This family goes on their first vacation after the mom remarries to man that has two boys. The girls think they are 'monsters' at first.

However they meet a real 'monster' of a dead girl who is haunting the house they are in because it was hers. She is awful at first until they try make friends. It works until the girls and boys invite the ghosts siblings who did not like the girl and blamed her for her death.

When go back home the black cat statue they used to let the girl follow them to the beach is in their bag and the ghost is there too.

Was okay, wasn't happy with some of the things the ghost did or the fact she got kids in trouble.

Jessica, her sister, her mother, her new stepfather and two monster stepbrothers are staying at a little cottage in England for a family vacation. Their first vacation together, and all the kids are miserable. When they find messages on the refrigerator saying "Beware this house is haunted" they all assume the others are behind it, but the messages are followed by laughter and shrieks in the night and flying dishes. Soon a nasty girl ghost named Beryl reveals herself to the kids, this is HER house and she wants them out. The kids try to make friends with Beryl, but her nasty nature tends to ruin everything. Will the family survive their vacation with a surly teen aged ghost?
