needs in her life, her fierce protectors. Gosh, I can't wait for the conclusion on this series.

I just fucking can’t even. I am learning things about myself that I never knew. things I never liked. I think I need a therapist. Possibly one like Kane?? Miss Atlas how do you come up with this heavenly dream of a story??? Delicious, beautiful, everything dark and twisted. The story keeps twisting and when you think it’s over, it’s not even close. When you think it’s finally a happy ending, guess again. You’ll never figure it out, and that’s the best part

This book went in guns blazing. The adrenaline pumping right from the start to the very end.

Helene and the Daughters find themselves safe with Hunter and his men. All Helene can think about is the men she left behind.

Hunter can see the pain and trauma that Helene has endured and is prepared to battle her demons for her. When she tells him that his brothers aren't responsible, it doesn't deter him any less.

Hunter comes face to face with his brother, Riven, Kane and Thomas, for the first time in years, the air is thick with animosity, however they don't have time to deal with there own mistakes as Helene comes face to face with her sisters Ryth and Vivienne and there lovers Tobias, Nicholas and Caleb, London, Carvin and Colt.

But nothing would shock them the most at Helene's admission that she loves them - Riven, Kane, and Thomas. Vivienne and Ryth hurt by her betrayal, yet when she shares with them what she endured by their hands, do they understand, because Helene will do absolutely anything to protect those she loves, all in the name of blood.

A plan is formulated. With the Daughters, Ryth and Helene in play, along with Bank's brothers, London and the Sons, do they make their move. Only to be betrayed by Hunter's second-in-command Kyrell.

And if they thought they were going to get out of this unscathed, they were wrong on so many levels.

Helene, Ryth, and Vivienne are in the fight of their lives. Ryth has been injured by ricochet, Helene, and Vivienne separated as well as all the guys.

Riven, Kane, Thomas, and Hunter come to the realisation that their sister Melody is alive and that she has been a part of the Order all this time. Everything they have done, for her, was all for nothing. Leaving them devastated and heartbroken.

Helene comes face to face with Coulter as she is auctioned off, only to be slammed with the most soul gut-wrenching betrayal of her father.

For Vivienne's safety, does Helene go with Coulter because that is all that matters her safety. And when Vivienne and Helene are reunited, their joy is short-lived when they both come face to face with Haelstrom Hale.

Once again, they are separated, and they fight tooth and nail to get to each other, and when Coulter uses the tools that subjected her to the training she endured, he doesn't realise that it's unleashed something inside of her.

Because what they took from her, they also took something from Vivienne too, and Colt's alter ego The Beast felt it, and he is angry, very angry and hell hath no fury like a beast who will stop at nothing to protect his woman and his cub, because getting in his way will have dire consequences.

And when Riven, Kane, Thomas, Hunter, London, and the Sons go head to head, carnage, blood and vengeance rain down and around them as they fight for their lives and their women.

As they make their way out of the deluge, they know that this fight is far from over. Vivienne and Ryth are both safe and recovering. They now must come face to face with a new breed of evil, and they will do everything they can to put a stop to Haelstrom, Melody, and King's machinations once and for all.

This story, by far, took my breath away and stole it right from my lungs. It was a rollercoaster of thoughts, feelings, and emotions, one who will struggle to comprehend if you haven't read this story in its entirety from the beginning.

And the way that Riven, Kane, Thomas, and Hunter came together for their girl Trouble. Loving on her, being there for her in her time of need, giving her what she needs, there touch, the pain and pleasure ground her to them, because this is what they need, what they need before they themselves are in the biggest fight of their lives, not only for themselves, but her family and their entire future.

Highly recommend both the author and the book and now onto book 9 - Consumed, the epic conclusion to the Blood Ties series.

* PLEASE CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS

The series kicks off with ‘Mine,’ introducing Ryth, who finds herself in the tumultuous household of The Banks Brothers: Tobias, Nick, and Caleb. These men, soon her stepbrothers, are not thrilled about her presence, nor is she, but beneath the surface, attraction simmers, overshadowing their animosity. The brothers are irresistibly drawn to her, vowing to do anything to ensure their ‘Little Sister’ is safe. ‘Hers’ and ‘Ours’ continue this thrilling saga, filled with danger and forbidden romance. The narrative is packed with unexpected twists and a heat that will leave you breathless, making each chapter a pulse-pounding experience. The author masterfully crafts intensity, making these books addictive and impossible to put down.

