Three years after getting married, Eva and Nadia Warren are set for a year of travel, adventure, and shenanigans!
The sands of Malibu welcome Eva and her wife Nadia for a week of sun, surf, and sin, but it’s not as easy as putting on a bikini and working on a tan.
Because Isabella, Eva’s bigoted mother, is in town and wants to talk.
To the tune of “California Dreamin’” and “Surfin’ USA,” Eva has to wrangle Isabella’s plans for her daughter’s parental future. Nadia, meanwhile, is either saddled with babysitting her niece or making nice with the waitress at the local retro diner right on the shores of Zuma Beach.
Neither Nadia nor Eva have forgotten their promise at the start of the year. Yet between family drama and the crushing existential dread that haunts their last big vacation of the year, Nadia may not be in the mood and even Eva might have other things on her mind.
Until a Malibu waitress crosses their path for the final time, anyway.
It’s the ultimate turning point of this marriage as Eva comes to terms with her future and Nadia discovers a side of her that’s been yearning to thrive for years!
All Malibu knows is that the PCH has never seen a hot night like this before!
Just when I think I couldn’t love Eva and Nadia’s characters any more, along comes Lesbians in Malibu and boy does it bring the heat.
We see Eva continue to struggle with her mothers continued interference in her life, her perpetual put downs of Nadia and the potentially damaging influence she may have on her niece’s perception of the world. Eva’s fuse is growing ever shorter. She’s going to need a release before she loses it completely.
Nadia has struggles of a different kind as we see her internal debates over whether she can really go through with the threesome she and Eva agreed to. The more time she spends without Eva, who is acting as a buffer between her mother and her niece, the more time she spends with Kenzie, a waitress, the more appealing the idea becomes.
Eva continues trying to create the perfect opportunity for the threesome, however, Nadia makes it very clear what will not be happening. Eva Warren may be a dominant figure in all aspects of her life, but in this marriage Nadia is no full time submissive and when she makes her decision, her doting wife is only too happy to fall in line to give her what she wants, how and when she wants it. The secret to their happy marriage, trust, respect and consent.
I can’t wait to see where Eva and Nadia end up next.
Eva and Nadia are on vacation in Malibu. Isabelle Warren is making life hell for all the Warren. Making Eva abide to the contract when she got married to Nadia regarding children. Plus she is babysitting her niece Abigail for her brother while she is with her grandmother. A great read of how they live their lives and how Nadia is changing thinking about becoming a parent. Hope the next book is a Vegas trip.
Another great story about Eva and Nadia. Actually, pretty fricking awesome! Read it, you’ll see. I can’t wait for the next chapter of their lives…a little Warren perhaps?
Promises are made and completed in this story.. Family issues are confronted and unresolved for another installment. Well written with round characters and the perfect ending.
