Three Really Good Books All Very Engaging

This three-in-one volume book by Burl Barer.

The first book A Taste for Murder.
This book is about Fank Rodrigues who is found dead on the bedroom floor. Frank is a counsellor whose sudden death unravels a web of secrets, conspiracies, and sinister plots. His wife Angelina Rodriguez has the basic characteristics of the typical borderline personality disorder and keeps on bugging the police saying he was murdered. Without giving any more away This book has plenty of twists and turns and you will find there are some shocking developments as the heartless cold bloody killer is revealed.

The second book Is Betrayal in Blue.
This book is about the corruption in the NYC police force in Brooklyn 75 precinct during the 1980's.
You may have seen the documentary as the book focuses on two of the most corrupt police officers Mike Dowd and Ken Eurell. What happens when police officers have gone bad and what happens when turning a blind eye towards the criminal behaviours taking place right out in the open results in people committing murder for hire for a couple of hundred dollars. It is easy to see how it happened when We read how the infamous “Blue Wall of Silence” which both ensnares and protects these officers. Then we watch as it all collapse as the book goes deeply into the mindset of criminal police officers who disgraced their badges, and their responsibility.

The third book Man Overboard.
This book is about a man presumed drowned as he was supposed to have fallen out of his Boat. A decade later after collecting a million dollars in a false death claim he declared he did not fake his death. Phil Champagne is a true character but a bloke who will have you turning the pages to see what he is up to next. He is a tough guy who always seems to end up on the right side of the law. Phil is a middle-aged man who has gone wild but eventually the police catch up to him and put him where he belongs behind bars. You will have a few good laughs along the way in this book.
Burl Barer is an extraordinarily talented author with Three outstanding vastly different books for true crime readers. Thanks to WildBlue Press I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