‘Owned’ shifts focus to a new set of characters, though it remains intricately connected to the first three. ‘Traded’ and ‘Claimed’ follow Viv, the spirited captive of London St. James and his sons, Carven and Colt. Known as their Wildcat, Viv is strong and defiant, yet she can’t resist the magnetic pull they exert on her. Their obsession becomes a reality, binding them together in a powerful love that is the only thing that can keep her safe. As you navigate through every shocking twist, you’ll find yourself questioning if it will be enough. Can they protect her? Should they risk everything for her? Amidst the chaos, Viv captivates them with scenes of desire that bring them to their knees.

‘Forbidden,’ ‘Captured,’ and ‘Consumed’ delve into the lives of Helene (Trouble), Riven, Thomas, Kane, and Hunter, the Cruze Brothers. This story is a complete surprise, with the forbidden aspect reaching new heights in a why-choose scenario. Helene is aware of the stakes, yet she can’t resist the brothers, who fall for a woman who has nearly dismantled their decade-long efforts. The intense push and pull between the characters makes the story unexpectedly captivating. The raw and beautiful passion between them is unforgettable, ensuring you won’t be able to put these books down.

While the last three books focus heavily on these characters, the final installment will offer chapters from Ryth and The Banks, as well as Viv and The St. James. Throughout this series, you’ll never anticipate what comes next, which is my favorite part. Each twist fueled my imagination and curiosity, keeping me hooked and unable to stop reading.

This review doesn’t dive deep into the story, but there’s enough to pique your interest and leave you craving more. There’s so much I could share about these books, but that would spoil the exhilarating journey that is THE BLOOD TIES SERIES. Trust me, it’s a ride you won’t want to miss.

A.K. Rose, also known as Atlas Rose, is an exceptional author whose works are both thrilling and captivating. You become immersed in the characters and their story, feeling as though you’re experiencing it alongside them. The emotion and passion infused into these books are truly exquisite. She is a remarkable author, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of reading this series.

Series: Captured - Blood Ties #8

Synopsis
Continuing from events in Forbidden, Captured continues with FMC Vivienne, the Daughters and the guards from The Order being ambushed by MMC Hunter Cruz and his men. Hunter is the fourth Cruz brother and there is discord amongst him and the MMC Riven, Kane and Thomas due to their different preferred methods of getting their sister, Melody, back from The Order.

All of our beloved characters meet in this story: Ryth and the Banks brothers, London, Colt, Carven, and Vivienne. There is also distrust and anger when they learn of Vivienne’s relationship with Riven, Kane and Thomas. Can they get it together to face their common enemy, The Order?

Review
The books in this series keep getting better and better. The story of The Order is so sick and twisted. We keep getting bits of information in each book and just when we think we have a grasp, we get new information which changes everything.

For me personally, I don’t mind the constant suspense and action. I need all the information as soon as possible. The Order is so corrupt, powerful and sordid. It’s fascinating how the author comes up with this place and keeps it believable (for a fictional story) yet so captivating.

I am currently in the “I come for the romance and stay for the smut” era and this series brings it so much. There is a lot of story going on in the plot but there a romance always develops into smutty goodness. There isn’t as much spice in this book but there is so much fascinating plot. I’m a little sad yet eager to read the next book, which will be the last.

this book is soooo good yet sooo fu**ed up
this world that Atlas created, the Order I mean goddamn..there is so many twists and turns that makes the hair on ur neck stand.
and whats amazing is the ability for atlas to keep the pace and consistency in her books and characters i mean this is book 8 in the blood ties series and never once i felt bored or felt like skipping anything au contrary from book 1 i kept wanting more and more.
🔸This whole idea of breeding (the Sons the Daughters) how they have this weird connection and obedience nd ruthlesness its fascinating yet terrifying.

🔸Helene is such a strong FMC she'll go extreme, nothing can stop her even its gonna destroy her
she fights and she fights hard..
this book shows how rotten the Order is from the inside...u'll finnish every shapter and u'd be like...GEEEZZZZ What the actual F****

🔸Melody was a punch to our gut all right.
pure.f**ng.evil.
I never hated anyone as much as i hate Hale and Coulter from book 1 i imagined hale's death in many different scenarios
I personally wanted to kill them both and resurrect them so i could kill them again if u knw what i mean..

🔸one thing that i couldnt clearly understand or analyse properly is Colt ..i mean what he became if someone can explain this in the comments i'll be glad

i love how we get to see them reunited Ryth,Viv,Helene the Banks boys ,london, the Sons but Goddamn they all went through hell and back im even happy to see the Rossi's.

Can't wait for Consumed to be released i badly want to knw how all this ends once and for all

Where do I even begin....

First off I want to say a massive thank you to Atlas for giving me the chance to ARC read this book. I really appreciate it. All my opinions are honest and my own 🩷

This book is so f****** up on so many levels it isn't funny but it's an amazing read, one that I couldn't put down. It consumed me.

