Isla’s been taken captive by a New York gang, the Delgados. While she tries to find an escape, she instead finds herself someone parading as a new friend. Isla’s distrust is deep but when the stranger is kind to her, she doesn’t know how to react. All thoughts on returning to Amato, she eventually gives into the unexpected friendship in the hopes it’ll help her get back home.

Amato is searching for Isla and unable to get anywhere. Without ransom or any kind of demand from the enemies keeping Isla captive, he’s out of ideas on how to get her back. He falls deeper into darkness where the voices in his head become more powerful and his morals become greyer. He will stop at nothing to get Isla back.