What Helene and her men have to go through is insane and I don't know how anybody can go through what they went through. In Captured we delve deeper into this world and start to find out what is truly going on with The Order. Let me tell you, it's messed up, there are so many twists and turns. We are also introduced to Hunter and let me tell you my mind was blown when we find out more about him and his backstory.

Helene is a true powerhouse. She knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to get there even if she destroys herself in the process.

We also got to see her men as well in Captured. It is obvious that they care for Helene, even Thomas....

I love that we got to see Ryth and Vivienne. Atlas has done an amazing job and creating this world and all the players involve whether they be good or evil.

I still have so many questions though....

I can't wait for the next book 🖤🖤🖤

The Order is coming for everyone. The daughters are in more danger than ever with Hale, Coulter, Harmon, and the rest of The Order regrouping to come back stronger and deadlier than before. Helene is doing everything she can to save herself and her sisters while navigating her feelings for the Cruz brothers while dealing with the aftereffects of her stay as a daughter trying to fight the conditioning and mind control she experienced. With betrayal comes even more danger for the King daughters especially Vivienne and her babies. When all hell breaks loose who will survive? Can all of our main men work together against The Order? When will this war ever end? Holy shit is all I can say about this book. I was riveted from page one and couldn't stop reading. The amount of anger I felt towards the characters and the injustice in this book could not have been healthy. I don't know if I can wait the next few days until the last book comes out. Honestly if you're here deciding if you want to read this series don't wait any longer do it you will not be disappointed, all I ask is that you take heed of the trigger warnings please they are there for a reason.

Confused with whole series view of women…. The daughters all three are trying to escape The Order. They don’t want to be sex slaves and be used by multiple men but the writer puts them all in multiple partner relationships. Where is the logic there. Brothers, father and sons and then brothers again. Not one FMC has a one on one MMC. They don’t want to be owned by the Order but they are ok being owned by multiple partners and passed around like a sex doll all in the supposed name of love. The FMC are made to be brainless women whose only reason for living is to be available for sex 24/7 on the demand of the MMCS. Doesn’t matter if they are raped, bashed, shot, driven over by a car etc. their only thought is to have sex straight after the ordeals with their multiple partners.

You don’t get gang raped, physically abused and suffer injuries only to 1 day later have a three way with brothers under the pretext of ‘they love you’.

Dark romance is great but at least make it believable. Why make the FMCS only goal in life is to have sex like they are battery operated sex dolls with abusive men being the ones who control the remote and then say it’s love.

Captured by A.K. Rose (Atlas Rose) Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Book 8 of the Blood Ties series

This is where the *Blood Ties* series finally lost me. The brutality overshadowed the heart, and the emotional payoff didn’t feel worth the whiplash. Repetition dulled the stakes, and Helene’s arc, once promising, felt stuck in a cycle of trauma with no space to process.

“Stockholm syndrome” feels less like subtext and more like the tagline.

Helene is with romance slotted in like emotional filler. The shock factor is high, but the emotional depth is shallow. Even Hunter, a new addition with potential, felt more like a plot device than earned growth.

Final thoughts: *Captured* pushes limits but loses its soul in the process. I’ll finish the series out of loyalty, but the spark is fading fast.

Trigger warning: Graphic violence, sexual assault, emotional manipulation. Please read with care.

Man oh man oh man! I read all 8 books back to back. I now need a mental break before the 9th book is released. I have so many questions I need answered and I don’t know how long I can wait. Do they destroy the new order are Viv’s babies ok? Is their father really the ass hole he seems to be? Do they kill their own sister? Ugh soooooo many questions!!!

Anyone Atlas did such an amazing job with the Charters and making sure their story line was kept alive and interesting. I would like to hear more points of view from all of them and not just Helen’s side now but I’m sure the next boom will be just as good. It’s was so hard to put down!

There are def triggers if things like rape and violence trigger you when reading. And there is ALOT of hot sex scenes that are very “different” that might trigger some emotions but I was able to push past it. Also if you are not into the whole male male male female thing, this series is def not for you 🤣😂 but I highly recommend it if you love dark and dirty smut!

🌟 5/5 – Plot? Twisty. Emotions? Everywhere. Spice? Surprisingly tame—but I didn’t even care.

Okay, first of all Captured absolutely delivered. I went into this expecting dark romance intensity (as usual with A.K. Rose), and what I got was that plus an emotional gut punch I was NOT prepared for. The spice level might’ve been the lowest in the series so far, but honestly? The plot was so strong it didn’t even matter.

Helene… wow. She’s been through so much, and watching her fight not just for herself but for her sisters especially Vivienne, broke me in the best way. There’s a strength in her that made me root for her with everything I had.

And then there’s Hunter. 🫠 Dangerous, intense, and yet so protective. The instant connection between him and Helene just worked. Like, no question. He’s the kind of guy who steps in and changes everything—quietly lethal, but you trust him anyway.

Now… that twist? I literally sat there blinking like, did that really just happen? My jaw dropped. Completely caught me off guard, and I LOVED it. A.K. Rose keeps leveling up with each book and this one might be the most emotionally gripping yet.

Also, can we talk about Colt unleashing the beast? Because YES. These men are protective in all the right ways, and it never feels overdone it’s just the right blend of loyalty, heat, and feral energy. 🥵

If you’re reading the Blood Ties series, Captured is not one to skip. It's a bit of a slower burn in terms of heat, but the story? 10/10. I’m already itching to dive into Consumed, because if this book is any indication, we’re in for so much more in the last book of this series. Off to devour it! 🤭

This book generally shocked me, kings plot twist 🤯I never saw coming I really thought he was one of the good guys. My heart breaks for the boys, spending ten years searching for their little sister and she’s a complete b!tch supporting the order and everything hales done. I hope Vivianne and the twins are okay, Colt going protective dad mode has my heart lol I will say I didn’t like the part where it says colt “ran on all four legs” these are humans, not werewolves and it just didn’t really work with me it felt off even with how “animal” and unhuman he gets when he “becomes the beast” I found it a little off putting in the 2nd trilogy but still love colt tho he’s my baby🩵🥰 hunter?! Omg hunter is probably my 2nd fav MMC in the 3rd trilogy, 2nd to riven. Love his origination to protect women etc, the fact he was willing to put down his brothers just thinking they hurt or did anything to Helene 🫠 Can’t wait to read the last book👀

Title: Blood Ties Series (Books 7-9)
Author: A.K. Rose

Review: This review is based off books 7-9 in the Blood Ties Series.

Jumping straight into the mysterious world of the first Daughter, Helene. I had mixed feelings about Helene as she wasn't involved as much in the first few books of the series so I didn't really feel a connection with her. I also wasn't keen that the evil brothers of The Order got their grubby hands on one of the Daughter's. I was surprised at the character turnaround, one minute I hated them then the next they were redeeming themselves... but ultimately I just couldn't get over the hurt that they had caused to all those girls even with the lame excuse they gave. I did finish the series as I just couldn't leave it like that and I'm so glad that I did because that ending............... c'mon!

I loved all the POV's from past and present in the series and I can't wait to jump into the next family.

*Please read the trigger warnings as this was very confronting*

I am so glad that this book was majorly plot based since I don't like the characters at all.
What Helene goes through in this book is so raw and her strength has me rooting for her even if I still despise her taste in men.
I'm ready to wrap up the series and see where it takes us. The bombshell betrayal (well the first one) I saw coming but not the savagery of it! whew!!! The last one I didn't see coming but also because it doesn't make sense. "He" can't have been playing them this whole time. it doesn't add up. like at all. Sooooo maybe this is a misdirect and we will see how all the bricks and breadcrumbs finally fall into place. I'm rooting for Vivs babies (where was Rhyths baby that whole time?!) three stars for the characters. Still hate the MMCs. Hunter is ok tho. But four stars (maybe even 4.5) for the plot and suspense this book. LOTS of stuff going on, the food the bad the ugly. It was a RIDE!

OMG!!! I found it very hard to put this book down. I was so anxious to see what was going to happen only to have to wait to see what the final outcome will be in the next book.

Helene has been taken by Hunter (who happens to be Riven, Thomas and Kane’s younger brother) for her protection, only Hunter thinks she needs protecting from his brothers. The Order is slowly coming apart, or is it? Betrayed by someone he thought he trusted, Hunter joins forces with his brothers, London St James and his Sons, along with the Rossi’s to protect the “Daughters” from the New Order.

Buckle up! When the 3 sisters and their multitude of men come together, Hale and Melody will not know what is going to hit them.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Prepare for chaos

Please read the trigger warnings Or let me just say if you have any trigger warnings this is not the book for you.

This series 8 books and should be getting more repetitive or lighter on the twists and turns but every book brings you a new layer of evil. A new revelation Of the sinister Happenings with Happenings with in the order.in

You could say some of it was expected but some of it was straight up absolute chaos. The only annoying part is that they're constantly caught, Undermined and outgunned. Finally that comes to an end in this book.

We are now in the 3rd series And in the eldest daughter's tale a finding her HEA. But I'm realizing Is as much as these are dark romances they are also about 3 sisters finding each other and the bonds Between them.

Absolutely supercalifragilisticexpialidociously fantastic
